Forensic Science Trivia Game!

An autoclave is used for sterilizing.
On one side fo growing media and on the other side for lab instruments or surgical instruments.
:)

After you said all of my answer was wrong, I looked it up and it does heat up instruments pass their boiling point, unless the text is wrong... just thought you should know. ;)

Exactly, now for the second part of the question: What does it use to sterilize them???

Sorry, have I overlooked that part?
;)

It uses steam.
Around 120°C hot (depends on the way you sterilize).

Yes - the autoclave is filled up with water underneath and heated to 120 Celcius for 15 minutes. I used autoclaves for two months back in June/July to sterilise all my flasks for growing yeast cells during my research :)

Selina is correct.

Future_CSI, I looked on the CSI:Miami site, tools section and it said what Selina said. i was just saying that what you said wasn't the answer I had. I never said it was wrong. I guess I was a little off on the moist heat part, but I'm sorry for that. Oh yeah, and it's he not she.

 Sorry, I thought you were a girl. You always picked girl names in the Which is Worse thread, so one can only assume. :D

*lol*

Yes, it can get a little confusing wwith the gender around here ;)

Ok, here is the next question:
