Anyway, I can get pretty crazy over my ships as well. Hahahahaha! So, I guess I'll fit in nicely. :D

One thing I like about Yelina in the story/show is that whenever she's around, it's the only time Horatio gets a bit uncomfortable. I notice how he's like shuffling around when she's talking to him. And he smiles more. But then again, it's just me lol....

I think now is a good time to spark a real relationship between the two. I mean, both of them are widowed and they can understand each other better than other people. They can help heal each other's wounds.

Definitely not just you. ;) These have come to be known as Horatio's 'wriggly' moments (a word so aptly chosen by Tally). He has even blushed in her presence and he is at times at a loss for words around her. I love the way she brings out his vulnerable side.

Very much so and I'm hoping the writers will approach it from this angle. It will show continuity and this was hinted at in the final scene of 'Rio'. They are in the same place emotionally.

chaostheory08, as Luce said, we all love that Yelina has this ability to make H all 'wriggly', even shy at times. I will always remember Ann D's comment in the Blood Brothers dvd audio commentary, when she said that (in the famous foyer scene) H seemed like a 14 year old boy "in love with this girl." So cute, human, natural, vulnerable. Just a great TV moment. :)
 
^ really this have been said from Ann D. ?! wow :) but i still can`t got it how is possible now she to not make anything good like in the old/real Miami days *sigh*

anyway after i have been in CSI:Miami Season 5 *Spoiler Lab* thread and read a lot for Rick Stetler start wonder what will be one H/Y fanfic without him :devil: yes, Yelina has this ability to make H all 'wriggly', but and Stetler have his part in this complex relationship ;) coz of him H have make one of my fav quotes : 'If u hit her again, i`ll kill u.' GO H !!! or at last come back to u as we know u - *looking sad at MD ava*

I agree with you Pusher, Rick played an important part. As Yelina said that she wanted something uncomplicated made me laugh (ironically). She knew that Rick and Horatio are more enemies than friends and she knew about the problems.
The scene in 'Crime Wave' was great. Horatio spoke the threat in such a calm way, it was almost alarming.
and the moment in 'Whacked' was perfect.

BTW, Lucy your icon is sooo cute. :D

Me too. Didn't she imply that Rick was 'simple'? I know that comment was made in comparison to her relationship with H, but there was definitely something amusing about it, even though that scene was heartbreaking. Poor H, but then again, he is his own worst enemy. Was Yelina just supposed to wait forever? Men! :rolleyes: ;)

Aw, 'The Oath'. :( H was so shell shocked. I did see the funny side too though (re the 'simple' comment). I'm pretty sure Yelina said, "Stetler is simple....and this is...." and H said, "Complicated?" to which Yelina agreed. It certainly was complicated, but that's what made it so watchable and kept us wanting more. Great drama!
 
I love how H said that Yelina has family back in Miami. I know that he meant that he's there for them if ever she thinks of returning. It's sweet of him and it's pretty oblivious that he's still in love with Yelina.

Somebody sent me a quote via SMS last week that said: "Just remember, when the man of your dreams catches you looking at him -- don't look away because now you kow that he's looking back." Now that I think of it, it's very applicable on these two.

The reason that I thought about that is I kinda have a personal experience like this. I have a friend who is widowed and she remarried not long ago. Her husband is a widower and she said that of all the guys she's dated in the past, this man really helped her move on and heal. And now, she's happy. They're happy together.

Yes, it is. Plus, the amount of times these two catch each other looking at one another, they both must know what each of them is thinking. That made more sense in my head than how it sounds, lol. Must be getting late!

There were many times when these two exchanged little looks. These mean so much and are beatifully subtle. This is where the acting of DC and SM comes into it's own. They play off each other so well.

I saw the new James Bond film last night, and while I liked it, Bond and the main Bond girl had such little chemistry in my opinion. It seemed so wooden, and it made me think of how great the chemistry is between H and Y. :)
 
Oh I'm pretty sure H and Yelina know what the other is thinking. They are just afraid to act on it.

2006 will be over in less than 6hours here... so...

Also, I thought the same thing about chemistry whilst watching Casino Royale. H/Y, Roxton and Marguerite from TLW (thanks for the comment re my avatar - credit goes to Thumpy!) and Adama/Roslin in BSG have way more chemistry than Bond and Vesper, in my opinion (though I enjoyed the film too).

Anyway, here's a reminder of that pic MD posted back in November. Makes me feel like celebrating H/Y! :D
