Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~
There are so many good points raised here that I wish real life allowed me the time to respond to them all.
I will have to come back once I've watched the episode again, but I thought Yelina's handing of things was pretty spot on. It was Horatio that was unrecognizable at times. Steven Seagal Tally - that's inspired and so very apt! I'm not quite sure if the writers intended it this way or if DC was going through the acting motions unconvincingly. I felt he was very lacklustre at times in Season 4. I definitely think he was in mission mode like Luce and others have said. Almost a 'no time for affection' approach.
The 'vase' scene and ending were well orchestrated and there were glimpses of the H/Y of old there. Geni's caps capture that nicely. As Sofia said in her e-mail, there is 'hope for the future', but:
Maybe given time, H will get over his current personality crisis and normal service will resume!
Good to see you again iheartnickcath. Glad you were able to experience the chemistry first hand. They have it in abundance.
EDIT: Tally, I didn't see your most recent post when I was replying! Interesting we both said Yelina was 'spot on'. I really thought she was too. Flawless infact.
Indeed so.What was that you said some time ago, MD about leopards never changing their spots? We're not even talking Raymond here.
