Flack/Stella #2 - "When You Drive, We Don't Eat."

Mandy, the thread is super cool. I love the caps. I wish I could trade places with Stella and Flack touched me with his hands and lips.

I remember Stella calling Flack chicken. And how he shrugged it off in his Flack way. I can see Stella saying to him "I forgot you are a chicken", and he tickles her as payback.

Yup, scaredy cat Flack is just too funny! He has to call Rambo Stella to hold his hand.

Thanks Kiane. :D I'm glad you like the opening post. :D Don't we all wish we were Stella so we can hold and kiss Flack to our heart's content.

I love that whole "I forgot you are a chicken" line, Kiane. Just too funny!

Kiane, now I have visions of Flack and Stella curled up on a couch, watching a scary movie, Flack freaking out and Stella saying to him "I forgot you are a chicken." LOL, too funny.

Hahaha, I love the idea of Flack and Stella watching a scary movie on the couch and Flack gets scared. I'm hoping to use that for a fic that Heather has hinted I should write. So let's see what the muse brings to me.

Hahah yes, the fic I not so subtly hinted you should write ;) It will be a while til I can get around to writing again... lots of homework this semester: an 18-20 page paper for my Mass Communication Law class and a 30 page paper for my Research class. Not to mention the fact that I have to come up with my thesis proposal. SIGH.

Hmm, so we need a new topic of conversation, any topic starters guys???

have we talk about the music they might like? I can see Flack as a classic rock guy. maybe a litle jazz when he is in the mood. as for Stella - classic music, maybe swing.

reading through your posts girls, for being a hero is our Donnie quite the granny (I hope this means what I wanted to say, I found it in a dictionary)

Ohh, great question Carly. I don't think we have done that one yet. Hmmmm, I think I agree about Flack liking classic rock and Stella liking swing. I also really see her liking jazz and other music you can dance to easily. Oh, and for some reason, I see her liking random country music, maybe from hanging out with Lindsay. And for some reason, Celine Dion, which, of course, Flack would give her a hard time for  As for Flack, hm, I am not too sure what else.

Sorry to hear about school work Heather. I hate writing papers. Ah thesis writing! I almost went crazy with my law school thesis. Up to the day of its submission, I was typing furiously! I think I just had about three hours of sleep before the deadline. Thank goodness that's all in the past.

Funny about your question Carly! I was actually thinking about what concerts Flack and Stella might enjoy. I was thinking that they'd probably love to go to a Dave Matthews Band concert. Those are always sold out and packed and they are just amazing. :D Eeep! Celine Dion, Heather? I think Flack will definitely give Stella a hard time about that one! I also agree about Flack liking classic rock but I think he's the type who'll enjoy listening to alternative music. As for Stella, I see her as having an eclectic taste in music but she's not the type who's into heavy metal.

I can actually see Stella liking Celines French songs. and I like the random country songs idea. Im a fan of country music and I think there is a lot of things she might find apealing. I have no idea what concert they could go to together, though right now raggae popped on my mind :)

and when we are done with the music we can move to books. do you think any of them is fan of Harry Potter or LotR?

Reggae Carly? I love the whole genre. If I want to relax, I'd put on Bob Marley and the Wailers. I think both Stella and Flack would love reggae. :D

I can totally see Flack as a fan of JRR Tolkien's work. I see him as having devoured all the books since he was in grade school as well as those by CS Lewis. As for the adolescent/pre-teen Stella, I think she read through the entire Anne of Green Gables series. In contrast to that, I think she's read Judy Blume's books.  As for Harry Potter, I think both of them have read the series. As for other books, I think Flack has read most of Tom Clancy's novels, how about those by James Patterson? As for Stella, I think she might be the type who's into Austen, Nicholas Sparks. Well, that's just me.

I dont know that many English writting autors but I love Agatha Christie and I can see Stella liking her too. my mom reads a lot of Ed McBain - maybe something for Flack.

I can see them finding out that the other likes HP books and discussing them over some pasta and a glass of wine

I can see Stella being into the Agatha Christie novels. Although I haven't read even a single novel, I have seen many of the films.

Carly, I wouldn't be surprised if Flack and Stella discussed HP over pasta and a glass of wine. I wouldn't be surprised if the discussion turned heated and they end up in bed.  Back to the HP series, I think it transcends race, age and gender. So much so that I'm actually letting my Korean student read to me the first book aloud so she can get the hang of the English language while having fun at the same time (she's read the series in Korean).

I like waking up to an active thread, ladies :)

Mandy, school is tough this semester, but I just keep telling myself, it will be worth it.... I hope...

In terms of music, I definitely agree with Mandy about them liking Dave Matthews, he has a very interesting sound and his music is great. I am not too sure about Flack liking alternative... definitely not metal/screamo music, And reggae? That's a possibility.

As for books? I can totally see Flack liking Stephen King novels... or maybe that's just me projecting, lol. But I can see him loving The Stand, The Dark Tower Series (which I have yet to read), and other books by King. Maybe even some Tom Clancy and Thomas Harris. As for Stella, maybe the series by Janet Evanovich, the "Stephanie Plum" series ("One for the Money," "Two for the Dough," "Three to get Deadly," etc.)

I can see Flack trying to convince Stella that the HP books are awesome, but her kind of just rolling her eyes (my friend and I have this discussion, he keeps trying to get me to read them, I am not that interested,). And I can see Stella reading CS Lewis' works as a kid growing up in the orphanage. Not too sure about LotR. Maybe she read it after watching the movies... and she fell in love with them, and tries to get Flack to read them. They reach a bargain: she will read HP if he reads LotR. And they both fall in love with the books :) Gah, no, no more plot bunnies... come on muse, I don't have time to write these,

Hahaha Heather, about school, just keep thinking to yourself, "delayed gratification!" :D

Oh I love the idea of Flack and Stella reaching a bargain...she'll read HP if he reads LoTR. That's just too cute. Hahaha Heather, are those plot bunnies and your muse driving you nuts on top of the school work?

Delayed gratification for sure.

I know, these dumb plot bunnies are gonna get themselves shot if they keep popping up at inopportune times... "Be vewy quiet, I'm huntin plot wabbits."

Oh for books, I really see Flack liking the graphic novels, such as Sin City...
