Just read the blurb for this week's episode and was surprised to learn that we get to see...
Nick on a date?
Wowzers. I wonder how that will pan out!

Isn't that rather risky. We all know Nick's hazardous track record on the matter.:p

The link to this is in the spoiler thread (if anyone wants it) because it does contain spoilers but this part doesn't...

At least everybody knows his name. As new CSI supervisor D.B. Russell, Danson, 63, appears to have transitioned nicely into a cast as tightly knit as any on TV. Three of his new work buddies — Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows), George Eads (Nick Stokes) and Paul Guilfoyle (Las Vegas police captain Jim Brass) — have been part of CSI's cast for all 250-plus episodes. That meant Danson had to work his charm even before he arrived on set. "He called me two or three times just to say, 'Hey, what's up?'" Eads says. "I was like, 'Not much. Um, who's this?' He's, like, 'It's Ted.' I go, 'Ted? Oh, Ted Danson! Sorry, man. How the heck are ya?'" (To further ingratiate himself, Danson has sprung for on-set massages and a shaved-ice truck for the crew.)

I find it kinda funny that George had no idea who he was on the phone.

But what I really want to know... Which one of you have been making the treck to California to give George a massage and not told the rest of us? :guffaw:

Susan

I thought that was funny. Hope there is more of George in that TV Guide issue.

Sorry, to say, it wasn't me..

<Sheepishly raises hand> I was trying to keep that a secret! Dang you T.V. Guide! :guffaw:

That is so funny that George didn't know who it was on the phone. I can understand though, if it's out of context and you're not expecting the call

I loved how Ted said George was a wonderful actor when they introduced the episode clip on Regis & Kelly last week!! :adore:

He did? Well, I have to agree. If you listen to the commentaries, it is usually George who compliments other actors, so it is nice to hear when someone compliments him.

OK, did anyone else notice that Nick didn't appear to be wearing a T-shirt underneath his coveralls at the dump site in tonight's epi?

Or was I just imagining that bit

I thought I saw the t-shirt at one point and then at another I thought I didn't see it. I'll definitely find out the answer when I cap it later today.

I don't think he was wearing a t-shirt in that scene.

I thought he looked adorable on his date with Doc Robbins niece. It would have been nice if Robbins mentioned the date to Nick when Nick was in the autopsy room.

I thought it was a so-so episode. And to me, it was another Nick-lite episode. I hope this isn't going to be the trend this season - doesn't look like Nick will be featured that much next week either, or in the Morgan/helicopter episode.

I loved it! To me it was a well rounded old school CSI episode. I liked that Nick even had a little part in the other case too, talking about it in the break room with Morgan and Greg. :)

I also thought it strange that Doc didn't mention the date to Nick later. Seems like there was really no point to her being there other than to have Nick on a date that really wasn't a date. ;)

Lots of cap-worthy moments, I noticed! :D
