Tehee. Thanks Reebs! As for the whole... thing.

The only way I can put that setting (the darkness) into something GSR/Thanksgiving related would be them leaving to go out, or just coming back, and receiving the call to go meet Brass. :) But, I doubt they'd give us such a tasty morsel to chew on. ;)

And that's all I have to say about that... for now. :)

Oh, I doubt we'll get a Thanksgiving scene as well, but it would be nice. We've been pretty pleasantly surprised in... every single episode this season.

Okay - question:

Would you WANT a totally domestic scene between Sara and Grissom like at the end of Way To Go again, or do you feel as if it would just be too irrelevant to the show's direction?

eg. A Thanksgiving dinner scene.

I think that something like that would work as long as it was interupted by work. I mean, these two are always on call, it seems. I mean, I'd love to see an uninterupted moment, but it wouldn't work for this show. You have to keep it moving forward. Unless, of course, Gris was going to tell Sara about Williams... There's a thought.

Realistically, though, if we're going to get a domesticated scene, I don't expect it for a long time.

Maybe close to DOOOOOOOOM. That'd be an appropriate time. Get us all cozy and content in their little world before shattering it. Ah, angst. :)

So, depends, I guess. I definitely don't expect to see a domestic scene that has nothing to do with anything else in the show, eg: a case. When we got Sara and Grissom's first hand hold it was directly related to her DUI which was related to an arc they were developing for a while. Second hand hold? When we found out what the heck the first arc was all about. So, I think if they make it part of an arc, it'll work.

I'm rambling. Pumpkins.

I'd do the same. I think it would have to be like, a repeat Teri Miller moment only with Sara and Grissom BOTH getting up. Sort of showing why this relationship can be different for Grissom - why Sara gets it, and isn't offended when he puts his work first.

I don't think they'd be out at a restaurant.

I dunno... I really want to see him burn some tofurkey.

Ooh - that is a good theory, though - telling her about Williams over dinner. Something to soften the blow.

But even so, I think that Grissom's look at the end of the last episode is telling us he's now very worried that she's going to leave him. Read: Butterflied.

oh, i definitely would like him to NOT be decided yet. sort of "i received an invitation and i don't know if i should accept it. what do you think?" it would show that he respects her opinion, and he realizes it's something that will now affect two people, not only him. b/c, i don't how long it is, but it looks like a month or a bit less so it's a LONG time for people who are in a newly established relationship.

another thing, i would love to see Sara beaming after he comes back. the thing is: if we'll get a goodbye scene, i doubt we'll get one when he comes back; and if we won't get anything now, we will possibly get it later after his arrival.

i would really like to see them in a domestic situation. gee, i'd love that. him cooking something and she would come behind his back, try it out, he would look at her teasingly in a "don't touch this yet" way, and she would give him her 1000 wat smile.

i know, i know, it smells more like a FF than real show, but i can't help it. guys ... yes, i admit, i like OCC-ness on CSI.

but a scene a la Terri, you described would do too. i mean, i'll be good with whatever they'll give me. just give me SOMETHING.

I would love that, too. And I think that would be absolute best-case-scenario.

BUT... this is still Grissom. No matter how many veggie burgers he buys, pet names he has, or times he checks her ass, he's still going to be a tad socially slow.

You know what I want to see? This is adding on to your laughter scene. It's when Sara is ribbing him, and he's giving her the same grumpy/pouty boy face he's given the last couple of times, and she does something and he just cracks up.

I think that would be a great post-Williams moment to show that he really is relaxed again.

I haven't seen this promo thing people are speaking of, but I'm sure I will soon enough. I think the whole "Having GSR be cozy so they can CRUSH US AT ANY MOMENT LATER" thing would be just the kinda sick, twisted thing TPTB would live for, lol :(

I wish they made tofurkey in the shape of an actual roast turkey. Sure, that would probably negate the whole animal rights issue, having tofu shaped like an animal carcass, but still, Grissom behind the carving knife of that would be cool. Maybe, though, they could do a throwback to Happenstance and have Sara with a pumpkin pie and be like "Where you gonna sit now, MISTER? YOUR CUSHION'S IN MY PIE! EAT IT! *gang sign*"

...or not.

Anyway, not being American I don't think I can really gauge/judge how important the holiday would/could be to our geeks, to make an informed guess as to the likelihood of them specifically celebrating together (rather than just getting on with work and maybe having a tofurkey sandwich to mark the occasion). But I guess we'll see what happens tomorrow, now, won't we?

yeah, and i don't really know which i prefer better. on one side, the goodbye one could be sloooow and passionate and omg, and the hello one just a peck on the lips. one the other side, the goodbye one can be just a peck and the hello a huge make out. geez, i don't know how are they going to do it. i'm so damn curious and i can't WAIT for a KISSSSSSSSSS! *dies after a full realization of it hit me again*

There's nothing specific in the promo to make us think it's a GSR moment. It was a fanwank that someone made that he could possibly be taking a call while with Sara on Thanksgiving or something. But I suppose if Grissom *was* in a viewing room, it wouldn't make sense, because it sounds like the beginning of the episode.

I think that if Sara ever did that, I'd probably have to stop shipping.

Or say something really, really, really smutty about eating.

Which I'm sure Billy would ad-lib anyway.

Domestification of GSR is so hard to realize, I think, considering their lifestyle. Gosh, I want them to have to be called in from a date, someday. Riding in the car, Sara a little dolled up. Not too much, but a little. Maybe with that sexy curly hair from last week... and the boys could mention it, making Gris jealous. THAT would be awesome to see. Interrupt the date, I don't care. Just give me some Jealous Grissom fending off adoring men from his honey!

Yeah, but they're making a big point of showing that with the migraines and difficult cases, Grissom is retreating into his Hermit Shell and hibernating for winter (Re: Williams).

that would mean we'll finally get a bunch of continuity. but y'all know what? i have a feeling we'll get a kiss after he comes back. ya know, Christmas, his hiatus, it's gonna feel like this summer break again, but this time the cliffhanger will be more specific "a kiss or not a kiss". the thing is that we know it'll happen. it doesn't change the fact though, that i'll be shitting in my pants every day during the break.
