Hi people how're all of you? It's been a long time since I came to TalkCSI. I've been busy with work and life. And now it's time to say goodbye. I thought of saying this in the 'Miami Welcome thread' but thought it's better to say it here because this is my fav. thread and the one I come to most of the time. I'll be travelling for about a month(no internet) and after will be concentrating on my work. So I'm not sure if I'll be back, but I certainly hope so. So I'll bid my farewell for now and keep the Horatio-love burning!!! :cool:

zippy, sorry to see you go and thanks for letting us know what's happening in your real life. I was wondering where you had got to! :( I really hope you will visit us when you get the chance. All the very best out there in the real world. :) We'll miss you.

That sounds like a great idea Lucy. And my gosh, you wrote a bunch of that in your notebook? Your hand must have been tired :eek:

:lol: Yes, it was! I also had to keep pausing the dvd to get it all noted down. It took ages, but I'm a slow writer! I wrote it out for a friend who didn't have the dvds and sent her that part of the transcript. I will try to transfer my scribbled notes to my pc when I get some time. ;)

Oh, I cannot wait to have time to start to write transcripts.
1) my handwriting very messy. When I make "what to buy" list for store, takes forever to figure out what it says (when in the store=
2) Understanding the spoken English :(
3)Points when you know what the words mean but cannot find the Finnish word :(

I've already got the commentary of 'Dispo Day' typed up this morning. It took me three hours, but I got it finished. :) You know what I was thinking? Perhaps we could have a thread dedicated to transcripts of commentaries. That way fans can discuss the commentaries. I don't know, I just thought it might be an interesting idea.

In the meantime, I've got some Horatio pics to keep us going in here.

That sounds like a great idea. :) I'm also very impressed with your quick work on 'Dispo Day'! I wish I could be so efficent on that score. If only I didn't have to work for a living! *sigh* If we had a thread like that, we could all contribute what we can. For now, I will type up my 'Blood Brothers' extract. I have to confess though, Danny Cannon bores me senseless! I'm not sure if I have the desire or inclination to write down everything he says!
His work is brilliant, but his commentary....

Thanks Lucy :D And I'm very fond of the last picture. That's the Horatio I knew and loved. *sigh*

And as for the Dispo Day commentary, there are some great insights into Horatio's character and it was very interesting to listen to. And as for the Witness to Murder commentary, unfortunately my disk is not liking me right now so I won't be able to write that one up. :( It had some great stuff about Horatio.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I actually was kinda surprised as well that this name was free. I first tried Lt Horatio Caine, but that 1 was already taken. So i just removed the Lt and that worked.....ah well lucky me ;)

:lol: I know exactly what you mean! The 'Blood Brothers' commentary is so enjoyable, but I just wanted Danny Cannon to be quiet and let Ann D talk!

And I never would have thought I'd hear someone say they'd rather listen to Ann Donahue over Danny Cannon. Of course, I've heard the commentary for Blood Brothers and I feel the same way, oddly enough.

I have to tell ya, I have this guy on msn who just invited me over to his cabin for the weekend and he's much older than me and he creeps me out and I was tempted to hide behind Horatio. :lol: Well, figuratively speaking.

In hindsight, that is surprising, but before the debacle that was Season 4, some of us had alot of respect for Ann D's writing. Season 3 was a bit shaky at times too. She has some major redeeming to do now! ;)

Very true Lucy. I just have to remind myself that she wrote 'Blood Brothers'. Everytime I see her name credited I ask myself, "What happened?" And hopefully she redeems Horatio's character in season five. *crosses fingers*
