Re: ~Horatio's Thread #4 - Everybody Loves Raymond's Brother

Nice pictures :)

Had another little H conversation with my dad.
me:- "Can I get Horatio sunglasses?"
dad:- "Then whats he gunna wear?"

Well at least he said I could get them. I wonder what the next H conversation will be about.

Btw Pusher, I really like your new avvy. What show is it from? (sorry, I can't recognise the people in it)

this is DC in his movie "Kiss of death" . and thanks re my ava i first like the motto : the end of the line ask the rest why :p

Thanks Pusher - yeah, the motto is pretty cool :) sounds like an interesting movie!

MiamiDade - heh, my ponderings...hee, more like incoherent ramblings  I used to have this problem when I posted in Shippers - I could never quite find the right words or phrases to get across what I wanted to say  I fear it's turning into the same thing with Horatio's character

Looking through my photobucket album, it doesn't appear that I posted pics from Entrance Wound, so I will bring some tomorrow. I know I'll need something to kick-start my Monday morning  You ladies will be in for a treat :D

So, I've heard that Simple Man is supposed to be a really good epi :) do you guys agree it's the best season 1 episode in terms of H character development? or are there other better episodes that I have to look forward to? :D (sorry if you've had this discussion before).

When I've finished watching S1, I'm going to reflect and look back, and decide what I think was the most important and revealing moment of H's character development and why :D ) ('cause I love doing stuff like that - character anaylsis, etc.).

Re: ~Horatio's Thread #4 - Everybody Loves Raymond's Brother

Urm 'Simple Man' is really interesting in terms of H character development cause of the whole appearance of Yelina, but I would also put 'Freaks and Tweaks' right up there with it cause we get all the angst and a bit more detail about Ray and his life, there are some interesting little scenes in 'Grave Young Men' too :)

'Simple Man' is wonderful, but then again I am biased as we have the introduction of Yelina in that episode. We certainly see an interesting side to H from his interactions with her. ;)

Even so, you still have some excellent episodes to watch. My pic of the bunch in terms of seeing H at his most fascinating would be 'Dead Woman Walking' where we see him at his most compassionate and determined best, and 'Freaks and Tweaks', where he loses his composure and we learn more about his brother Raymond's past.

My other favourites would be 'Dispo Day', 'Grave Young Men' and 'Body Count'. All amazing episodes. :D

wibble, in my opinion, Season 1 just gets better and better. Then, you have the brilliant Season 2 on the horizon too, which is my very favourite season. ;)

Thanks Pusher re my avatar. I also really like yours and I don't believe I've commented on it. :) Shame on me!

 I'm also a little biased there. Still, anyone can see the huge character development H undergoes in 'Simple Man'. Being as we see this cool and composed man suddenly turn into a wriggling school boy. *stops before going too far*

Re: ~Horatio's Thread #4 - Everybody Loves Raymond's Brother

Good morning, ladies! :D Welcome to Monday! In my opinion, one of the worst days of the week, *cue "Manic Monday" by The Bangles*

I'm all excited now about seeing the rest of S1 having read your opinions :) I think it is already very good, yet I am only half way through, so can't wait for the rest of the episodes! :D Thanks for your thoughts on which epis you think are the best in terms of H character development - I will look out for those, particularly 'Simple Man' where we see Yelina for the first time. I'm glad you guys pointed that out to me because I was wondering where she was to begin with, as I assumed she was a regular character who we see in the Pilot epi like most others.

Anyway, I will try to get to watching 'Bunk' within the next couple of days, but until then, (as promised) I bring pics from 'Entrance Wound' to kick-start our Monday, and not let those grey clouds outside dampen my spirits this morning.

So to start with, I think we need a good view of those sideburns mingled with an intense look. :)

Next, the holy sunglasses with the head tilt , but ideally, we need to be able to see those blue puppy eyes properly, and of course, it's always a bit better when he does a little cute smile like that too :D

And to round off, some random Horatio cap from this epi:

Ooooo! Pretty flower!

