Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~
I just wrote the longest post I have ever written for anything and the computer deleted it. Grr. Alright, lets see if i can repeat it.
I haven't been here for a very long time, and when I return, you present me with brand spanking new pics of Horatio and Yelina! YAY!! Yelina looks BEAUTIFUL in her white dress. And I love the captions on the one where Horatio is looking at us. I got to agree with the comment ‘BUSTED!’
Okay, I did mention Raymond, but I'll condense it for this one. He is Public Enemy Number one. I can't stand him. He should be shot. No, being shot is too good for him. He should have things too vulgar and painful to be mentioned here done to him.
This comes out of the fact that at the End of 10-7, which I just watched for the second time, he gives H this. . .look, when he's hugging Yelina that makes me so mad! And H is just standing there acting like his heart isn't being ripped out, burned, and it's smoking pieces fed to him. The only place you can really see his pain is his eyes. His eyes show that he is shattering from his heart outward. And then he puts his sunglasses on, and its that classic ‘I’m hiding my pain’ thing.
Also note, that when Y looks at H, she smiles, or at least, tries to smile, despite the fact her eyes show much the same pain as H’s. When she looks at R, she looks like she’s trying to muster up a smile for the father of her child, but she just. . .can’t. . .quite. . .do it. Her hug with Ray is much more forced than the one with H. And Raymond looks at H and Y when they hug and then turns away, as though he is trying not to see this obvious love between these two. He’s denying the fact his wife would be happier with his brother than with him. And H looks at him and he looks almost worried that Ray might notice something. *shakes head helplessly*
Then, at the end of the ep when Ray is turning to go into the plane and H points at him, that is one hell of a warning. (Forgive my language) He’s telling Ray ‘If you hurt her, I will kick your ass.’
Ray really needs that asskicking of redheaded proportions. H needs to severely kick his ass before he dies. If he dies. This would be his third ‘death,’ after all. I’m beginning to wonder if this is a Joss Whedon show!
Ok, about ‘What’s left of me,’ I heard that on the radio one time when I was hanging out with a friend of mine, but her mom changed it before I heard much more than the first verse, but it still made me look up and go ‘Hey, that sounds like Hoyay!’(forgive my use of the term.) I have since saved it on my computer and listen to it all the time. The lines shown here:
Now I’m broken
And I’m faded,
I’m half the man I thought I would be
But you can have what’s left of me.
Have always made me think of S4 H. Who is not the real H. And also the lines
Take what’s left
Of this man
Make me whole
Once again.
Make me think of them, because H is just not H without Yelina around. He’s missing something when she’s gone. And while we’re on the subject of Hoyay songs, lets see if I have any others I’d like to comment on.
Somebody’s mentioned ‘Crawling back to you’ by the Backstreet boys, haven’t they? Umm, okay, now that I’ve said that I can’t remember what I was going to say about it. Hmm, how about ‘The Long One’ by Josh Gracin? Umm, I don’t think I’ve seen it, so I’ll put the lyrics up.
There’s no holding you back
When you’re leaving
I’ll have to face it alone
Until tomorrow
And as you’re fading away
I know
It’s a matter of hours ‘til the tears begin
Guess I’ll turn out the lights
And I’ll settle in.
Chorus
For the long one
For the restless night
As your memory plays
With no end in sight
It’s a strong one
And it holds on tight
Laying in the darkness
Praying for the morning sun
It’s a long one.
I’ve been through this before
It wasn’t easy and
I think I’m ready this time
I think I’m ready
I’ll lay down on this bed
And then
I’ll imagine your touch
And I’ll see your face
And the shadows will come
And surround this place
Chorus
These days go by so fast
I just turn around
And then they’re gone
And when the nighttime comes it’s
Long and lonely
Holding on and on
Chorus
And I really need to stop typing before this thing gets insanely long.
