I actually liked it. It reminded me of some of the episodes from years ago. Just good old plain CSI.

Maybe tptb finally realized how odd it is for everyone to have moved on without them showing any more references to Warrick, so they threw that in there. It didn't work or add much to it, in my opinion. Either let it go or show us a more realistic portrayal of how Nick and the team would have been affected by it.

Maaaaaaaaan I can't wait to see Season 9!! For the ogling AND the science!! It'll probably come out on dvd before it even shows here!

I liked it too. A little slow the first 20 minutes or so, but it turned out well. A little OT, but it was good to see Nick and Greg working together, less Riley, and the Cath/Grissom walk.

I know, my jaw about dropped when I heard Nick say "Warrick" - like awww, they remembered! They remembered about Nick 'n' Rick . . . how sweet. But I agree that tptb need to decide what direction they're going with it. Seriously, I could take Nick seeing Warrick's ghost better than I can take his cluelessly going on like nothing happened.

Oh you know CSI when it comes to Nick-no continuity please-that's only for Grissom and Sara.

Anyways, I sent a PM to some people about a funny You Tube video where a British comedy troop imitates CSI-there's a gentleman in the video sporting a major pornstache so we know who is he imitating!

I can't put a link here because it's uh....let's say..not PG-13, so if anyone wants the link just PM me and I'll send it to you. It's very funny.

Nick with an English accent though..:drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:

And speaking of that pornstache. Do you all ever check out the Urban Dictionary? No? Maybe?

Well, you should check out this entry  in the Urban Dictionary!

Now, as for the episode, I'm glad Nick finally mentioned Warrick. Though David Rambo said he wouldn't forget Warrick. I'm sure that'll be the last time Nick mentions him though.

I was glad that Nick mentioned Warrick also. Nick must be trying to push some feelings away or just be all professional and unemotional. He's gotten more like that this season.

He's had too much of Grissom's influence. Maybe once he's gone Nick will revert back to his former self. Mr. Roboto (unemotional Nick) so needs to disappear! :shifty:

 Now I have that song going in my head. But yeah it does seem like at times this season that Nick and Gil have switched personalities some. It's just weird.

Yeah me too. It's Nick's new theme song.

My gut instinct-or my eternal flame of hope-tells me Nick's going to get a decent storyline.

It's probably been there for a while, but other things have come up such as Jorja leaving, Gary leaving and Grissom.

Hope so, really hope my instinct is right on this one.

I'm interested in seeing how Nick and this new guy interact.

Hopefully this guy will respect Nick's experience and empathic way of doing his job. Since Nick is his superior.
Or the tptb will just go back to Nick being being an idiot for no reason.

Then again maybe Nick will have a problem with new guy because Nick has so repressed his grief over Warrick and he's mad Warrick's been replaced. Then Nick can cry again:) (I'd only be happy about that because GE is such a good actor)

I agree about Nick having a lot of repressed grief over Warrick which makes him put himself in dangerous situations. I only just saw Let it Bleed and he put himself at danger by running after that guy in the beginning and was reprimanded (a bit;)) by Grissom, and Nick was so casual about it.

I really hope TPTB will have a great storyline for Nick soon, he deserves it.

'Kay, I got a question. I was perusing some fanfic just now and I wondered - where does the notion that Nick is an anal-retentive obsessive compulsive cleaner come from? It's a recurring theme in Nick stories but I don't remember any episode that would've said so or given that impression. The only thing I can think of is Stalker, where we actually see his home, but I don't recall anything about his apparent need to be uber-clean.

Thoughts, anyone?
