Are you saying in the first episode that Catherine and Nick discuss Sara and Grissom? I don't remember this spoiler at all - have I missed something?

As for the first kiss - I really don't know. I'd much rather hear about how they got here first. But in a strange way, a "Goodbye" or "Hello" kiss would probably be my favorite - making it clear that it's all so routine to them now.

I got to agree with you on the kiss it would be great to get that feeling the 2 are in some sort of routine plus it maintains a lot of the subtlty surrounding the relationship like in seasons past.

firstly i don't know if TPTB will accept to give us a passionate one, but oh boy, that'd be absolutely fabulous! i agree with Alyssa (welcome back btw) on it, we witnessed so much angsty tension between them, that they owe us a passionate release of it on-screen.

I agree. I think that TPTB will give us a kiss, but not exactly what we want. lol, most of us probably would like a full make-out session, but they aren't going to give it to us. They might show a quick kiss as one of them are leaving the scene, or something along those lines, but, knowing TPTB, well.. they are full of surprises, aren't they?

ETA: zigs, don't start me on Dean again. we agreed to share, remember? you can take the whole Lois though. and Perry White.

Who do I get then?! :p

ps: Zig, I have as much rights to Lois as you
Yeah, uh, NO YOU DON'T. Which one of us has Teri Hatcher's autograph? An original 1964 Lois Lane comic book? the nickname 'Lois Lame'? I DON'T THINK IT'S YOU! *sulk*

ETA: zigs, don't start me on Dean again. we agreed to share, remember? you can take the whole Lois though. and Perry White.
Yes, yes. *grumble* Even though I had him first. ;) Sully, you can have Jimmy Olsen. Either one, take your pick. But Lois, Perry, and half of Dean are mine. In fact, Adz, how about you have Dean and I have both Clark and Superman? Cool. Claims staked.

ANYWAY, I swear I can stay on topic. Right. So.

Well, so, Catherine and Nick aren't going out, right? So it's not like they're on a date. They're just a couple of friends hanging out together at a bar. So it's unlikely that, were Grissom to join them, he would have to come with a date. If Nick and Cath were a couple, that would be one thing. But since they're not, I really doubt that there's pressure on Griss to make it a "double date". And wasn't there a spoiler a while ago that said that the audience would be the only ones in on GSR being canon? I think they'll probably wait until sweeps to show another cast member finding out.

THIS IS THE THANKS I GET FOR GIVING YOU BACK YOUR LC OBSESSION? Well fine :p

*cries*

Alright, CSI -

Sarah, I agree with you that it would be nice to see a quick hello/goodbye kiss for the fact it'd be sweet to see they were in that kinda routine - but I'm not sure the writers/directors/actors would want to throw away the first onscreen kiss on something so brief.

Then again, with a show that's 'not about the relationship', you never know.

Zig, I agree with you that there wouldn't be pressure on Grissom to bring a date. Do we know what the event is meant to be, anyway? Is it a concert they're specifically going to, or a bar/club that just happens to have a famous artist playing in it (ala The Bait Shop in The OC or P3 in Charmed) - and why would they imagine that sort of thing would be Grissom's idea of a fun night out anyway? I can't imagine it's really his bag of chips - and I wouldn't think they'd think that either. Which makes me wonder why they were/are expecting him...But yes, you're also right that noone on the team is meant to be in on the fact GSR is canon when the season launches. It'll be great to see how they eventually find out!

theatresporter, in the script it says that Nick and Catherine were just going to a club, and the club announcer says that they got John Mayer to play that night, before his concert... And I remember that Marg said Catherine has suspiscions that Griss and Sara are together...

Yhank's ziggy for the video clip- great ;) CSI is on SPIKE all day- I'm sure you all already know that- I've got them all on tape- soo--a couple of pics from "WAY TO GO" ;)

oh, freakin' DEAL! :D btw is he still single??

and ok, now i see i'm out of discussion. spoilers are not for me, and the kiss topic seems to be done. let me think of something ...hmmmmmmmmmmmm... okey, i've got it.

good ol' i'm-gonna-predict-how-the-guys-will-react-and-what-they'll-think. i am gonna focus on Warrick, Nick and Greg in particular, since most of us agreed that Doc and Brass will be supportive. yeah i know we discussed it like a zillion times but just .. stay with me here. i've got new thoughts.

Warrick. i think he'll understand them the most. first, he got married just recently. for him getting married is as serious as for G and S to only get together. he probably dated a lot of girls but he became that serious only when it came to marrying. in GS's case, they know it's all or nothing. they simply CAN'T treat it as a fling, even if they don't plan to get married. another thing about Warrick is that he and Catherine seem to be attracted to each other so he also is able to put himself is their possition. that's why i think, Warrick will be the most supportive and understanding.

