The image of Catherine as a saloon girl amuses me - I can so see her packing a rifle in her saloon girl gear.

That being said, I think someone wrote a fic that was CSI set in the Wild West...

I think that was CSI:NY... I remember reading it. There was a female character that I think would be perfect for Cath. An unconventional bar owner with sharp shooting skills-- she always carried a Stetson, quick wit, sharp tongue and hell of a temper when she gets patronized by men. That's the way I see Cath 'cause she can kick ass as well as the rest of the men. Now, how 'bout Gil...? Ooh, maybe he oughta be sheriff!

Does anyone know where I can find screencaps (if there are any) of one of the Billy/Marg kisses? I need it for a poemwall I'm doing with all (or most) of the couples I ship from the CSI world. The poemwall theme is "first kiss". :lol:

That's what I was thinking... he could be the kind of sheriff who goes where the facts lead him, but is still ready to draw his gun when needed. I agree with Anne... I'm thinking someone should write a CSI fic set in the Wild West. They already did it for CSI:NY, so why not for the original CSI?

I think someone should write a fic with the original CSI in the Wild West too *cough* hint to all you fan fic writers *cough*.....all this talk about Gil being sheriff reminds me of Billy's role in 'Young Guns II' when he played Sheriff Pat Garrett.

^ Hehe actually, the fic Anne was talking about does exist. It's titled Jackpot. Gil is a foreign cowboy who settled in the town Jackpot and fell in love with the widow who owns the saloon in town. Of course that widow is Catherine. You girls can find the fic at graveshificsi.com. I think it's rated CSI-3. It's a well-written one. Apart from the adventure, there are also loving, tender, hot love scenes. :devil:

Gil sure wouldn't mind a lapdance. In fact, I think Cath has performed it numerous times for him...in private. :lol:

Hello everyone, I'm back, hehe I come back to all this talking about Gil and Cath in the wildwest... :lol: Looks like I've missed out on a lot, but I don't mind, I'll catch up with you all. Like Erica said, I'm sure Cath has given Gil a lap dance many times before... I think it's probably a favourite hobby of both of their's. I don't doubt that... methinks Gil is very appreaciative of Cath's skills! Besides, Cath being a former exotic dancer is part of what makes her more interesting. He's not gonna hold that against her... not when he's on the receiving end!

Thanks for telling us about that fic Erica, I've began to read it, and it's a really good one, it's interesting imagining Gil and Cath somewhere other than Vegas, it's great.

Awww, now I've got this cute little image in my head of Gil and Cath tucking in their little "bug-baby" with a kiss goodnight. Their baby, or babies, would definately have one of those or little shirts that say "Don't Bug Me".:lol:
