Just a funny story here.

We're boarding a dog named...Nicky Stokes--no seriously that is his name..not the family name..but someone loves Nick as much as we do and named their spaniel dog Nicky Stokes because he's got beautiful brown eyes.

Nice dog, except he hated me the first day until I fed him some cookies now he just hates the dog across from him-a Labradoodle named Farley Doodle-I'm serious about that too..people don't pick normal names for the pets.

So everytime I take Nicky Stokes out for his walk, I have to step in between him and Farely Doodle's cage because if I don't Nicky goes tearing over to the cage and fight with the other dog. I can't put them in cages next to each other because then they snarl at each other through the bars all day. It's quite funny.

I say, "Nicky you're not like your namesake you're such a rude dog."

Spaniels are contrary dogs anyways.

:lol::lol::lol: It's so funny! I like it!

He just looks at me ashamed and walks to the corner of the cage and sulks.

Personally, I think Farley Doodle causes the fights. He's kind of the Kevin Federline dog.

Now we need a dog named Warrick to come and I can recreate the fight scene, but I'd probably get in trouble because Nicky Stokes would probably kill Farley Doodle (Kevin Federline).

Spaniels are contrary dogs anyways.
Aww, that's so cute, congrats on the new dog, and what a cute name. :D

myfuturecsi thanks for the the story :) Very cute. I wonder how many pets out there are named after our favourite CSI :)

Hey ladies, it seems lately I've been the George tv movie alerting person. I have another one to alert you to:

May 27 12PM Eastern time Lifetime Movie Network (not the same as Lifetime) will be "The Spring" I've never seen it so I'll watch it even if it's terrible I can always hit the mute button and just stare at George

Princess The Spring is not a bad movie in my opinion. There are worse ones out there. I bought it last summer and it was cheap. I think I got it for about $10. I may actually re-watch it on of these days to so some caps :)

the spring is really cheesey, but its worth it even if for george only. he is so cute in that movie :) i should watch that again soon...

i would totally name an animal nicky stokes, but i dont think id have the guts to do it because people would probably look at me weird  there was a beagle named nicholas here on campus (he got adopted) and i would call him nicky. he was so sweet, he deserved the name :D

and Jacquie, thats quite the naughty avvie you saucy little minx! :p

I don't get that station either! :(

But they do have The Spring at my local Blockbuster so I could always rent that one. :)

Susan

Well, I'd watch just about anything to get my George fix. And it's kind of fun watching him be someone other than Nick....even though I love my nicky.

Yes Jaquie that is naughty, naughty avi you have. Funny though!!!

In fact, I do have a rabbit named Nicky. I got him the day after Grave Danger and well..I just called him Nicky, although originally it was Nickadee because my friends said 'Nick' was too masculine for a bunny, but I got tired of calling him Nickadee, so it became then Nicky or Nick. He's got big brown eyes. He's kind of weird rabbit, his best friend is a pop box which he likes...to..how do I say this cleanly--BOP..as he is not neutered. It's quite funny. I'll sit there and say, "Having fun there Nicky!!! You show that pop box whose the dominant one here!!! Thatta boy.."

Although he will be soon..he'll be saying bye bye to his little 'nickies'.

Now I don't know what is wrong with my avatar. We all know how difficult it is to scratch that spot on the back and Nick is just enjoying the pleasure of having that spot scratched

:guffaw: You crack me up Captain! I know exactly how bad those itches can be. ;)

Thanks for the info Princess about the movie and don't forget I posted that Soapnet is gong to show Just A Walk in the Park again on June 22nd. This time I'm getting the whole thing taped.

I'm loving all the pets named Nicky, sounds like a perfectly perfect name to me.

Posting a link to CSI video on CBS.com where "students from Capilano College Film Centre take us behind the scenes for a look into the making of CSI". There are four 5-6 minute videos that look like they were made last season, but...George does the voice over :) just a little bit each video but still!

They look like a DVD extra feature, but I've not seen it before.

Complete props to Wojo for the links in the Eric picture thread.

bookgirl and Wojo thanks for the links. It was soooo good to hear George :)

bookgirl I've never seen them before and I do have all the dvd's so there must have been done for the school only. Good job students :)

Well Jacquie as you probably remember, I have 8 dogs in total (my chinese crested and Evel died a few months back :() while they're named a variety of names, mostly from country singers and Nascar Drivers, I do have a American Bulldog named Nick and a parrot named Stoked, I couldn't bring myself to name him Stokes

Thanks for the video's bookgirl. Those were interesting. Waited until I could watch them on the good computer. :) I wonder how many of the extra's work on the set (like Larry Mitchell). He may not have been interviewed but it was nice just hearing his voice.
