Thanks for the link, Stokes4Me! I have to wonder, though, why no one asked him about his engagement..? Think of the suit/tux

I'm sure there were questions about it but maybe the moderators didn't want to let George deal with them... the whole life chat thing was really CSI focused and a few questions about his future plans but this was it.
Plus he was only on for a very short time. I think an hour. I found he took a long time with his answers. So I'm wondering if he was a. having the mod pick them very carefully or b. a very, very slow typer!:guffaw:

So his fingers were covered in PB.:lol:Actually I was thinking more along the lines of eating those pb&j sandwiches. It was 11 - 12 his time. We may have made lunch more interesting for him.
And that comes from someone who was just typing with an ice-cream sandwich in one hand.
The full review can be found here. There is something undeniably sweet about the way Langston is standing on the strip showing Madeline’s pictures to passersby and prostitutes, hoping someone has seen the girl. It’s endearingly earnest, as is Nick’s offer to help him after hours. One of the biggest treats this season has been the developing friendship between Nick and Langston. They often approach cases from vastly different perspectives: Nick is more of a gut instinct guy, while Langston is a scientific study devotee. Yet both men have incredibly big hearts and are caring people, and that naturally draws them together. When Nick finds Langston on the strip, he doesn’t chew him out for not answering his phone but rather offers some good-natured advice, telling Langston the next time he wants to go AWOL, he should leave his department phone at home, as it’s equipped with a GPS device. George Eads and Laurence Fishburne both bring a genuine warmth to their characters, and seeing the bond between them grow and deepen is very rewarding.
Some good words from Top41's review of "The Lost Girls"....

Top was spot on with her analysis of both characters, though I still think part of Nick is not trusting (?) of Langston or think there's just something going on with Langston. :shifty:

It takes time for people to develop trust, some longer than others. Langston hasn't been on for very long, so it's going to take a while for Nick to develop the level of trust he had with Grissom.
"Natural choice" is right! I can't imagine they would even consider anything other than promoting Nick to that position. They are lucky they didn't, or they would have the bunch of us to contend with. :lol:CSI Files:What was behind the decision to promote Nick Stokes?
MacDonald: To recognize his huge contribution to the team and his growth as an emerging leader. Catherine needed somebody to back her up and Nick seemed like the natural choice.
