Haha, true. But, that's the way it should be ;). Still, she needs to start doing some of the work now! Why it's taken her this long escapes me - The H that is AR/ED wants her!

But I do want some kind of confrontation between the two of them. The steamier the better. But, then again, I can imagine them just becoming an item almost seamlessly, as well - with a silent look that's just them.

I think the writers owe the two of them a confrontation. It's sweet that they could seamlessly "flow" together into coupledom, but I'd like to see a nice emotional confrontation where they both admit their feelings and then well... you guys know...:p
 
The writers do owe it to us. And I think a confrontation is needed - not necessarily a heated one (though that would be the preferred option) but a talk is required, definitely.

Actually, you know what would be even better? If Calleigh just walked up to Eric and kissed him. And I think I want to see her kiss him as opposed to the other way round. Unless Eric's in a hotly jealous/moody state and they've just had a heated discussion. Then he has to kiss her.

Oh bah, they just need to kiss.

Calleigh is a strong independent woman, and therefore, does not, I repeat, does not need Eric to make the first move. I'd love it if she decided that she wanted to take the next step and she initiated the first steps towards it.:)

It's nice to see a woman who doesn't wait for a guy to pick her up and save her. :cool:

True, but, at the same time, that makes it better if Eric kisses her - for him to take away her control in a steamy way. Ultimately, though, I do think it's Cal who's going to decide to take the first steps towards it. He'll kiss her, but she'll initiate it methinks.

That's if we even get an on screen kiss, of course.

I got to thinking today about how it would be great if our first confirmation of a relationship between Eric & Calleigh would come in the form of a scene in which the two of them are shown together in bed, seemingly nude, very early in the morning when one of them gets an early morning call out to a crime scene... and well, I decided to write a story in which that happens. ;)

You know, Jen's fic has got me thinking...

I think it's a given we'd all like a morning in bed scene, but what other snippets could the writers give us of EC moments?

Methinks I'd like to see them get out of the elevator together, share a private look, and then go their separate ways. A moment in the break room would be nice, too. Or a flirty phone call. Or a cute walk somewhere pretty. :)

Meanwhile, I'll keep hoping for my steamy make out session in the Ballistics Lab, even though I know it's annoyingly unlikely.

Ooh, and a scene with Eric in a wet-suit would be rather loved, as well. Calleigh doesn't even need to be in that one...

Actually, she does. Like Jessica said a couple of pages ago, I want Cal to stare and him to see. Then fun ECness can occur from there. :)

And I can't decide who I want to make the first move. I kinda think it will be Calleigh, cuz I think Eric is biding his time right now until she's ready. He wouldn't want to make his move too soon; Calleigh seems like the type who needs to do things in her own time. However, she also seems like a girl who could just think things to DEATH and not end up actually making her move. So I feel like he will probably pounce eventually if she keeps dragging her feet too long. Its anybody's guess at this point!

(And I love that I inadvertantly re-Christened Adam Rodriguez. Or, should I say, The Hotness That Is Adam Rodriguez.)

There are spoiler pics in the spoiler thread. Eric and Calleigh are really pissed at Ryan. They look like they are going to kill him. It's not really an EC moment, but I still love those little scenes where they are doing something together (like yelling at Ryan).

Jennifer, I loved your story. It was wonderful, and as I said in the review, I can totally see something like that happening in the show.

Yeah, you're right. I think that, whatever the writers do with them getting together (and they better get them together), Emily and Adam will act it so great that we will end up watching that scene even more than we watched the end of the "All in".

I'd like to see a scene at the end of an episode where Eric & Calleigh are taking a walk on the beach, hand in hand, Calleigh holding her high heels in her other hand as they stroll. Instead of focusing on a brooding Horatio at the end of an episode, the writers can give us this instead.

Oh, that would be cute! Or even a camera shot of them meeting for after work drinks... or dinner... or... ;)
 
How about a scene where everyone is going home for the evening, and we follow Eric or Calleigh whichever, and they drive home, open the door, and then the other is standing there in the living room waiting for whomever we were following to appear...:adore:
OR

The rest of the gang is going out for drinks, but Calleigh is working and Eric declines because he has a "date", and as soon as the others are gone the two of them get together to have their evening together...:)
