George/Nick: Texan Charm #12

I need new glasses because today I walked by a magazine with the late Steve Jobs on the cover and thought it was George.:guffaw: Not sure how could i have mixed them up because Jobs was pretty emaciated in this photo and his hair was gone. However, it was the glasses and the dark eyes that threw me.

Having said that, if they consider a movie about Jobs, George would be a good candidate.

Actually the same thing happened to me. Although I was several feet away from said magazine (and have very good eyesight). But yeah, I glanced over at the stand and slowed down trying to figure out if that was George. It was something to do with the light and the angle of Jobs' face.

Is it my imagination, or does George no longer say "don't turn that dial, CSI is on next" before CSI starts?

No, it's not your imagination Sookie :(

They've been skipping it mostly, or they've had Ted doing it, if it's said at all (out here at least). And as far as I can tell, it's Ted that's saying 'stay tuned for scenes from the next CSI'.

I really miss George's voice! :scream:

Yeah, he doesn't do it anymore. :( I don't think Ted does it on my station either. They either skip it or the announcer is saying something about some other CBS stuff. I used to love hearing George say that. :)

I've never ever heard Marg on my station. Can't swear I haven't heard Ted, but I know usually it's the announcer saying something.

Yeah, I guess I've heard Marg maybe once too. Neither one of them have the lovely voice that George does

Right now I can't think of too many people who can hold a candle to George in the speaking department!

And the announcer? Bleh! :D

Stop it. You're getting me all woozy at work. :adore:  Plus I'm thinking about vest porn but can't post until tonight! :( I can do stuff like that at work, but the pics....especially PB....seem to slow down my computer a lot. Then I get stuck with customers.

Customers, yuck! How dare they interrupt
OK, I'll be good

Lets just say that George saying 'Don't touch that dial...' was the only reason I turned the sound up before CSI on Thursday nights. Since I already watch Criminal Minds the sound is already turned up but I miss his voice telling me not to touch that dial.

Susan

On mine George always said, "Don't touch anything. A new episode of CSI is *something*. CBS next."
