Flack/Monroe #2 - It's a Block Party Thing!

I love the flower garden idea. But I really think that Iheart should write a fic about NYPD Detective camp. Lindsay and Don could be the cool detectives at camp and do all kinds of crazy things. Then they get to have a detective dance---they'll play all sorts of corny 80's songs. Flack will step on Lindsay's toes a bit too much, then he'll just let her dance on his feet for the rest of the night!

See what opening a new thread and going shopping the same day does to me?? And yes, threads do have a certain 'new' smell to them---LOL! :)
 
teeheehee...i love that idea. she can start that fic as soon as i'm done beta'ng the one she says she's finished but has yet to send to me.

Speaking of fics . . .

I updated "Static On the Radio." It's five chapters, but it's a small update because each of them is a drabble. But they're all connected. And it's angst, which I know you guys love. :D

Gonna go to sleep now. Hopefully I'll have time to chat more tomorrow. :D

and now i'm being roped into writing a fic about a detective camp? oy. i dunno. i'm working on something else flack/lindsay right now. that's going to be angsty and drama-filled. i think you'll want me to finish that one first, right?

i don't know if we've covered this before, but i don't think we have...

when flack and lindsay get more scenes together this season, how do you think their dynamic would be? you know how D/L always flirts, and M/L he's always reminding her to stay with the science. when flack and lindsay establish more of a relationship, how do you think they would act?

Great discussion topic, Emily! ;) :)

I definitely see their dynamic being just as it was in "COTP." I think they would have a nice but professional air to their dynamic (with a touch of humor). I would love, however, to see them work a really 'hilarious' case where they [Eddie and Anna] would have to use their great comedic skills. :cool:

I thought they were both great in "Bad Beat." Only next season instead of bouncing back and forth between Lindsay's scene and Flack's scene, they should be in an actual scene together!! :rolleyes:
 
I want an actual scene together, that would be great firstly. Secondly, I want to see some humor and angsty baby!
 
I agree. I think their dynamic would be like it was in COTP. I definitely want more scenes next season. In fact, I think Lindsay needs to work a solo case with Flack. Eddie has mentioned wanting to work with Anna more in interviews and stuff, so maybe they'll give him what he wants. :D

I don't know why I always think of Kelly Clarkson as Lindsay's soundtrack, lol. Maybe it's cause the first time I saw her, I thought of Anna, lol.
