That is what I am hoping for; some kind of awkward moment or admission or something to that effect that will leave us wondering what they are going to do next season. I think to leave the season off with just the 'tension' we are getting now would be blah. At least give us some kind of idea that the characters *know* about their feelings for each other and then next season is them attempting to sort them out; this could still be done with Jake around. Also, Corey's use of 'immediate' kind of makes me think this way. An immediate resolution would be then just getting it on....but any other type of resolution is kind like what I described above; them struggling to come to terms with their feelings.

Either way it is going to be a long summer :D

And I agree Midnight....i would never write a fic like that. Maybe jibe the character but never do something like be abusive. I'd move on, leaving a trail of tissues in my wake, but I would move on :lol:

Well you know what? Some people are just desperate. They look at things oppisite us and then thos abusive fics come along. Perosonallly I wouldn't write those, because they aren't appealing to me. Not even if the were about a ship I don't like.

This is going to be a long summer...and a hot one. I'm already sweating. Most of it from this thread.

Guys, let's avoid talking about other ships here, I really really don't want to get into a shipper war, especially since this board is so peaceful. Leave them alone.

Wouldn't we get this thread locked? That'swhat I saw happen to another one, because they weren't listening to the mod. So everyone needs to be careful. ;)

Come on, let's find a different subject. So where would Eric and Cal vacation over the summer. They always leave at the end of the season even though really you shouldn't. :rolleyes:

MMM?? some place romantic, Europe??

One thing about E/C and the writers, what I think is that if they have spend the next episodes starting to build the relationship like Adam said, then why would they end it so soon, it would just be a waste of time. So the building is good, hint that this would go far, especially with Adam and Emily on our side.

They'd better not just leave it and never resolve it or I think I'll need therapy... *sigh* Ahh well... maybe it won't be so bad after all...

I was talking to Jackie earlier - I don't think the character of Calleigh lends itself to many rendezvous, especially with co-workers. She just doesn't strike me as the type. Also, if Calleigh enters a relationship with Eric, I think she'd have to be pretty damn sure that it would stick, because I don't see her entering a romance with him if it's just going to be a fling or she's not 100% sure. It's just too risky and the end should justify the means (in her eyes). So this is good. If Adam gets his wish, I think E/C will stay together till the end.

Where in Europe? France? Oh, how about Italy? I think Italy is more romantic(no offense to the French.I think France is very romantic too. :D) They both seem like they'd like somewhere warm, or maybe it's just me. Eric with his Cuban roots and Calleigh with her Southern. So maybe a nice time in St. Barts?

In my Christmas challenge fic, I had them going to Jamaica. We never finished those fics, though. I'm going to save it for this year's Christmas.

Or they could go somewhere cold, since they're already in the tropics. They might want something different. It's not like they'll leave their hotel room, anyway.

^So am I. I was almost done with it too, I think it was that Jack Rabbit that threw me off balance.

Anywhere cold for them? I guess Russia...or Belgium? Isn't that the chocolate capital of the world? And chocolate is sexy, right?

I don't even remember the Jack Rabbit being one of the elements. All I remember is having a bunch of pages typed up and then I accidentally deleted the file and had to start all over again.

They could rent a cabin in Colorado. Drink lots of hot chocolate, look up alternative ways to get warm... mwuah.

Oooh that would be nice. Go skiing in bikini's (maybe not Eric) because sometimes on the slopes it gets in the 60's. Or if a blizzard hits they could stay in a nice cabin drinking hot chocolate transfering body heat. :D

There was some rabbit thing in one of the elements. I think.

I don't know why, but E/C just pulled me in. In Season 1 + 2, I used to be the biggest Horatio/Calleigh shipper... but their chemistry died down a little as E/C love rose to my happiness--and it's so clear how great E/C are together. They work well. They trust each other and are the best of friends. They're each other's confidantes. She even offered to help him when he learnt that he had to pay for the lawsuit as well and he said that he needed to pick up extra shifts.
Even though Eric has totally changed since the shooting, but the chemistry and love (and 'romance'--thanks to Adam R!) between the two never changed. :)

I shipped E/C pretty much right away. But my first episode was The Best Defense. Seemed clear to me that Eric was jealous. Also, I'm a sucker for interracial relationships. I think everyone should hook up with someone outside their race.

I'd forgotten about this scene:

Eric: Southern.
Calleigh: Cuban.

Still one of the best E/C moments. I don't know why. They were just so playful/flirty/fun. I love it when they joke around like that.
