George/Nick: Texan Charm #12

I loved Nick's scene with Mandy too, and I like him working with Morgan - the two work well together.

Can't say that I am looking forward to next week's episode - looks like yet another Nick-lite one. I know it is an ensemble cast, but jeez, I'd like to see him more often than not. Seems like DB and Morgan get more screen time than him, but that is just my opinion.

And, can't say I was a fan of the purple shirt.

Oooo...purple is my favorite color! Probably why I liked it. I missed Sara this week...kind of thought maybe she and Nick would have the other case, but oh well. Next week...not a fan of the "newbie in trouble" storyline, but we'll see. I can stand a few Nick-lite episodes after all the Nick we've had in the past....but it better not last too long. :shifty: :lol:

Purple is not my favorite color (I'm a blue person ) but George/Nick looks good in anything. :drool: Honestly, I did like that shirt back when I saw it in the Entertainment Tonight video.

I liked that Nick was with Morgan on the 'B' case (I'm not much for Old Vegas so I was glad he had nothing to do with the 'A' case). Since he outranks Morgan he's the lead but I like the way he does it. Like you said Smokey, he let her do her thing while he did his and then they came together. It was kinda like the way Catherine did it with him in the early seasons.

Loved the scene with him and Mandy, almost forgot Morgan was there. :lol: I'm forever hopeful we get another scene where he sings to her, especially since we now know George is willing to do it again. :thumbsup:

I missed some of the Nick part of the show last night after a long and busy day at the store I kept falling asleep but I will say that Nick's voice did bring me out of my slumber I'll have to rewatch the show today but the part I did see last night was good

Blue is my favorite color too, but the dark purple was very agreeable to me, it just needed to have one more button undone :devil:

I agree, although I mentioned it in the other thread rather than here. When has George talked about his willingness to sing again? I must have missed that? It would be a nice bit of continuity to have a scenario like that again.

Nick works well with Morgan, and she acted perfectly normal for someone who is just friends with a co-worker. He sort of coached her, but did it in a very believable manner without making her feel like he was bossy, if you know what I mean.

I just hope they mix it up, I would like to see Nick working cases with everybody. Nick was in this ep more than I was afraid he would be, thanks to the promo, and I really hope next week is not Nick-lite just because it's centered around Morgan. There seems to be a prominant amount of Greg, Ecklie and D.B. from what we've seen of the new pics and promo last night.

George Eads: I sing a lot walking around the set — I’ll find a spot to sing again. I had suggested that in the past — how about some Loverboy?

It also has the reason why I don't think Nick is really bothered by having to move out of the office. George didn't want him to have it. It's also why it wasn't just Nick's office.

Nicola (uk): Nick’s comments about being the new bug guy angered some fans, why do you think Nick has chosen to take over that roll?

George Eads: Again, that’s a great question. I’d love to say I had something to do with that. That’s what the script said, that was the direction the writers wanted the character to go. I did tell them I didn’t want Grissom’s office, but they wanted the character to have it anyway. They said they would write in that Nick had a problem with it. I always respectfully keep Grissom’s pig behind my desk. I know there will never be another bug man but all I can do is try to make him proud. The torch must be carried.

And it's also where I remembered George saying he wanted to direct. (As well as in that TV Guide back in season 8.)

kdala: Would you like to do some directing or scriptwriting in the future, for either CSI or non-CSI related projects?

George Eads: Yes really on all those. Now I see things when I read them in like a viewfinder like where you click the pictures? LIke int he camera’s eye. Directing is what I will do eventually. And producing would be fun as well. I’ve had this idea of Tin Cup the television series. I’d love to pitch that to Bruckheimer when CSI is over. It would have the comedy, the side kick, the love interest, the zingers – it would be fun.

The only other singing part I remembered was from Grave Danger.

And seriously, some fans were angered over Nick becoming 'the new bug guy'? I find that strange, almost, and I definitely see it as a tribute to Grissom, and his comment about Nick being the best student he ever had.

I couldn't help thinking a lot while rewatching Snuff yesterday...would anyone like to see another case like that now, small box and red ants? Although I doubt Nick would react quite as badly now.
