the plays of true west and grapes of wrath were both televised on PBS - i managed to track down true west (had to do some digging though! most copies online were vhs, not dvd, which is understandable as it's from about 1982) but grapes of wrath i've not managed to find any copies of, even on vhs - which is annoying because i adore that book and i'd love to see him in it (apart from just the stills). someone said that true west was on youtube but i looked and it didn't seem to be. there are several *other* versions of it on youtube (incomplete) but i doubt any of them are as good
i love that play, i think i've watched it almost every day for weeks!
Well, here comes my ignorance about good American plays and novels *hides in a GLAD bag*. Never read Grapes of Wrath! But you're making me wanna read it. Plus, Gary being a part of it would just make it a better read! Anyways, I started reading in English like... 3 years ago now. I don't know what took me so long *facepalms*
Ah, yeah, VHS makes more sense. I guess they didn't felt the need to convert them into DVDs because of the low demands and such. Psh.
mac is keeping you awake all night and it's no fun?! how?!?!:guffaw::devil::devil:
LMAO! The rêveries of Mac stopped!!! How could that happened to me! And another 3:33 thing just happened...
I was writing the previous sentence and well... (I'm a dork) I looked at my Mac and thought : "Hey, this is cool. I have a Mac.
MAC." I also happen to love M-A-C cosmetics... Too much coincidences. I'm christenizing my comptuer Mac Taylor.

Cyn-B-Demented I know the feeling what is like being awake cause of men! :lol:And Mac is very good reason for being awake actually!
Hahaha, I know! Very good reason! I couldn't stop giggling when I immediately thought of Mac when I looked at my alarm clock!
That hippy-pic is great! My mum told me what kind of was to live when hippy culture was in. She's a year younger than Gary, but somehow she don't seen to like "that much" We had a dispute one time, cause she said that David Caruso is hotter than Gary! :wtf: (Sorry for those who like Caruso
) But back then I couldn't believe my ears! :alienblush: So I just said, "It's okey, if you like him fine, but I think Gary is much better actor and good looking also!" :luvlove:
My parents are 3 years younger than Gary and they really don't like that culture lol (well, my parents are judgemental so I guess it's not relevant) It never influenced how I felt about it, thought, it just doesn't appeal to me as much as punk or rock culture.
And I must admit... I had a TV crush on Horatio Caine... so I can understand your mom  but Mac/Gary is WAY better on so many levels!!!
I don't like hippies that much personally, but I have to make exception with Gary!
LOOL! Oh, the things we could close on eyes on for a man, right?
By the way, feel free to save any pictures you like on my Photobucket
I don't own them and I'm not a Photobucket-nazi either lol
For some reason, it made me think of Jack Sparrow and now I really wanna see a Pirate Sinise!!! :guffaw:

"Oh, gosh, there's a lot of songs that I like. There's about 60 songs that we
do. We play everything from pop, rock, soul, country, Motown," he said. "It's
kind of all over the map. It'd be hard to pick one."
I love him even more now. Diversity! ♥ Thanks for the article,
Railynn!
And thanks for the pictures, everyone! Love them, of course!
Oh, and before I leave, the article posted by Railynn made me think of a good question to ask you, guys. Kinda silly question to ask but fun, I suppose? Here it goes : If you could pick one song to be "the Gary song", what would it be? If I had to answer right now, the song that comes to mind is Sex Bomb by Tom Jones LMAO! Gosh, and you'd think I would come up with a more deep-thought answer, right?... :guffaw:
