Eric/Ryan Slash--Unresolved Tension

I was screaming at Stetler during that 'Shattered' episode too, Tink. Ryan was under oath, and even though he couldn't lie about what he saw in Eric's kit, you could tell that he was desperately trying to protect him, that he was struggling inside. I hated that Stetler told Eric that one of his colleagues ratted him out, when that wasn't the truth at all. :mad: The look on Eric's face seemed to be directed at Ryan when he heard that, though, like he knew he was the one Stetler's referring to. :( GRRR! Stupid Stetler!

"Ryan's back?" "Supporting each other?" I'm guessing you know how I took this statement, don't you? :devil: Bad, bad girl! Putting thoughts like that in my head so early in the morning! :lol: But you're not the only one who wants to see more of that too. :p :eek:
 
I was really pissed off at Stetler too and Ryan didn't have a choice,
I can remember he tried to make it look as if he thought that Eric used the rolling papers to roll sigarets, you know with tobacco and everyting
but Stetler didn't buy it
 
Exactly! And that right there proves that he didn't rat Eric out. He was trying to come up with excuses, even though Stetler didn't buy it. I'm just glad that Eric didn't throw that back in Ryan's face later on when everything cleared up.

Hee-hee! I agree, Ali... Eric does more 'private' things with Ryan. :devil:

He really did his best to try and get out of it. I'm also pleased Eric didn't throw it back in Ryan's face. I think on some level Eric knew how it all went down, I wish Eric was behind the glass or something during that interview.
 
I was also screaming at the tv during Stetlers interrogation of Ryan. He didn't want to tell and he was under oath. He tried so hard to protect him, but in his mind I think he really did believe Eric was doing drugs and he couldn't hide his feelings from Stetler, he saw right through him.
I was worried that would bring more tention too and I really thought when Ryan asked Boa out that it was going to cause problems between them and I hated that. Them fightin over HER. I'm glad it didn't go there and after that ep we really didn't hear anymore about either of their relationships with her.
I just have a bad feeling that this ep the TPTB are going to put Eric against Ryan. I want him to be supportive of Ryan and help, but I just see them having Eric as an ass saying something mean to him. Maybe since the whole mole thing the team has become stronger together and trust each other more. I'm hoping.
 
I don't think Ryan can lie very well. It might be to do with the OCD. He probably knows he's rubbish at lying, and Stetler would realise that's what he was doing, so he was trying to just tell as much of the truth as wouldn't get Eric into trouble. Does that make sense? :confused: But when Stetler said had he ever seen Eric smoke cigarettes, and he had to say no, I really, really wanted him to come back with the fact that he hadn't seen him smoke anything else either. I think that could have been an important point.

I read a fic that I really liked about that Shattered "ratting out". :D I think it might have been one of yours SwiftTales . Eric went round to Ryan's after work. I can't say any more or I'll give it all away, but it's a good fic. If it is one of yours, SwiftT, remind me what it's called. The reason I thought of that is that I don't thnk that Eric blamed Ryan for it. I think that he knew Stetler was just stirring up trouble, and he refused to rise to it. :cool:

I hope so and they should be.
Eric and Ryan should dispose the natalia thing of once and for all and should agree that they never ever will date the same woman and especially natalia.
leave the shipping part aside for a few minutes, it's not good for friends when they date the same woman.
I still think ryan did this only to test her. the minute he saw eric with natalia in 'silencer' he knew that he shouldn't go out with her and dismissed the idea to ask her out, but he had no other alternative.

The title is Wanting, it's some of my earlier word xD

I definitely hope that this has taught Ryan and Eric something, maybe they finally realize they're a team and they should start trusting each other

especially since in one episode, Eric accidentely told Erica something about the case, maybe now he can understand how come Ryan accidentally became Erica's source a couple of times

and thanks to Ryan's quip, maybe Eric will finally start thinking about all the times Ryan said Erica made it up and Eric wouldn't believe him

What I would like to see is them bonding or something, or at least becoming better friends, I thinkt he situation definitely calls for it
I sincerely hope that if anything happens with Natalia and Ryan that Eric won't choose Natalia's side that would be just cruel

I mean, Natalia is the mole and it feels like a lot of people are very willing to forget she betrayed them. It would be especially cruel if Eric still had this resentment sort of thing towards Ryan

I mean, Natalia betrayed them but he can forgive her and Ryan did nothing wrong but Eric can't forgive him... can't forgive him for taking Speed's place..

Am I making any sense?

Anyway, I'd really like to see them get closer and become friends and maybe give us a hint that they did something together after work, like Eric did with Cooper

I think the episode with eric and erica was 'double jeopardy', but I'm not sure.
I hope that eric now understands that erica is a very smart person. She knows what she wants and how to get the right information. ryan was a newbie in '10-7'. He tried to impress her and flirt with her and it went so wrong.

come on, they work for over two years together. eric could really trust ryan.

I also hope to see them doing some things together after work. an invitation for drinks after work in the locker room would be a great start.

