Please tell me I'm not the only one but I think that beyond the open shirt (of course :drool: ) the best part of that shot is the big smile on his face. :lol: It's just nice to see him having a good time with it.

blackflag I couldn't agree more on your comment there. George does look like he's having a good time. Considering how private of a person George is it's nice to see him being so open and in more ways than I mean

I read an article about the photographer who took the torso shot we all love. His name is Brian Bowen Smith and he has a reputation of putting stars at ease during photo sessions. It looks as if all the stars were having a blast.

Now while George deserves to be number one, I think Simon Baker (who I drool for as well) was picked because The Mentalist is the talk of tv right now. It was more about 'whats popular right now' then looks and we all know George is..cough..cough..the sexiest man alive..

^wow, myfuturecsi, I had no idea LF said that about wanting GE's autograph! That's pretty cool of him! Not to mention it raises GE's profile even more! (Thought he was more likely to have said wanted BP's autograph, but even better he said GE!)

I was kinda sad that my second favorite characters Grissom and Warrick left, but if it means raising the profile of our GE even more, like in this photoshoot, it's more than a good consolation.

Really, I think it's related. Like, with Warrick gone, Nick is now the kinda only hottie posterboy (hence being named "Sexiest..."! And with Grissom gone, they don't have a face for CSI anymore, so they're promoting GE more heavily than ever.

Not to say GE couldn't make the cut for Sexiest male alive (we wardgals know that!), but someone above was saying it's all about what shows are popular (and probably who the network wants to give publicity to) to make the list!

chipper you may be right about the networks having a say in things. It will be interesting to see how things go this year when the networks are pushing for the Emmy nods yeah I know we can only dream of George being nominated and winning.

I just finished capping Bully For You and I found the end of the episode very touching when Nick is replacing 'Soup Mans' John Doe with his real name. I was wondering how much George was thinking about his dad. I remember McStokes at some point said that George's dad was in the US Marines. According to some info I found about George's dad, Arthur Coleman "Cappy" Eads was in the Marines from 1959-1967. If things had gone differently for George's dad I wonder if George was thinking that could have been his dad. Anyways I just found it a touching moment at the end of the episode.

As much as I LOVE these pics we're seeing, I hope they aren't the ones in the magazine, because I want to see NEW and different ones in the magazine so we have more, more, more!

I'm also happy to see him look happy and relaxed in the pics. I would think it would be kind of embarrassing, so it's good to see him having fun. As he said in that one interview when asked about all the shirtless scenes on You Tube..."it's just skin".

It's nice to see that he is having so much fun with the photo shoot, especially with the pain he's been suffering. Of course, we saw him having fun with a photo shoot last year in Monte Carlo. Too bad he didn't open his shirt then.

Absolutely! And George has worked so hard and put up with a lot of crap, so any raise in his profile is good for him.

It's interesting to read about his dad being in the Marines, and I have to wonder if that influenced George's haircuts as well. Silly I know.

George is proud of his body (me too!) and he enjoys showing it.
Wish I were that shirt and those pants.....
I hope his back heals soon so that he can keep on entertaining us pain-free.

Not to give spoilers away but I believe they are working on the final two episodes, so if they finish up by the end of April, George could easily have the surgery to relieve the pain in his back and be well enough to go back to work around July or August when they start to film the next season.

I'm just guessing given what I read about the healing time of back surgery, so if anyone has a better grasp of the knowledge feel free to correct me. LOL!

Cause that could pose an issue if George decides to go the surgery route.

Princess I haven't heard anything for a while on what's happening on the actors strike issue. They've been without a contract for almost a year know and with the economy being as it is they'd be stupid to strike. Just my opinion. But if they did go for a few more episodes it certainly would be an issue if George were needing surgery.

I thought the actors strike thing was all over.
I knew GE had a bad back didn't think it was that bad. Poor guy.
Just shows you how much atention I pay to these things.