Nick. Yeah, well, Grissom saved his life (twice or more -Who Are You, GD) and his job (Assume Nothing if i remember correclty) and also taught him everything. Sara's his sister. I think he'll understand and just smile from time to time. i don't expect anything overreactive from him, i don't know if he'll even comment anything. even if, it'll be minor and just for the people to acknowledge that he's aware what's going on. and he'll stay proffesional. but if he'll be with Sara alone, he may be more talkative.

Greggo. that's a tough one. everybody knows he had a crush on sara. even griss. greggo also had feared grissom. if he still has both these feelings he can hide them well though. i can just so picture his totally surprised reaction on everything. on the other hand we don't know what had he been noticing all those years. there is one more thing: he actually stopped flirting with sara. when was the last time they did flirt? like flirt for real. ummm ... 4x4 maybe? that's a heck of a long time. he might've noticed something and didn't want to expose himself to jealous grissom. so he may be the one to actually say "i've seen this coming" out loud.

zigs, don't start me on Dean again. we agreed to share, remember? you can take the whole Lois though. and Perry White.

DUDE. DUDE. Did Adzix, um, did Adzix just diss the late greatness that was LANE SMITH?

That's it. You just went on my shit list.

It is kind of easy to lose sight of the fact that this isn't all about GSR, isn't it? CSI, I mean.

Well, the media seems to have lost sight of it as well, seeing as about 99% of the articles were all about the GSR and its possible competition with Grey's.

I think that Warrick will be the most impassive about it, but do remember that because of his marriage, he's likely quite wary of relationships in general. But perhaps because of that, he'll be able to kind of step back and say, "Good for you for going with your heart".

Greg I think would be caught somewhere between the jealousy of losing Sara, whom he has always had a soft spot for, and relishing in the idea of teasing Grissom mercilously.

Nick is just a big ol' sap. So I think he's going to be the most sunshine and daisies about the whole thing.

I can just imagine Nick trying to give Grissom romance advice. "Now, man - you don't wanna give her yellow flowers, even if she likes the colour, because yellow just means friendship, and you DON'T wanna be givin' Sara any more mixed signals. Alright, now when you go out to dinner, you've gotta remember..." etc etc etc.

I think Greg might be slightly in awe of Grissom, actually. being a sprightly young pup who probably knows how cute-as-hell he his - having his dream girl swept off her feet by this older geek - he'll probably be like "How'd he do it?!". I mean, he already has a slight hero-worship complex with Grissom already (whenever Gris isn't scaring him, that is) so this might tip the scales to full building-a-shrine-for-you-now adoration of the man.

I think you're right (Sarah) that Warrick'll be the most impassive about it. He's been witness to enough GSR moments over the years without making a deal out of those - I think he'll be really happy for them. As you say: "Good on you for going with your heart".

Well about the kiss im going for the hot, passionate, desperate, tounge-wrestling kiss  but since TPTB are too scare to do it i'll settle for just a passionate one :p

Yeah they did say that on this season the audience is going to be one step ahead of the CSI about Sara and Grissom but in the interviews Marg and George both said that they're characters might suspect somehing but they dont know so we the audience are the only ones that know.

I'd rather have it that way for the first little bit. Just strange sort of smiles off of random comments, secret looks towards each other. Like the expression on Grissom's face from the script of Toe Tags when Warrick talks about what a hassle women are - it says his mental thought is "Sara's not a hassle". Cute, but I kind of see him doing it with a smirk, if it makes the final cut.

I also picked brief kiss, though I'd love romantic smut lol.

I do think Greg would be kinda hurt with his crush on Sara. Warrick and Nick I agree with Sarahyma. And lol at theatrespotter.

What about Brass, no one mentioned him yet. Or Hodges. I think Hodges would find a smart comment to make, he seems to do that a lot.

Cath...hmm...you think she might question if it's wise for them to be together because of the job situation? I'm not sure really though.

Ecklie is the one who would soooo not be happy. And the one they'll have to fear the most.

...In a good way, right? Right? :( *cries at the thought of being laughed at* ;) :p

Whoa, I totally didn't know about that Grissom/Warrick interaction in Toe Tags. Guess those spoilers came out while I was away. Anyway - I figured since I had to go back and find it, I might as well link to the spoiler post (ETA: I hope that's allowed/the link works?) if anyone else wanted to (re-)read it. Sara's not a hassle? Awesome :D

Yeah i read that a while back and i was excited too! Although does he say the words?... i mean to us the "audience" cause i dont think he tells Warrick right? So he tells us or does he just make one of his expression faces anyone know?
