Forensic Science Trivia Game!

Re: Forensic Science Trivia Game

I know this is OT, but it's about the Ramsey case. I saw the article in the paper and copied this from the smoking gun.

AUGUST 16--Colorado investigators today announced the arrest of a man in the 1996 slaying of JonBenet Ramsey. The suspect, 41-year-old John Karr, was busted in Bangkok, Thailand "following several months of a focused and complex investigation," according to a statement from Boulder District Attorney Mary Lacy.

The casefile on JonBenet Ramsey.

You know you should give others a chance to answer, if I had the chance I'd want to answer some. That's just my opinion.

Re: Forensic Science Trivia Game

needmorecsi, this question is for you:

What are the truths and falsehoods in reading body language?

Re: Forensic Science Trivia Game

I'm with needmorecsi on this issue, coroner. The questioning process must be democratic so that everyone has a bonafide chance to post both questions and answers.

Re: Forensic Science Trivia Game

Don't worry about it, just try to keep it in mind. For the current question, I've got no idea.

Re: Forensic Science Trivia Game

can i answer? :(

If i answer it right needmorecsi can ask a question rather than me...

I just like answering the questions cause it makes me the intelligent one... amoungst my friends and at school i'm the stupid one. The topic that i'm good at (forensics) doesn't come up in casual conversation so when it does in the form of a trivia game i immediatley jumped to it. That's the reason i've not given anyone else a chance. So once again sorry. I'll try to hold off. :(

Re: Forensic Science Trivia Game

Yes, you may answer. (Just remember that there are other people who want to play this game too.) ;)

Re: Forensic Science Trivia Game

ok i'm sorry...

answer:
False-Looking to up and to the left means a person is remembering something from the past.
Truth-looking to the left usually means they are trying to remember something they heard.

Re: Forensic Science Trivia Game

You're only half right, Coroner . The truth is that it's an inexact science. Though looking to the side is often used to access an auditory clue, there is the possibility that it's a personal habit. Eye movement sould be interpreted in context of other indicators.

You get only 90 % on this one. ;)