Glad I could make your day, inge . I've been working on that one for ages. Every time I thought it was finished, I thought of something else to write. :mad:

So Eric lets something slip to Erica as well, does he? He should have a better understanding of how Ryan slipped up then. :rolleyes:

I really think that with two years working together they should spent some time together off the clock. They are such different people though, I wonder what they'd find to do that they both like. (Apart from the obvious... :devil: Get those minds out of that gutter! :D ) In Game Over, I got the impression that Ryan was pretty keen on the skate-boarding stunts. Wouldn't it be cool if he actually did that kind of thing? That would really wow Eric. :eek: :eek: :eek:
 
Well,
we know that Ryan likes Mexian Wrestling, the skateboard thing and in Urban Hellraisers it was pretty obvious he also like games and stuff like that

the only thing I really know about Eric is that he likes to go out clubbing and that he's a swimmer and quite interested in sports...

so you know, maybe they could go to a Mexican Wrestling game
 
You know, I've said from the very beginning since I watched that online episode about the mole and found out about Ryan possibly being 'attracted' to Natalia that my theory was that perhaps Ryan was just taking her out on a supposed 'date' in order to root out the mole. At the time, I didn't know how many people agreed with me, b/c I was so bothered by him 'dating' her that I couldn't sleep and I was trying to think up reasons why he would do that. I guess I was right in the end, and I was glad to know that my theory wasn't that too far off. :D I just hope Eric has moved past this "Speed's replacement" phase and would choose his friendship with Ryan over Natalia's flirty betrayal.

Okay, sorry I've been out all weekend. Hubby decided to take a sudden camping trip this weekend, and I just got back. I'm so exhausted but I thought I'd catch up here a little bit. I had a great time camping with a bunch of our friends, but I was bumming at the same time b/c I had actually been working on the update (Chapter 8 ) for "When Curves Were Straight, and I had to put it on hold until I got back."

I had every intention of posting the update by Saturday too, and well... that ain't gonna happen now b/c of my unexpected interruption. :( *pouts* And like every one of my chapters, the more I typed, the longer it got, so I'm thinking that you'll probably just get half of the answer as to why Ryan's been acting strangely, and you'll get the 2nd half that would tie everything together that's been happening in the next chapter (Chapter 9) with some of my initiatory 'good stuff' writing. :devil: Hey, at least you guys get part of the answer, right? Better than nothing, I'd say! :lol:

And don't forget, I'm leaving to go overseas next Monday, the 9th, so I'm trying to get you guys at least 2 chapters in before I leave *crosses fingers* b/c I *heart* y'all, and I didnt' want to leave you hanging 'too much' while I'm gone. Now, isn't that nice of me? :p But we'll see what happens. :D

ETA: Glad I could keep your mind in the gutter where it belongs, Tink. :p And look for chapter 8 for WCWS to be posted soon (hopefully by Monday). ;)

Yes, I think you're right about Ryan and Natalia, Shadowfax . In Payback, she was flirty with him when he asked her to test the keyring for DNA, but he acted all puzzled, like he didn't know what was going on. So him dating her later was odd, unless there was another reason for it.

I was wondering if he chose Mexican Wrestling because he's more used to going out with guys. :p He wasn't sure where to take a girl. He does seem to be into the sports / games thing. And so is Eric, as far as we can tell. They're both very toned, so they must work out, go running and stuff. :p :p :p Maybe they should do that together. Get all hot and sweaty together :devil: ... We should have our own gutter in this thread, we spend so much time there :D .

Shadowfax, I'm off to read your next chapter now. I've been holding my breath since the last chapter. :eek: Well, nearly. Every time I think about the last chapter, I catch my breath. We'll miss you while you're gone.
 
I think she used him and he used she also a little bit.
Natalia needed ryan to maker eric jealous (but we all know he wasn't jealous because of her ;)) and ryan tested her if she's the mole. The bad thing is (for us) that Ryan liked Natalia.
maybe he thought Natalia would say NO to mexican wrestling.

I saw 'Three way' tonight. ryan's smirk was great.
but I have to say I didn't like the eric/ryan scenes. eric was soo angry with him and snappy. :rolleyes:
of course, ryan's comment in the elevator was cocky, but even Cal laughed. show a little bit more humour eric! I know maybe he was tense because of his sister.
*sighs* it's soo difficult between them.

Oh yes, there's definitely something going on in Three-Way. In the previous episodes there wasn't much tension between them at all, and then it suddenly explodes in Three-Way. :confused: I think that Eric was overwhelmed with jealousy from Ryan's comment about Erica at the beginning of the show. :devil:

And isn't that smirk fabulous? But infuriating. :D

And I'm not liking Natalia very much. She seemed OK to start with, but she's getting manipulative. Ryan has very raw emotions - he either Likes someone, or he Can't Stand them. There doesn't seem to be much middle ground. So until she gave him a reason to Dislike her, his emotions were at the Like end of the spectrum. Does that make sense? :confused:

Shadowfax , love the new chapter! We neeeeeed more! I'll send the Milk Tray man round with a wheelbarrow full of fish for your penguins. (Good thing you live in a single storey apartment - he might have trouble climbing up the drainpipe with the wheelbarrow :lol: ).