There, hope that brightens things up in the Horatio House of Huggles for now :D I have some more pics, but I'll save those for later ;) (all caps courtesy of doubleobsession.net)

Re: ~Horatio's Thread #4 - Everybody Loves Raymond's Brother

Thats cheered me up since I have and cold, school and exams to do today so thanks for that :)

Re: ~Horatio's Thread #4 - Everybody Loves Raymond's Brother

Thanks so much wibble! My Monday now seems a whole lot better. :D

Btw, seeing the names Horatio and House next to each other always brightens my day! ;)

Re: ~Horatio's Thread #4 - Everybody Loves Raymond's Brother

wow this thread now look like real talk place :D and big special merit have wibble :p thanks a lot for all this Monday pics, hope ur co-mod to not abduct u again behind Misc iron gates

is this too late to tell my fav epis from S 1 ?! i like 'Losing face' coz H for the fist time show a little partiality toward the case and like the way Megan show him the right way...like 'Just One Kiss' coz at last H succeed to overcome law system and at put behind the bars 2 bad guys - son and father...'Ashes to Ashes' and special 'Broken' was for me the most sad epi...not only for H but also for the cases. like a lot 'Kill Zone' and 'Dispo Day' - here have a lot action and smart-remark H, the most strong epis for H was 'Dead Woman Walking', 'Simple Man', 'Grave Young Men' there we all come to know ours Saint Horatio and his real family .... and of course not in the last place the last scene in 'Body Count' :D

but when u start to watch S2 for me will be a lot difficult to give my fav epis from there. coz this is my fav season of CSI Miami :p

as i rememebr rigth in the previous page of this thread we all talk for H and rain and .... =

here 2 pic from the most point fav epi from S 1 'Simple Man', i always laugh at the way H run but...this is H right ? and we have wet Man, grey Hummer and heavy rain :D

Re: ~Horatio's Thread #4 - Everybody Loves Raymond's Brother

Best episode in terms of H development? Yes Freaks & Tweaks is the one where you start seeing the development of H's family complications. However, I'd suggest Dead Woman Walking too because that episode(besides being my fav) shows just how deep his dedication is to his work and the victim. You'll definitely fall in love with Horatio there. That episode came to me as powerful and moving, not to mention there's a scene where you get to imagine him showering.  Great storyline from beginning till end and then there's the memorable quote by Belle King - "Horatio is the first CSI"
Well, actually, the best of S1 are mostly the later episodes, and the finale is not to be missed.

Re: ~Horatio's Thread #4 - Everybody Loves Raymond's Brother

Ooooo H running always amusing ;)
*searches round for Ducky*

Great pics to come home to on monday afternoon, thanks folks, those Baby blues always make my day :D

Yeah I really like 'Losing Face' too it sets up a lot of H's history, but mentioning 'Bunk' actually there are some interesting bits in that for H too, especially the final scene, and there's a really nice scene with H and Alexx too :)

Re: ~Horatio's Thread #4 - Everybody Loves Raymond's Brother

Ahhh after watching Felony Flight - Manhattan Manhunt last night it reminded me why I fell in love with Miami when I first saw these episodes. :) Wonder what went wrong? DC also looks more haggard(aged)since then also. :( Why haven't they cleared up about the summons H received while in NY? Does anyone know what it was about? :) Did it have something to do with his mother? I loved the color also. The show's gotten too colorful since S3. :p I don't like it. Loved him looking after the boys interest. Telling Adam he'll be the first to call when he found his mamas killer. He kept that promise too. He always does if possible. That was what I fell in love with the show on & the character of H. His compassion. :D He still has that but think he lost his sense somewhere along the way though since then. :D

Oh yes, Ducky often locks me behind those - someone had better come rescue me next time  j/k :p Actually, more like revision and exams that have kept me confined to behind Misc gates lately :( But that's all over with now, thank heavens! :D

Anyways, you're all very welcome to the pictures! :) I'm glad they brightened the day a little :D

Pusher - those pictures of H in the rain made me laugh  though to be honest, I think he looks kinda cute when he runs :D *ducks flying rotten vegetables* But yes, I can definitely see why it's amusing :)

And H is running through the rain there too - awwws, looks like he could do with an umbrella :) I look forward even more to seeing 'Simple Man'. That reminds me (now how sad is this), I had to go out this afternoon, and it was pouring with rain...so when I was stood at the bus stop on the way home, it suddenly occurred to me how nice it would be if H was standing with me under my umbrella *sigh* :D I think the rain would suddenly not seem such a nuisance

Well, moving on before I embarrass myself any further  I bring a few more pics from 'Entrance Wound' :D

Let's have a little irritated Horatio:

You messing with me, pal?

Watch it, pal! or I'll laserbeam you with my Holy sunglasses!

:D

And for some contrast, a bit more happier H :)

Cutie

Case solved = peace

Hope you like, folks! :) Enjoy :D (all caps courtesy of doubleobsession.net).

EDIT: Thanks for those comments Liz - sounds like 'Bunk' will be another interesting H episode :)
