earlier in this episode Nick shoot the light to win some air and when he think they are near digging to find him, in fact it's just the glass which is cracking cause of the shoot and his weight and the earth weight near the bullet hole.

Nick and Warrick flipped a coin and Nick got the case, so it could have easily been warrick who got it and would have been kidnapped. But Walter Gorden didn't care who it was just as long as it was a CSI, because he blamed all of them for his daughter being convicted. 1) What shifts are the characters on and who is their supervisor? ie Graveyard or Swing and who they report to.

2) Do any of the CSI's get regular days off?

3) I have some Nick related questions and I don't know exactly where to post them. Could I post them here or could someone direct me to a better thread? Thanks everyone!

My understanding right now is that they are all on the graveyard shift and Grissom is the supervisor. Sara moved to swing (not Switzerland, as my co-workers misheard! :guffaw after her relationship with Grissom was discovered.

Regular days off? Good question. I would assume so, but I don't recall ever hearing them say that so and so was "off" when they weren't there. They usually say they're at a conference or in court or something.

I have a question, I saw an episode of CSI where Sara and Cath found a dead body in a closet, can someone tell me what episode and season that is. Or y'know if I'm just going crazy and there was never an episode where a dead body was in a closet. I think it was a kid, but it might have been an elderly woman...There's too many episodes to keep track of...

I believe the ep you are thinking of is Ep 403 "Homebodies" Grissom and Warrick investigate the death of a mummified body found locked in a closet and find that their case is directly related to a Breaking and Entering at another residence investigated by Nick and Sara. The stakes are raised when the investigation reveals that the teenaged daughter was raped during the home invasion. Meanwhile, Catherine investigates the discovery of a gun found in a backyard and ties the weapon to a dead body found in a park.
