Heck yea! Ducaine is back, baby! I LOVED it when Calleigh said, "You got it" with that smile that she only gives to H. They have such a unique chemistry - I've missed it so much!
Now if we only could get H to smile, too. I mean, back in the day, H smiled virtually every time he was in the same room w/Cal - do you guys remember that? He was either smirking or smiling all the time around her!
I miss that smile! Maybe once this Riaz thing is dealt with he can get some closure and lighten up a bit again, especially around Cal. You can't help but smile around her - I don't care who you are! And esp. H! You know he loves her :drool:
OK, so I heard another song today that reminded me of our dynamic duo - it's SO PERFECT. I was watching "American Idol" (yea, I have no life), and Kimberley Locke came out and sang this song called "Fall" - this SOOO Horatio and Calleigh's theme for the next two episodes - check out the lyrics! (It would make a great video ::hint hint::

Man, I almost cried listening to that - pretty pathetic, huh? I just kept seeing that preview pic, and then flashing back to the "Lost Son" scene. You know Cal would be there for H in a heartbeat if he would just open up to her, like he did partly in "Under Suspicion." She would do anything he needed her to, and if he invited her into his private life, I believe she'd be more than willing to accept the invitation.
In my "perfect" CSI:Miami world, I would have H get news about Cal in Brazil, and be helpless to do anything. He would start flashing back to past conversations w/her - the "leather chaps" thing, the "all black" comment, the "hairspray" moment, and of course the hug. He'd just be sitting there, unable to act, and finally realizing how important she is to him, and how much more terrible it would be if he lost her. I don't know, I just want to see H show some emotion over Cal - anything! They had such a strong connection, and he needs to seriously think about how hard it would be to go on w/out her - he's been taking her for granted for way too long.
OK - so here's to hoping we get more DuCaine action next week! I can't wait!
