When I was pulled over it was for going 80.

Hence, the girls give me my nickname. :shifty::shifty:

and after all these years we still call you speedy :)

Yes you do. :)

So Sharp posted a video of Marg in the spoiler thread. One of the ask the CBS star ones. She talkes about Nick and George at the end. No spoilers, but it was sweet.

Now when is George going to one of those? :shifty:

Sorry for George and his family on loosing his dad. Lost mine back in '96 from ALS. :(

Here's the link. It's from Shane so it should be viewable to all. It's the last question she takes and she talks about the deleted scene from The Pilot - she thinks it was the first scene they ever shot!

I second that Speedy. I want George to do one. :)

Susan

Thanks for the info Speedy and blackflag :)

I wish George would do one too... but with him it should be at least one hour long

It was sweet that Marg said she has such a great time with George on set :adore: Somewhat it shows in the great relationship their characters Cath and Nick have :) For me it's the closest relationship Nick has on the show after Warricks's death.

Add me to the list of people who wish George would do a question and answer too.

Love what Marg said about Cath and Nick. I want to see more of that friendship before she leaves. She only has so many episodes left and she's always working with DB.

Yeah, I agree. We need another case that just Cath and Nick work on. Especially when she makes Nick blush.

After all, he's one of her 'boys'. ;)

I just finished watching reruns of the two-part "Grave Danger" episodes. George should have gotten an Emmy nod for these. His time in the box buried alive was acted so perfectly. So intense. I felt like I was watching it all for the first time all over again. Bravo to Mr. Edds.

Oh I so agree! :D

They really need an episode together before Cath leaves. It has been some time since we got one :( I so like the two of them together. There is something special about their relationship... it changed over the years, just like Nick changed over the years... Nick got older and matured... and so did his' and Cath's friendship. At the beginning it was more Cath helping Nick being his own man and doing things for himself. She protected him and helped him... these days they help each other... and in some episodes it seemed as if Nick was finally able to help Catherine out more. I really like that :)

I hope that even though Marg's time on CSI is coming to an end and after the sad news we got about Nick's dad, we still get a nice final episode with the two. It would mean a lot to me :)

100% agree! Any "buried alive" shows or movies since that just pale in comparison.

And I saw "Bodies in Motion" this afternoon. Again, George was so good with the followup too. :)

Wonder if our guy is back on the set? Since they're on the last day of epi 10, probably not. Don't think he'll be in that episode.

Will he be back tomorrow to film Marg's last episodes? I hope so, but more importantly, I hope he's doing okay. :(

Me too! I was thinking about it a lot the past days... will he be back? Will he come to film Marg's last epi? And what about the special role he was supposed to play in her exit arc? So many questions... and I feel almost selfish to even think about George being on set filming CSI, after all there are more important things in the world like being there for your family :(

I just hope he is getting all the support he needs these days and finds a way to cope.

Sometimes keeping busy is better.

I have to say that George's father seemed like a great man. And in my opinion his son seems to take after him in many ways. :)

Found this in a George Eads search today. There's 2 stories there. If you read the second one down I think it tells us where the chain George was wearing on "The Talk" came from. :luvlove:

When Eads, who spent the last years of his life in Salado, was diagnosed with cancer in February, the former Marine knew he was in for the fight of his life, lifelong friend Robert “Buck” Harris said.

So Eads contacted the Marine Corps and arranged to have combat dog tags shipped to him, one of which he gave to his son, actor George Eads, the other he wore around his neck.

Aww :adore:

Thank you for posting that, blackflag :)

It was nice to know more about the chain George was wearing.

His dad really seemed to be a great man and it makes sense that George created Nick after his dad.

That's awesome! :) Thanks for that info. I had been wondering about the chain.

As sad as it is, I am glad they knew ahead of time and could sort of prepare for it. I think that makes it easier somehow.

It is awesome and you know George will never take those dog tags off. How sweet that his dad sent him one. What a special thing to do. :adore:
