Ooops... Princess beat me to it. That's basically what I was going to say (about him going back to Texas for a visit).

Noooooooo....we want him in the show. Sitting at the desk (or on the apple box  ) or whatever. As long as it's not overdoing it for him. I'd at least like a glimpse of him instead of being totally absent. :)

Of course we want him there, but if George absolutely has to take some time off then I don't want the writers to hurt Nicky. They've hurt him enough. Plus, they could have him call Cath or her call him and ask how his family's doing and we could hear his voice, so he'd sort of be there.

And if he calls, the phone display will say "Nik". I wonder why it was like that when Grissom called. I hope they weren't trying to imply that Nick spelled it wrong when he input it. :shifty:

ROTFL! Yeah, or it'll say "Nikki" since Cath calls him Nicky more than she does Nick.

I want him on the show too. Apple box and all! Even if Nick is bedridden for the last episode.

Maybe can we have Nick going for surgery like Grissom and walking away with the back of his gown open:guffaw:

He could start teaching part time at a university....or lecture at a conference or something. I'd love to see Nick gain more recognition in the forensics community at large.

On the misspelling of Grissom...I like that little touch, heck I've worked for my boss for nearly six years now and sometimes I still spell his name wrong! It just makes Nick more human and real to me.

I like your idea.. Maybe Nick mispelled Grissom's name because he has trouble typing. Phones can be harder to type on and some people have trouble typing on regular keyboards. I hope we can still have Nick on the show, even if it's doing deskwork. Was there word of surgery or something? I do hope George gets better even if it means surgery. I'm sure many of us could help him.

I was watching "Turn, Turn, Turn" again today (still trying to finish those caps!), and when it's raining and he's going to the overdose lady's crime scene, I'm thinking he's awfully stoic and pensive and I'm trying to figure out what's up, and then I realized it was soon after Warrick's death.

I mean, I knew that when I saw it the first time from Super Dave's comment, but now it's so much more obvious, watching the scenes leading up to that comment and knowing that's why he's like that.

Sad, too. :(

I have rewatched this scene several times and I agree...very sad . I also took the moment when he looked at her, that hesitation prior to going inot the room as he takes a look at her changed appearance and maybe he saw a little bit of Warrick in her, someone who was making the wrong choices, someone going down a very dark path just as Warick had been doing prior to his death, with drugs. But in that one moment of hesitation,no words needed to be spoken to capture the pain in both of their eyes....a very sad scene indeed.

He did such an awesome job in this episode.

Well, while capping I have the sound turned off, and without hearing all of the extraneous sounds and just watching the scene unfold in silence...it's really powerful and moving. Especially the exchanges between him and Super Dave in that moment.

Ohhhh...I'm getting depressed!! :(:lol::(

Hey folks. I was watching Turn Turn Turn again earlier (thank you on demand) and I was trying to figure something out.

In the scene where Nick and Henry are doing a walk and talk and then catch up to Hodges talking about oil baseball gloves and horses, I was trying to figure out Nick's belt buckle.....don't laugh you know you can't help but look too.

It looks kind of like a gun.....I wish I had the ability to screen cap cause that might help...but if anybody did cap that scene just head over to the Ward and post away

Yeah, this one's a chief. I'm telling you...they're doing some heavy Texan cowboy promoting all of a sudden.

Susan and I posted pics of it in the Ward, if anyone is so inclined. Maybe we should start "collecting" different ones!

That would be an interesting new 'porn'.
