*waves* Helllllo SciFi Chick! Yeah, I'd like to see that episode too. I mean, even a spontaneous lick somewhere. C'mon. I can't get all my dirty thoughts from SKATE alone! If CSI Miami is the most watched TV show, then why can't H and Cal hook up? Yeesh!? It's like you have to draw them a map! Ex...

H: Turn left at the door.
Cal: Turn right at the door.
[Insert room with candles and insense]
H: Wow, I think I made a wrong turn at that wet floor.
Cal: So did I.
[Both walk away]

I mean, to us, we'd be all "HOLY CRAP! THEY TALKED!" But still. The teasing is too much. C'mon TPTB...

Hi GillianSGrissom and SciFiChick, you're most welcome to post here. :)

I don't think I can share any info on the latest DuCaine happening coz S5 is out of my reach now. So anything DuCaine(latest progress I mean..IF there're any :rolleyes: ) has to come from those of you in the US who get to watch it first.

Casp I was beginning to wonder what happened to you. And as for moi...I'm gonna disappear for a few weeks, hopefully not more than 2 weeks. If I ever get a chance near a computer, I'm gonna drop a post.

EE, S3 has less DuCaine moments compared to earlier seasons but then it's better than S4. Hagen...*shudders* :eek:...but at least you know, we get that very famous DuCaine hug and the DuCaine "goodnight-I-wanna-kiss-you-but-I-better-not-coz-dad's-watching-and-Ann D-says-no" part at the end of 'Under the Influence'.

Thank you guys for making me feel welcome. Someone mention a great shippy moment in Kill Zone, which just aired this week on A&E. It's one of my favorites.

Hello!! Good to be back!! Welcome to the newbies!! :) More DuCaine shippers, yay!! :D

"Under the Influence" has to be a definite highlight of S3, and it's definetly got much more than S4!! :rolleyes: Completely agree, zippy. I'm dreading seeing so little of Horatio and Calleigh working together in S4, and when they barely say 2 words to each other. :mad: I think I'll leap through the roof when I see "Under Suspicion" screaming "THEY'RE TOUCHING!!" :lol:

Just to talk S3, I really wish Calleigh was in the vault with H when the tidal wave hit in "Crimewave". Stay close, look out for each other... nothing romantic 'cos of the people, but you know when Horatio carried the injured woman, I could imagine Calleigh saying cheekily, "My turn, Handsome!" and leaping into his arms. :) He'd probably drop her in shock!! :lol: Only in my head... funny tho'!! :D

If anyone had to choose, what would be the best DuCaine season?? In terms of moments, episodes, etc.

For me, there are wonderful moments in every season so far, but S1 would have to have the most banter and working cases together. "Kill Zone", "Broken", "Evidence of Things Unseen" and "Slaughterhouse" to name but a few.
Tied in 2nd would be S2 and S3. "The Best Defense", "Death Grip," "Lost Son", "Under the Influence" and "After the Fall" were all memorable. And in 3rd is S4, with "Under Suspicion" being the only siginificant Horatio/Calleigh ep. I can't comment on S5 at the mo', but hopefully in a few weeks it'll rank better than S4.

So how bout you guys?? What season is your absolute fave, the one whose eppies you watch over and over again?? Let's hear 'em!! :)

It was in S4, in the ep "Double Jeopardy." I'm kinda uptight about personal info, so I'll leave it at that. :p

Woo hoo still managed to post something b4 I leave. :D EE that's a real difficult test for me. I have a bad memory when it comes to episodes but I think I love S1 and S2 best followed by S3. In S1, I think TPTB were planning to have Cal as Horatio's love interest after Megan left.

I think H said my name once. Don't remember which episode but I remember my heart going *thud*! :eek:

Do you all notice that Calleigh likes to start her sentence to H with "Horatio, you're not gonna believe this." ?? Just a random thought. :p

Yea....I admit him saying my name was rather .....well...fun. Then a friend *looks up to post above* made a wave file for me so I can hear him saying my name when the computer boots up and logs off. Hee heee....Oh...MYYYYYYY...

I have a feeling that they are not gonna put Horatio with anyone for a while. They probably think they gotta let him greive for Marisol. Oh well. We can dream and write FF right?

