I've not seen the episode you've mentioned - Detox. But my favorite episode so far is from Season 1 Ep 15: MOB Rules. The story where the baby stuck a police man then a fire truck up his nose to save a cat he's stuck in earlier is just so hilarious! :lol: It's typical for babies to pull such weird antics; but I've got to say that this is one brilliant baby! ;) :lol:

The new episode airs tomorrow night ;), I think House is one of the strongest showss to come out of the US in quite a few years, I can't get enough of it :lol:
 
I know this has been mentioned earlier in the thread, but I can't believe how well Hugh Laurie does an american accent. It is so odd to watch the show then watch the special features on the DVD and listen to him with his British Accent. It is soo cool!!! I am in love with this show. I can't wait to see the new episode tomorrow night. I don't think I have seen any previews, but most of Season 2 that I have seen has been good so far. I am working my way through the season 1 boxed set, but not very fast. I might watch the 5th episode tonight. I keep going back to Hugh's wonderful acting in episode 11, I just can't get over the episode. I can't compare Grave Danger to this one, but my intrest level in this episode vs. Grave Danger is the same.
If you have about 5 hours and a very open mind, I'll tell you exactly what I liked about episode 11 in Season one of this wonderful show.

So on Friday, I did some research on show and I found a synopsis for Season 1 episode 11, and I got interested in the episode, for reasons I will not discuss. So I went out and bought the boxed set from walmart for 46.00 and on Friday night I watched Episode 1-11 aka.Detox, man that was a good episode and I am now hooked on the show. I had only seen like two episodes since it started, but now I am hooked. Hugh put on such a great performance in the episode, and I fell in love with it as soon as the episode was over, I was like Whoa, this show Rocks. So yeah anyway, I heard it is on tonight, but I can't watch it tonight, as it is my 21 birthday and my parents are taking me out to dinner. I just wanted to share my opinion and share that I am now hooked on the show.

I agree with you,"Detox" is also one of my fave ep,H.Laurie was great there.
I'd also like a lot "Three Stories","Love hurts" and "Daddy's boy".
 
I didn't see this posted, but did anyone notice that in one of the episodes, House at the end of the episode sort of in a way danced to "Baba o Riley" the CSI NY theme song? I only know this because I asked for the first season on DVD. I had a marathon, LOL.

well, i love house, and hugh is one of the funniest person in the world, and i love him so much and i happen to like him better with the american accent than the british because it suits house better i think

well i should just to give up because i could probably go one forever on how much i absolutely love this show so i will say that it is my #2 favorite show(csi first obviously :D) and leave it at that

oh and new episode tomorrow, Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I have to say, my favourite episodes were Detox, Histories, Babies and Bathwater,and Three Stories... Wait, have I told you guys before? Ah well.

Can't say for season 2, haven't watched at all. Just finished up Season 1 last night lol.

The moments between House and Stacey in the billing office, where Stacey calls House an idiot when House offers to pay the bills out of his pocket or bribe the guy! That was so House like to miss his plane to be with Stacey. And Forman thinks he's in charge, House showed him. It was a great episode!!

I agree, last night's episode was good, but I was sort of lost on the whole House and Stacy thing, but that is what I get for watching season 2 very sporatically. I think I have seen about 3 episodes this season counting last night's episode. But I get the fact that there is something going on between House and Stacy. There seems to be somthing different with House this season, I can't quite put my finger on it, but somthing is different. It just may be that Hugh is finally comfortable in the role and it's a little easier on him or what I don't know, but somthing seems to be different. I thought I missed somthing last night when Foreman was in charge, it took me the entire first 30 mins to figure out that he was only in charge while House was gone. The whole airport scene was great with the kid and the ball. One sequence, the kid is bugging House with the ball and then the next sequence where the kid was looking for the ball and couldn't find it. It turns out House had it, that was hillarious. That is so something House would do. I thought the whole episode was great, and I can't wait for the next new episode, which convienitnely doesn't air for 3 weeks on the Feb. 7. I was sitting there watching the preview last night going "Sure, now that I am hooked on the show you tease me with 1 new episode, and then you go into a break for three weeks." Grrrr, Oh, well, we go through the same thing waiting for new CSI's so yeah, I am looking forward to Feb. 7 and I am glad House is still going to be on on Tuesday nights and not moving like Bones.
But the Bones thing is for the Bones thread, so I won't get into that here. :)

I didn't care for the Stacy/House scenes in the hotel room. Frankly, I don't like seeing him nice and lovey-dovey. LOL - I prefer the Jerk! I am somewhat of a House/Cameron shipper, but I want them to scream at each other and then make out. I don't want to see him writing poems or singing her loves songs.

Did anyone else notice the title of the book he was reading in the airport??! It was called Lesbian Prison Stories. CLASSIC! :lol:

I noticed the book too, and I thought that is what it said. I started laughing when I figured out what the cover of the book said, but in the same thought I was like, now why would House read a book like that? But hey it's television, there are just some questions that are better not Answered. :lol: :D

i know, i was so glad, i mean it would have ruined everything! i wish that he would just get over her already, i liked the episode, but i dont want another one like that because i dont like it when house is not there, he cant be as funny! looking forward to new episodes!
 
after all the spoilers and so forth I was reading I was dreading it and when they walked into the hotel room I thought noooo, but then the team rang, how I love Foreman for ringing!! :lol:

and he turned away from Stacy when he was talking to Cameron, interesting ;)
