Flack/Monroe #2 - It's a Block Party Thing!

Well I'm sure he wanted her to marry one of the boys there, and a city boy steals his little girls heart. I say the main thing he'll do is lecture Flackie about not hurting her in which he'll promise not to.

More like Mr. Monroe will say I don't care if your from the city if you hurt her I have lots of land to hide the body in. I mean you ever wonder why the best horror movies take place in the country or suburbs?

Monroe: Nod and smile. Understand this. If you hurt my little girl, Flack, I'll kill you. I don't care if you're a police officer; I'll kill you just the same.
Flack: If I hurt her, I'll let you kill me.

On another note, more Lindsay bashing in the review for "Silent Night." I've decided to just stop reading them, even though I've been saying that for ages. Christ. I think that maybe CSI: Files should get a reviewer who isn't biased. I mean, "Lindsay is a character who's hard to like in the first place"? Even in the episode "Open and Shut", the one where Stella was a wicked bitch to Lindsay, the reviewer made Lindsay out to be on the bad side. I think that's ridiculous.

It makes me sad. I needed to vent.

Random Question: Since we know that Lindsay is planning to take a leave of absence in 3.14, and we know a little about her secret... In our fanon-verse, what do you think Flack is going to do about it?

Answer to Random Question: Flack would miss her miserably and want to cry. He would have to stop himself from wanting to fly out there to be with her. And would wait by the phone hoping she would call. ;)

And SP I totally agree about needing an unbiased reviewer and Mod. But then again how would you do that. Because all people have opinions.

All I'm saying, RE: reviewer, is that even though everyone has their own opinions, is to just keep it out of the review. I mean, reviews are supposed to be objective and only about the episode. You're not supposed to bash a character, and what the reviewer here does is consistently insult Lindsay Monroe. Keep it to yourself, right?

And as for Flack, I think he'd try to stop her from leaving. At least he'd try. On the show, Flack is obviously the shoulder everyone leans on. He'd try to convince her that she has a place in the city and people who will help her through this, a family, you know?

Does that mean you should fear me?

Flack: If I hurt her, I'll let you kill me.

aww, he's such a sweetie.

In our fanon-verse, what do you think Flack is going to do about it?

Well, I think at first he'll let her leave, and then after kicking himself, he'll follow her, to be with her. :D

Mod? .. Yeah, all people think differently

what the reviewer here does is consistently insult Lindsay Monroe. Keep it to yourself, right?

I know, but what can you do? Tell Tbonz, I guess. *shrugs* I dunno.

But before Modie comes in here and beats my ass for going OT. I'm going to say, Flackie pwns all. :D She has to agree with that one. ;)

screamingpoet, if you have a problem with the reviewer of the CSI:NY episodes, then you need to voice your opinion in the Episode Review threads in the NY forum. Everyone has a right to post in there and everyone has a right to voice their opinion in there.

Just so everyone knows, the definition of review is: a piece of writing that discusses the author's opinion on a piece of publication, such as a movie, video game, musical composition, or novel.

An objective description of an episode is a summary, which precedes all the reviews on CSI Files.

Therefore, a reviewer can give their own opinions. So, let's just stick to discussing Flack and Lindsay in here. This is your haven away from all the negative opinions.

Yes, I must agree with you there about Flackie. :)

And its a great haven away from all thing negative.. *nods* Gotta love Flackie and Linds.

Yes, I must agree with you there about Flackie.

:D I'm glad you agree. ;)

Only thing I have to say is that its sad that we need a haven. Since this is a forum we shouldn't have to hide away but I'm glad we can.

Flack is the best and not just for Lindsay. But together they are a killer couple.

Does that mean you should fear me?

Don't worry I fear you everyday. Your scary!

I agree. While this is a forum and everyone should have their say, and as 1CSIMfan gave us the "true" definition of a review... Apparently people can bash characters all they want in the name of legitimacy and free rights.

Random Question: Do you think that Flack, even if it is not implicitly stated on the show, suffers from his own feelings of survivor's guilt following the bombing in "Charge of This Post"?

Answer to random question: Of course once you ask that question I can't help think they are even more meant to be together so that each one can help the other with the guilt and each other's. Everytime something happens to Flack it seems to affect him greatly. I really think the bombing would have pulled them closer together. Even if it was just the friendship part of their relationship at first. ;)

I didn't even intend the question to have that result, but I guess I'm just that amazing. Maybe I always have FM on my mind and I don't even realize. XD

I really do think that Flack has his own feelings of survivor's guilt, though. Especially taken in context with the previews for "And Here's To You, Mrs. Azrael." In the previews, he freaked on the kid who made an assisted suicide pact with the girl. You know, the whole "who gave you the right to play God" thing. I think that Flack's trying to deal with the fact that he survived, and also that during that coma he could've gone in a second. Why didn't he?

And as for Lindsay... *shakes head*

Sometimes when we think we're keeping a secret, really the secret is keeping us.

I don't remember if they said if everyone was able to get out of the building. And I have been thinking it’s strange that some of the things Flack says doesn't go in the episode. So I think TPTB are trying to imply things. That's why I go with the promo 'For not what it looks like' of Flack's feeling for Lindsay then the way they have it in the episode.

Randomness: What's everyone's favorite FM episode and/or moment?

My answer: Surprise 'Not what it looks like' favorite moment is in the beginning when he is talking about the victim, the look they give each other just says a lot. Second favorite moment is from 'People with Money' when she is teasing him about the phone numbers. ;)

Probably PWM, just for the joking at the beginning of the eppy. However, NWILL is good too. Both are very tight in competition as a fav. FM eppy.

ETA:Oh and I'd also like to add CotP too, at the beginning when they were joking around... I likem jokin around with eachother.

The joking around is what's cute about them. I can't wait to see just the two of them working a case. I think they would be a great team. ;)