Horatio's sexy voice!! *thud* *blush* *drool* :D I ought to be at the David Caruso thread!! :lol: Back on topic, back on topic, 3 lines of good posting, 3 lines of good posting...

We all need time to grieve, and I think H needs a lot of time, both for Marisol and Ray. But I still think Cal will be there for him through it all, that she'll be a pillar of strength. She is just that already, isn't she? But totally, Rebecca, our imaginations are free to wander in FF! No limits!! There's already some really great FF about DuCaine out there, and Palm is a regular writer! Let's have more, more, more! Yet there is still the off-chance that the writers will take pity on us, right??... NAH!! :rolleyes:

"Going Under" is still a stand-out for me as 1. A great Calleigh eppie. 2. A ray of hope for DuCaine. and 3. The greatest DuCaine quote and thread title to date. Sounds pretty good to me. We haven't done too badly have we? "Always look on the bright side of life." But it's not without negativity.

Here's some angsty lyrics, which I think really describe S4 in the aftermath of "Under Suspicion", and how H and Cal have become a bit harder and tougher.(Well, from what I've seen recently).:

Anyhoo, as I asked, It LOOKS like by the silences greeted by the Season, there has be currently no interaction between the two, which is a shame. But as a response to the question, My favourite Season is the First 1. After That one girl left and up until Yelina came, when they were free to go nuts on each other.

My favourite episode has to be the one with The Leeches. Camp Fear or something. They had so many good moments together. With the leeches, them in the barracks. Ah. So much sexual tension, especially when they were wading in that hell hole mud swamp. It's the one episode that makes me squee at every moment! :3

I would be interested in reading this FF with Horatio and Calleigh. Where is this FF available anyway. I read some on CSI Forensics From Out of the Lab and Fan Fic Net C3 HC section. Am I missing some?

I hope its okay to ask this question on this thread. I will attempt to make 3 good lines of post.

Been watching reruns of CSI: Miami weekends and since they are in season one you do see a lot of Horatio and Calleigh together. I finally understand why people are saying because they really did tone down them working on cases together in later seasons. I look forward to watching next weeks Camp Fear because I will be aware of your comments about it Palm. Can't wait.

I say that because you can totally tell she has the hots for him. The way she giggles when he touches her and whatnot. And when their down on the barracks floor together scanning. It's so obvious they want to lock the door and Initiate some Commands, if you know what I mean.

It's seriously my favourite episode. Right behind it is the Porn Store one, because Cal and H in a porn store is way too funny. Plus, Speed's all "...Hot damn!" And they actually interact with the knife thing and all that :3

Ahh, "Camp Fear". :) That is pure attraction if I ever did see it. :) Someone once mentioned in one of the previous threads that you'd have to be completely trusting and relaxed around someone for them to touch your leg like Horatio did. If that were me instead of Calleigh(and oh, I wish it was!! :D) I'd have leapt through the roof of the Hummer, or I would have blushed bright red and would be incapable of coherent speech, except, "Umm, um, homina... um." *drool* I bet Cal relished that attention he gave her, tee-hee! :devil: Here's the cap of that touch, which makes me squeal and swoon every time I see it. Took me a while to find it!! Thanks to Leela for capping that scene, and this very special close-up!! Uh-oh, here I go!! *squeal* *thud*

Oh Lord. I really have to re-watch this episode. LMAO. If he was touching my ankle like that I would probably have trouble breathing. (hopefully my ashama would not kick in) But then I remember the leaches. I HATE THEM RIGHT UP THERE WITH MAGGOTS!. Was tramatized as a child by leaches so in reality I would be too freaked out by leaches to be affected by Horatio's touch. I would probably look at him with paniced eyes saying "Get em off me....Please."

I take it that this episode is the most Horatio/Calleigh shippy one?

But look at how he's like "....*slowly moving hand up*" Well, to me. It's hilarious! Naughty H. But yeah, I wouldn't say this is the most DuCaine episode, but it's one of my favourites because of their sexual tension and interaction. I actually would have to study all of the episodes to see which one is the most DuCaine.
I would say "Broken" but really, the only squeearific moment is when H is like "What do you want in your coffee..." and then you hear him laugh as she says "Sugar please." There are probably more better ones with them being all Ducaine-y, but I can't remember them right now.
