"Happenstance" Discussion **Spoilers**

In rewatching it, Cath did bet him a dollar that somehow the deaths were related and in a way they were, they were killed by the same man.

And Super Dave! I totally forgot to mention Hodges..wow, I guess he really thought he deserved that "A" it makes me shudder to think what he'd do if he had gotten a lower mark than a "B". :)

I can't remember the exact quote, but...

Warrick: Turns out there's more than meets the eye.
Greg: She's a transformer?

CLASSIC.

Oh, Warrick was talking about the memory stick, that it was more than met the eye, and Greg says "It's a transformer?"

I'm pretty sure he was talking about the memory stick, another great scene!

That was it. Thanks speakerset. :)

What did Gris say was a federal offense that Cath was doing?

I also liked the naughty drawer exchange hehe.

Im so glad im not the only one who feels this way! SERIOUSLY, I've had it up to my eyeballs with the person who keeps writing that in! I just wish Icould get through one episode without being angry...but now on to the things i liked:
-Nick singing :D His voice made me weak. :)
-Greg working-he's such a trooper, I really love him more than ever now (if thats possible :p )
-Wendy and Mandy!
-Hodges made me giggle once again!
-And Cath and Gil had cute moments-the bet was so funny! love those two. :D

I agree.

The end ruined the whole ep for me. It was unecessary and a waste of time. It was so nice to finally see him work with other people instead of being attached to her hip.

maybe there is hope that the show can be redeemed

She ripped a dollar bill in half - because they each were half right.
At least they didn't have Gil totally winning this time. They always make him as the one who's always right. At least they let Cath be right this time as well.

Well.. on this ep. wasn't a rip-roaring one like past ones.. OK..I liked the beginning with the overivew of the Wynn Hotel.. it's awesome.. and Grissoms oepening line ""Every murder has two stories" and his line "We continue to perform the routines in our life..till our death"' good one..the twin thing weird. the whole idea. strange. and another sister as well.. ..Nick singing  cute.. not bad..the mentally wigged out mother.. and Hodges, sickening as usual. Sofia was good.. she definately needs a new hairdo. or a new style..same old same old.. :( it was nice to soo Warrick more.. and him and Greg.. no camraderie at all..and the "fake" newspaper The Vegas Globe :D there's two papers here.. the Las Vegas Review Journal & The Las Vegas Sun..... Archie on top of his job.....Brass and his great interogating tactics.. and that creepy guy who came out of nowhere.... but for me I loved the ending with Gris and Sara.. him reading his deep literature..and her finishing the crossword puzzle word.. and then with her cute smile saying "I won't wait up".. once agan showing the audience that their together.. and she looked great.. she's HAPPY
clap.gif

.. he'll have to tell her soon, about leaving for his "sabbtical".. :( the ep. was a bit flat for me.. like "Toe Tags"' not up to par.. ..like some of the other eppies so far..

WYNN HOTEL/CASINO

- "Misanthrope". "I won't wait up". I agree with whoever previously mentioned trouble in GSR paradise...

- The "naughty drawer" was a nice touch...Greg's comment was reassuring - underneath the suit, the bruises and the angst, he's still our Greggo...

- Excuse me. Hodges wizzed on a prof's car door handle over a grade? Come on. In JuCo I was on the softball team, and once I went up to my Environmental Science prof's office in my full uniform (cleats and all) with an aluminum bat and asked, "So, ah...what did you say I was getting on the mid-term?" If you're gonna (bleep) with a teacher's car, at least show some imagination...

- Nick sings Manilow. I don't know whether I'm hella impressed with George's singing voice or scarred for life that they picked that song. It came out when I was attending the aforementioned junior college and got played to death on the radio. I (bleeping) HATED it...course at the time I was into Deep Purple and Black Sabbath, so Barry wasn't gonna be my cuppa, no matter what...

- Okay. Do NOT tell me I'm the only one who thought Archie looked sublime tonight. (Nice closeups...Erica, I'm counting the seconds until those screen caps...) Can I get a witness? :D On top of his job indeed. I'm still holding out for a lab-rat-centric episode...

- The case itself was interesting in some ways, meh in others. I had a bad feeling about that guy from the first time he came on screen, though. Wasn't he the first of the "vultures" to show up when Brass and Warrick visited the paper?

I dunno, I'd give it a 7 or 8. Nice performances all around, and maybe if I watch it again it'll grow on me, but...we'll see.

Jeez Robin, you just had to say that! I haven't even watched the episode yet. LOL. I'll be as fast as I can, though. ;)

I liked it
so far one of the best of this season ( didn't like the last few minutes)
kinda reminds me of how CSI used to be
I was hoping that Grissom, as brilliant as he is, would figure out the twin thing
I am a mother of twins and yes twins do that kind of thing, wear the same clothes, eat the same things, and feel just about the same thing
I LOVED it when they showed the one twin Jill IMMEDIATLY after Amanda got shot
I thought... WOW she KNEW!!! and killed herself because her sister died! but the story went another just as intersting way.
I was good ok the BEST of this season

I think the look on Grissom's face had to do with him not looking forward to having to tell Sara that he is going to do the seminar, and therefore going to be on sabbitical for however long.

I agree - I think a lot of that was his hestiation on whether he should tell her, but obviously first whether he should take it. The main problem of course being that if he admits he wants to take a break, she might assume it's about her.

I thought her "I won't wait up" wasn't angsty at all, though. She seemed to pretty much be inviting him home for sex.

Me too! :D I haven't seen the whole episode either thanks for giving your thoughts about the bet scene Alyssa and speakerset. *iz still confused* :D
I also heard that they gave Doc Robbins a backstory in the ep, that he had a twin.. interesting!
