Forensic Science Trivia Game!

Re: Forensic Science Trivia Game

It is the leading cause of deaths in babies from 1 month to 1 year but they most often occur when a baby is between 1 and 4 months old.

Re: Forensic Science Trivia Game

I was looking for 2-4 months, so Shantel, you are correct.

However, I will mention that it has to be before one year of age, with the most common time frame being 1-3 months.

Re: Forensic Science Trivia Game

Ok, since this game has been dead for over 10 days I thought that I would post a new question :)

In 1900 blood groups were discoved by Karl Landsteiner, but who adapted the theory to allow blood stains to be typed?

Re: Forensic Science Trivia Game

Yay! :D

Okay, new question:

Who used engravings of his own fingerprints to identify books he published?

Re: Forensic Science Trivia Game

The most common indicator of shaken baby syndrome is retinal hemorrhages. Also, subdural bleeding, but I think the answer you are looking for is retinal hemorrhaging.

Re: Forensic Science Trivia Game

I keep jumoing in here when I see new posts only to find the question already answered, oh well I will keep trying.

Re: Forensic Science Trivia Game

Thumpy you were right I was looking for retinal hemorrhages, but you can have a cookie for the extra answer that you gave :)

Re: Forensic Science Trivia Game

:D thanks for the cookie, never a promise. *eats cookie*

OK I have an internship this summer at a coroner's office, and part of the requirements are six three page papers on various forensic science topics. So, since I need to stop procrastinating and get busy, this next question will be on blunt force trauma, my first paper topic I need to write about

Maxillary fractures can be placed in five catagories, name them.
