I agree, eric's shirt looks strange.
I thought ryan has a horrible fashion scene, but at the moment eric is the one. The shirt in 'death pool' was too yellow, I don't start with 'rio' and now this.
Eric is hot with a black polo shirt which he wore for ex. in 'nailed'.
BTW, any interesting dialouges in 'death pool 100' between them do they act normal or and professional towards each other?

Hey guys, I've been pretty absent from this thread lately, sadly, I just don't have time to keep up with it, so I've had to stop reading it. But, I just wanted to pop in to say "OMGWALKINGONBEACHSCENE!!!" It looked like they were friggin' holding hands! I was so psyched when I saw it. And, judging by the piles and piles of screencaps on here, I guess you all were too. So much love! Wee!

And these screencaps are fab. I think we're all loving this new season, although we're a little concerned about Eric's wardrobe. Nice outfits for Ryan though!

How are they together in S5? Are they cool and professional, or brimming with UST? And is Natalia getting in the way? And why was everyone walking on the beach? Ryan had a big smile on his face. Was that entirely due to Eric squeezing his hand? :devil:

Shadowfax , we'll miss you, but have a good holiday. I'm looking forward to the next part of WCWS - is that the last part? That would be sad. I've got a little fic that I was going to post tomorrow, but I'll get it posted today, seeing as you're going away. The icons might have to wait a little, though. I've still to figure out how to do it. I'll pester away at it until I work it out.

And thanks, inge . Those are my favourite ones that I put up as userpics. I don't have Photoshop either, BTW. I use the photo-editing component of a program that came free with my laptop. It's a bit limited, but it does what I want it to right now.

I'm as much in the dark as you are with season 5. I really can't wait to see the beach scenes though. :devil: It looks like such a great Hardy Boy moment, unfortunately I have to make do with the pictures. Oh well, I'm re watching season 3 and we also have season 4 running at the moment. I'll have to make do for the moment.

Aaawww... thanks, guys! *feels loved* I'm so going to miss everyone too. Not being able to read about or see some Hardy Boys will be tough and will involve, as you said in the Togo thread, Ali, some major sacrifice. I've got only my unfinished fics, my imagination and fantasies about them, my journal to write down updates with, and my *whisper* wallet-size Togo pic :devil: */whisper* to keep me company and sane during the trip. Le sigh... I'm already going through major Togo withdrawal, and I haven't even left yet. *sniffs, huggles everyone*

But thanks for the wonderful reviews, Ali, Tink, SwiftT, and inge!! They mean the world to me, and I'm so glad you found Chapter 8 quite moving. The story had gotten so complicated, it was quite a challenge to piece everything together so that it would make sense. I'm just glad to hear that it worked out okay. *sighs with relief* And no, Chapter 10 won't be the last chapter in this fic, Ali, so don't be say...yet. I think it probably has 2 or 3 more chapters "togo" after the smut, which I'll be posting on Sunday night for sure. :devil: I'm flying out on Monday night, soon as I get off from work.

Welcome back, Quickie!! We've missed you. Don't forget about the Hardy Boys. Come and stop by more often if you can.

As far as S5 is concerned, Eric and Ryan definitely seem to be getting along. They're professional but in a more relaxed kind of way imho, not the kind of icy professionalism that we saw when they still had so much tension between them. Personally, I don't like the fact that Eric 'seemed' to have readily forgiven Natalia, and to me, it looks like he might even be flirting back with her in Death Pool but not in Rio (I know she definitely was flirting with him both times). Grrr! They were walking on the beach after they just shut down Hover Gambling (which was on a ship off-shore) - logical meeting place to end a big raid, I suppose.

And of course... Ryan's smiling b/c Eric *did* squeeze his hand in secret!! :devil:

We were saying that we should get our own gutter, since we spend so much time there - Hardy Boys posters on the walls, cushions, drool-buckets etc. Would you like to join us?

I hope season 5 gives us a few good friends moments, or you know, sweet lover moments, we already have a ready supply of UST moments and tension so it would be nice to have a change of venue

in the fourth season they started out their fragile and careful friendship, I hope they become better friends this season

I thought Eric really liked and cared for Boa. I mean when he thought she was pregnant he didn't seem too upset. I am amazed at how nice he's been to her this season after how mad he was in the finale about her mole position.

It looks like Ryan and Eric may work together a lot in the Halloween ep. Maybe Eric will help Ryan get over his curse by kissing him. That usually resolves curses right? At least in fairy tales and well CSIM is close enough to one.

Yes, inge , there's another fic in the works. A rabid plotbunny caught up with me at some traffic lights the other day, and now I've got a wicked and devious plan to get Ryan out of his clothes :devil: Eric too. I don't want to give too much away, but it's an idea I can drool over for hours!

It strikes me that there is always tension between one pair of people in a series, and it relaxes between other people. In S4 it was between Eric and Ryan, and in S5 it seems to be between Ryan and Natalia. That might bode well for relations between Eric and Ryan. The antagonism isn't directed their way, so they might have a better chance of a friendship. I'd like to see that.

We need to think of a good birtday present for Shadowfax. We've got a week. Any ideas?

Man, I've really missed this place, my mind-in-the-gutter-ness has been getting rusty! :lol: (Oh, who am I kidding, it'll never get rusty :lol: ) I think I'll come around here more often again, and I might even read the pages I missed eventually, since it actually wasn't too many. In any case, I'm here now, since I've got some free time since it's Thanksgiving weekend.

And you know what I'm thankful for? Shadowfax's brilliant screencaps! I especially love the sunset one of the two of them with the ocean and Miami horizon in the background... so pretty! I started making an avatar out of it, but then was like "wait a minute, there's nothing I can possibly Photoshop on here, it's perfect already, where's the fun in that?" :lol: I loved all the captions to the screencaps, too. Especially the "*smooch* What? It's a valid interpretation of the picture!" :lol: ROFLMAO!

Oooh, and I think a kiss from Eric would DEFINITELY be the best way to lift Ryan's curse! Good thinking!

sorry, but it was also a little bit painful to watch. they are still snapping at each other.
I need to see 'nailed'! only two weeks.....
It wasn't the right moment to mention the money and eric also snapped at ryan later in the episode where eric suddenly disappeard.

awww, it would be so sweet if eric kisses ryan to break the spell.
H: Who does want to kiss Mr. Wolfe?
