you mean Ryan plays very often pc games in his spare time?
...
and where's SwiftT? :(

In Urban Hellraisers Ryan identified the pc game the baddies were using as their inspiration because he had played it at home. He said to Eric that he'd stopped playing it at home because of the content and the things that gained points. He also seemed to have the game disc with him to show Horatio - don't know why he would have it at a crime scene, but there it is. :D

I can only hope that SwiftTales isn't here because she's writing. :p I hope she hasn't fallen out with us *puppy-eyes*

ETA - I've been working on something for you, inge , a little teaser. It's not a screencap, more of a manipulation really. The pic quality could be better - I think I increased the image size somehow - but it is my first try, so please excuse anything odd. It's from that scene in Three-Way with the smug grin. :D
smug, smug, smug!

PS. I'm losing my marbles. I couldn't remember what Photobucket was called. :D I kept getting Photoshop in my head. I had to go back earlier on this thread and look it up. Senior moment - aargh!

awww thanks Ali!!!
it's great. I like it. :)
eric is soo sexy when he is mad.
and it's typical so typical ryan to piss eric off.
I swear, he does it on purpose.
He also thinks that angry!eric is hot.

Tension is nice, but not too much. I repeat myself I know but 'whacked' and '10-7' was too much.
SaT was somehow hot. :p

That was a good manip Ali! And I'm ashamed to admit this, but for some reason, I just now noticed that they're wearing the same color shirt (like a blood red/burgundy shade)? You know what that means? *wink* They're so totally a couple, and they don't even realize it when they dress up in similar shades. :D

I agree with you there, inge, some tension's nice, but too much just makes me nervous and worry over them. I really didn't like those 3 shows you mentioned, those would be on my least favorite eps. But a bit of simmering tension's good.

I think Ryan tries to piss Eric off on purpose b/c he knows Eric would want to wipe that smirk off his face with his mouth and by doing something else entirely to Ryan... catch my drift? *mind in the gutter... thud*

Hiya everybody!

I haven't had time to post in a while, but I'm back now :p

the pics you guys posted are amazing! I especially like the one where they're standing close together, it inspired something I'm writing with a small part in that scene :D

I'm not sure what I would like to see in season 5, I think it would be nice to see if they become friends and spend some time together off the clock
but then again, I don't want to loose that nice tension they have going on, it's absolutely... blistering

I love their chemistry, it's nice to see them as friends and it's hot to see them arguing

I think the ideal situation would be that they are friends, but because they have such different personalities they have argues quite a lot, but that it doesn't affect their friendship

like that time Calleigh and Ryan argued about Alexx and her hanging up the posters in Deviant, but even though they had an argument it doesn't affect their friendship negatively

I think I'd like to see Eric and Ryan like that, but of course we know that they're more then just friends *winks*

That was the first thing I thought when I saw that pic. I can think of a few ways that Eric can wipe the smirk his face. *joins Shadowfax's mind in the gutter*

I agree with you inge on the tension, there have been scene's where it was a bit too much, especially in the episodes you mentioned towards the end of season 3. I really love the mild tension, it very hot when they get into it a bit. :D

So, inge you guys are just behind us here in the UK. I thought us brits were that last ones left to see season 4. :( So, your still waiting to see 'Nailed'? It aired here a few weeks ago. You'll really enjoy that episode, obviously I don’t want to spoil it for you, but JT's acting is amazing and it has some fantastic Eric and Ryan scenes. :)

*waves to Swift and Twiz* :)

*ETA* Thank you Ali for the explanation on the POV!

Yes! I'm all for being 'friends' *cough* with benefits  *cough* when it comes to Eric and Ryan. Then, they could argue as much as they want, but they'd still be friends and I don't have to worry about any kind of falling out between them.

Special friends! *cough*

I do think now that they are going to get closer and closer, now that they seemed to have worked past the tension, they'll start to become close friends. :D

Okay, so what's everyone’s favourite hardy boy’s moment so far? What moment have would you say have been great Eric and Ryan scenes, be it tension scenes or friendship scenes. :)

yeah, sure *friends*

yes, I'm waiting to see 'nailed', but I already know a lot of details about it. Austria is always more behind that the UK. ;) the worst thing is that the TV station only airs the first twelve or eleven episodes, then there is a break and the rest will air in spring.
I'm so happy that 'nailed' is the 8th or 7th episode. *phew*
'nailed' contains a lot of my fav moments. Eric brings ryan to the hospital and he's soo concerned.
The ending scene is the best scene ever. this was the first time they admited that they both made mistakes.
soo sweet. :D

Oh yes, "friends" is good. I like your description of their tension as "blistering" SwiftTales. Electric was the best I could come up with, but I like blistering much better.

