Re: Film Feature: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
Awws, that's nice of your sister
Tink (unless of course, you don't wanna go with her, but that neighbour of yours instead
).
Well, DMC was ace! I prefer the plotline in the first one though, because I found it was more straightforward. I found the plot in DMC a tad overly-complex, which made the film lag a bit in one or two places, though to be honest, I didn't really notice the time because I was so glued to the screen
I won't say too much, because I don't want to give anything away for those who haven't seen it yet. I thought it was pretty funny throughout, and I liked the development on the Will/Elizabeth/Jack thing
though I think fans are going to be quite divided on what will or should happen with this in the third movie.
The soundtrack was cool, though again, I think I prefer the one from the first movie. It still think it was good, and will probably buy it in CD, but it just didn't have that 'Ommphh' factor in it that made me sit up and notice the soundtrack in the first movie.
A fantastic swash-buckling sequel, and a great job by Gore and his team(s). Praise to them for making a sequel that lives up to the first. Definitely the must-see movie of the summer in my opinion. The CGI is amazing, and Depp is on top-form as usual
This man is God when it comes to acting - he has the part of Jack nailed perfectly. I don't know how he does it. I could never act that well
Can't wait to hear all you guys thoughts on it
