BTW, I just realized that I haven't commented as yet on Hummer's news received from one of the tptb via email. *sigh* I am marvelling at the stone cold obtuseness of the statement. You know the following quote by Hermione from "Harry Potter & the Sorceror's Stone", "What an Idiot!", would not be a fair enough assessment of the situation. :rolleyes:

i`m so happy that we are going to make H/Y thread #4 :D i don`t have any claim for the new title of this place, but will miss this one 'Goodbye Doesn't Mean Forever' :p

and when i read HnM nickname just want to ask did we have news from her ?! how is she doing ?! :rolleyes: hope everything to be OK and to see her soon :D
 
^ I too hope she is okay and wonder how she is.

Love those lyrics Tal. I can certainly hear that song playing when H/Y are together again. So good for the collection to be for Sher. :)

Thank-you for clearing that up. Was a little confused. With the Sher, HAM, HnM names. :lol:

Anyway, it seems she does have tons of posts here and certainly has contributed a well written, plus long-standing, fic to these two. I do wish her well and hope she can come back soon and I can meet her! :) Afterall, she must be a great person the way everyone talks about her. :D

Thanks Tally for those lovely lyrics. I must go on an H/Y lyrics mission myself. It's such a nice idea to dedicate them to Sher.

Speaking of Sher (HnM), I have asked her sister Holly if it's okay to post this update here as so many of Sher's Talk CSI friends post regularly in this thread. She said Sher is happy for me to do that, so here it is:
Sher underwent surgery on Wednesday at 2 P.M. EST and didn’t get out until 9 P.M. EST. She’ll be in ICU for several weeks before getting a room in the ER for several more weeks. Her surgeons have told us, that she’ll be out of the hospital and at 100 % within 3-4 months. That is, after post-op, physical therapy, and possibly a spinal tap. She’s been all brave and wonderful during this time and sends everyone her love.


For the next year or so afterwards, she’ll have to wear a back-brace and limit her physical activity. This means she’ll have to cut karate classes for a while, yoga poses, and limit her golf games, as well as her insanely long morning runs. However, when the year is over she can do all those things again. This is good.


Also, the good news is, this will be the last major surgery she’ll need done.

So glad to hear that Sher's surgery went well. Wow, a long recovery time, that's got to be hard. We miss you HnM and no matter how long you're gone you're always welcome back. Thanks for posting that Lucy.

I actually sent them my e-mail and was written back today that Corey Miller and Ann Donahue have officially confirmed that Sofia will be in the premiere.

Also much to my excitement and suprise Ann D wrote me back via snail mail. Just got the letter like an hour ago! An excerpt of it:

I'm sorry but I'm mortally offended by HER choice of words aka "...any kind of resentment fans may be having..." and the unbelievably lame "What we were trying to do was highlight the Horatio without Yelina." Give me bloody strength! I so bet Grandpa's farm that this was NOT what Sofia was told last summer when they shoved her through the infamous Miami Revolving Door.

I wish they would just SUCK IT UP and SPIT IT OUT that they made a horrendous mistake by tossing Sofia out in the manner they did last summer; that S4 was an experimentation gone horribly wrong; that in S4, Miami lost it's way, became crap on toast and discovered new levels of scripting and acting hell; even Horatio was transmogrified into an first class twit par excellence! ALL this travesty just so they would have us believe that they were trying to sell us a season of higlighting Horatio sans Yelina??! Puh-leeze.

Newsflash AD, Sofia has a new tv series! :rolleyes:

*fuming on Sofia's and our behalf for the utter waste that was S4*

Horatio without Yelina, urm I'm confused what were the first 10 episodes of season 1 showing us :confused:

But it is good news to have confirmation, I'm also looking forward to seeing Ray Jr again :)
 
I'm looking forward to seeing Ray Sr. again. I love love love Dean Winters.
Hopefully Ray Jr. won't have those killer eyebrows next season. XD

But I love Yelina and Horatio. I'm really looking forward to having her back next season.