The race to the hospital in Nailed is probably my favourite Hardy Boys moment. Eric's just soooo worried about Ryan. And when they get to the hospital and he can't stay with Ryan. Ive got to watch that again soon.

Poor inge! Austrian TV has a big break in showing the series - that's just wrong. British TV might be behind the US, but at least we get the whole series week by week. There's some really good episodes in the first half of the season though, and you'll have something to look forward to in the spring too.

Tha pic I posted wasn't brilliant, but I'm going to try some more. Maybe a matching clothes theme. What do you think? I'm only just finding out how to do it on my computer, but spending time playing with pics of the Hardy Boys... There are worse things *grins*

inge, that fic is starting to take shape in my head. It's probably only going to be short, but I've been wandering around Birmingham today, shopping, and writing it in my head. I'm going to call it "Pukey Green". It sounds a bit like one of SwiftTales Odd Colours series - hope you don't mind SwiftT! (Actually there's another one nearly ready to post before that, so keep watching).

ETA - Actually, it's up now. I got home (I was in an internet cafe earlier) and wrote it all down straightaway before I had chance to forget it, and then posted it immediately. So let me know what you think... :D

Ditto on everything that you said! There are other moments that I really like as well, but this is definitely my favorite! :D I'm in a hurry right now to list my other close fav epis, but maybe I'd list them later.

No way! Could you imagine if 'Nailed' was like episode 13! I'd die.

I have to agree with a lot of you on 'Nailed'. It's defiantly my favourite episode for Eric and Ryan, I also really, really enjoyed the scene with Eric helping Ryan to his car - great moment (well, not so much for poor Ryan). I also enjoyed the scene at the end of the episode with Eric and Ryan regarding the lift home. ;)

I read in the tv guide that "Nailed" was supoose to be the 5th ep then they moved it to 8th and that was a long hard wait for me. Damn by the time it aired I had no nails of my own to chew that night, I was chewing my cuticles.

Waves back at Tinker...thanks for the welcome back.

I keep my eye on this thread but since we have to post about the ships and only that it's sometimes hard to come up with something to say that I don't get in trouble.

I loved "nailed" because there was, well Togo overload for one, but also great scene with him and Calleigh and Eric.
I was very shocked at the way Eric reacted to Ryan being hurt and how caring he was for him, especially when he wanted to stay with him, that totally shocked me. Even though they agrue over just about everything deep down they care for each other, more then we all knew.
The ending with them was just perfect too. I'm an angst whore so even though I was so worried about Ryan I liked seeing him get hurt and needing comfort from everyone. Plus Jon did an amazing job and blew me away.
I really hope this season we see a little arguing over cases and not personal between them, tention is good cause at the end of the day they can clock out and make up....

What strikes me about Nailed is the fact that Eric and Ryan really seem to come out stronger together from that episode, they both admit that they're wrong and they forge some sort of bond out of that

there are still some faint traces of blistering tension :p after it, which is normal they're too different not to argue, but they definitely don't have so many and so intense fights anymore

I like that

My favourite Hardy Boys moment,
well my favourite Hardy Boys episode is definitely silencer, because of the scene in the evidence locker with Eric, Natalia and Ryan
it's so obvious that Ryan is hurt and when you see the way he and Eric exchange glances it really seems like something is going on between those two
and there is of course, the blog and the conversation that Ryan starts about how it would be if there was a blog about the crime lab
the way he talks about seeing Natalia and Eric together and then having Eric vehemently deny it definitely spikes my interest

Tinkerbell, I would die if 'nailed' was episode 13th. no, I would write a mail to the tv station.
you know, there's still the possibility that they'll leave the episode out for no reasons. they did it with 4 (!) episodes of season 3. this is why I bought the DVD's. I hope this will not happen to 'nailed'. *knocks on wood*

Oh, right, 'silencer'. can't wait to see this episode too. ryan looks so jealous and hurt and eric looks so concerned. aww.
I also like 'after the fall'. they work together and they're getting along with each other so well. eric teachs him several things during the episode.
and don't forget 'speed kills'. the episode where eric says to him 'good work' and ryan looks so surprised. and he's soo cute in this episode. :D

Ali, the fic is wonderful. so funny. :D

I was quite shocked as well actually. Eric's reaction to the whole situation was fantastic, he was really worried about Ryan. It was so sweet. :)

Oh, I can’t wait for 'Silencer'. :) Only two more weeks to go before it airs here. *squee*

I'm already having withdrawal from them both, I may have to chuck on a Miami dvd, actually after inge's post I now have sudden urge to watch 'After The Fall'! :D
