Gas..How Much are you paying???

I live in Nova Scotia and the gas here was $1.39 a litre but the price has gone down to about $1.26 a litre. Hope it continues to drop.

When it comes to gasprice...I don't doubt it... but taxes... :p you don't even have those freaky EU VAT thingies.

We had discussion about EU and Norway last spring, best comment

I hope we never join EU either! :lol: Well, I know VAT on food here is 24%..
 
VAT is EU thingy... right? you cannot have it... *mumbles* this is probably the only thing I'm not sure about... but we didnt' have VAT until EU so that's why I think it's something else, different tax that you have food. It's not VAT.
 
Oh, sorry :eek: I thought VAT was the same as the tax we pay. anyway, we pay 24% tax on food then.
I just asked my dad how much tax we pay on gas, and he said it's like 75%! Outrageous! :eek:
 
OMG! Gas about 2 hours ago was 2.87, which I filled up my Jeep with at that price and I just went back out and it's dropped to 2.79....I'm so pissed!
