Re: Horatio's Thread #5 - Will The Real Horatio Please Stand
zippy and Pusher, you're welcome for the caps though hopefully I am not scaring everyone away with my long posts
zippy, I am sorry to hear about your Grandma. And Pusher, I understand what you say - my Grandma was in hospital for almost 3 weeks before she suddenly passed away, and it wasn't until she'd gone that I realised how much I wish I'd told her I love her and how wonderful a Granny she had been to me ever since I was born. I'd spent all my visits to her in hospital trying to be strong for her and my Grandad.
I admire Horatio for being so strong to be able to tell Belle this tragic news. That must've been a tough scene to film though it just makes me love H more and more, like he is the perfect man
Ooohh, I loved that too! Whoever thought up that line is a God. It's so sweet that scene, yet so sad somehow too
This is such a difficult case for H, and it puts him through a lot as we see him go through a spectrum of emotions to solve the case. Like here where he tackles a potential suspect in a dangerous tone (I smiled at that - I like it when H gets tough with the suspects ). And I like this too, when he's interviewing the suspect in his office and gives him a dangerous smile *quivers*
Towards the end of the epi, I imagine it must have also been difficult for H when he finds out Belle is covering for someone at the company, and he has to be firm but gentle with Belle.. Also hard for him when Belle tells H 'there's not much time' yet he smiles at her anyway, like he's trying to be strong for her.
Finally though, H serves justice to the culprit, and I adore this last scene where he sits with Belle. You can see he is so sorry about what has happened to her, what she is going through, and that she will soon be gone It's so sweet they way he is so attentive to her - when she says 'Horatio?' and he says 'Yes?', you can tell he is really listening and that he really cares, they tone in which he says 'yes'...just so...awwwww.
Yep, that's our real H there.

love this sweet chat between H and this woman - innocent victim:
W: Did you know Horatio was the first CSI?
H: He was... the what?
W: In Hamlet. When Hamlet was poisoned and dying, he asked his
best friend Horatio... to tell the world who murdered him.
H: Okay, I'll tell the world.
*sigh*
