The Sara/Nick hug and the Sara/Cath hug were both kind of short compared to the Sara/Greg hug (and of course Sara/Gris hug). I loved when Greg said "I'm glad you're here." I was worried that he was gonna be mad at her for leaving without telling him goodbye. Hopefully when she leaves next time she'll say goodbye to everyone.
Greg has never struck me as one to hold grudges against people. So I could see him greeting Sara as he did. Plus I always felt they were closer than Nick and her were.
Didn't Greg like Sara at one point? Maybe back when he was in the lab? I may not remember correctly....
I looked it up in an online dictionary and both tenacity and tenaciousness were given as valid alternatives, so maybe tenacity is just the more common variant of the two.

That's what I'm wondering myself??? I'm also wondering why they are bringing back all the Detectives... Vartann, Vega, Caviliere? Maybe they are bringing them back to investigate the undersheriff. :wtf:
My feeling about that was nothing sinister, but that they're so close that no words are needed. They both went through trauma. Nick responded one way, Sara another, but they both understand one another. The reunion scene, I was a little confused, Sara gave strong hugs and words were exchanged with each one until Nick, only a hug, she pushed away and they shared an odd look, maybe some unresolved anger issues when she left without that good-bye,
I'm glad I am not the only one who noticed that.
That was my first thought too, till I looked it up. "Tenaciousness" is a word (though "tenacity" would've been my first choice): http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/tenaciousnessAm I the only one that had a problem with the grammar in Grissom's speech? I was watching with my family, and when he started talking about Warrick's "tenaciousness", we all busted out laughing and simultaneously blurted out that it should have been tenacity?
It was a pretty obvious error on the writer's part and it just bugged me. The funeral scene would have been perfect, otherwise.
I've read some speculation online that there was supposed to be something further developed between Sofia and McKeen (he made a strange crack to her at one point) and that was supposed to be linked to her departure, but because of the writers' strike, they never had a chance to do that. So she just disappeared without any explanation.Yeah, Sophia just vanished after Dead Doll. Which is really strange, because you'd think that since she once made it into the opening credits, they'd at least mention where the heck she disappeared to.
