Nick was angry holding that gun on McKeen, and when people are angry and hurt - even meat-and-potatoes guys - they do irrational things. I think it probably occurred to Nick in a flash that he could do it, but just as quickly thought of Warrick and how he wouldn't have wanted it that way.
That's what I was trying to say earlier. I think Nick was pushed to the point, but either fate or some vestige of rational he had left kept him from killing him.
Oh yeah, he was definitely tempted. That's probably why his hand was shaking, he was fighting the temptation to just avenge his friend's death by shooting the slimey :censored: who killed him.
That's exactly why his hand was shaking. He was definitely fighting temptation. That's what makes George such a great actor.
Now remember, even though it would be out of character for Nick to shoot McKeen,
everyone is capable of killing someone. That includes, all of us, and yes, our Nicky too. And like I said before, he had to pull the trigger, he just had to have that release.
I also loved the intensity of Nick's voice when he told Grissom and Catherine it was McKeen. There was no "I think it was McKeen", it was a definite, "McKeen". Nick knew it was him and no one else. You could tell, right then and there, Nick wanted to leave that lab, find McKeen, and take care of him. I believe it took every ounce of strength for Nick, not to leave that lab and go rogue. Which, I think, added to the whole gun on McKeen scene.
And that was another great scene between Nick and Brass. Now with Grissom leaving, maybe Nick and Brass will have that camaraderie and friendship that Grissom and Brass had.
Ok, so lets get to some lighter things and some drool moments from last night's episode, shall we?
Now who, while watching the episode, was thinking, ooooh that would make a great cap? Oooooh so would that. And that, and definitely that?
Wow, a whole episode of Open Nick , tight jeans (nope not goint mention my fetish in the picture of the team. Nope, not going to mention it :devil
, a suit, lots of chocolate, etc. etc. This episode, like Snakes, could become it's own porn.
I said it once and I'll say it again: George did a FANTASTIC JOB last night and so deserves an Emmy for his performance. Again, he was the eyes and ears for the audience. And those facial expressions? You knew exactly what was going through his mind.
