Wow, them making love and everybody watching?! I'd hope they'd sell tickets! :lol:

Everyone says those men are Calleigh's self image and probably so. I just wish she'd known sooner that she deserves and can do waaaaaay better.

Maybe not them watching the show, but watching them wake up in a compromising position. Because even Eric's coffee can't keep them awake after a night of that kind of action :lol: :lol: :lol:

I can speak from experience that it's going to take a LOT of time and patience and simple unconditional love to bring her around. And if you lose that as you're starting to come around, that's pretty much it for your psyche. I think Eric is the only one who will be able to make her see that, but even when they've been together for years there will still be moments where she will doubt everything good. I lost the only true unconditional love I ever had over that. Probably why it's so therapeutic to write Calleigh, we're so damn alike. Plus Hagen went all abusive on her and Peter couldn't talk to her directly, he just went to Hagen about it like people bartering over a piece of furniture. That'll damage a girl...

^ Not to mention piss a girl like Calleigh off :lol: She is not one to be bartered over and I think what pissed her off most about Peter was that he *didn't* come and talk to her after Hagen told him to back off. Regardless of the fact that he was engage her image of him went right down the shitter :lol:

As for Eric, it doesn't matter who he dates or what he does her image of him is never tarnished....he is golden in her eyes. Now that is true love. :D It is going to take some work on Eric's part to break down her walls but if anyone can do it, it is him. She trusts him enough to open up just enough to let him and that is all Eric will need to break down her walls.

I hope Peter never comes back. Donahue seems to love him, and he's such a douche. And so dull. Spending five minutes with him must be like watching the world's most meticulous golfer sitting in his living room, watching paint dry. At least Hagen was somehow entertaining, even though he was batshit. Peter just sucks.

Calleigh deserves better. And prettier, for God's sake. Why are all her boyfriends so fug?

Seriously. She is like the most renowned firearms expert in the country. Why are they messing with her??? Hagen was definitely batshit plus the whole just flat does not know how to handle a woman thing.

In all honesty, the *only one* who knows how to handle Calleigh is Eric. She's something special, and treating her like you would anyone else just doesn't work. When Eric pulls his stupid crap it hurts her, big time. The look on her face when Alexx said the dealer gave him up? Very telling. She'll never leave him, never NOT love him, but it's usually the one you're closest to that causes the most pain.

Seriously, Hagen kills himself and she's all "..." Eric gets shot and she actually cries. She didn't even cry when Speed died.

I was looking at the promo pics for Man Down and I'm kinda disappointed that we didn't get to see the Alexx hug. I wonder why they cut it. Would've been such a sweet way to end that scene.

I hate it when they cut little scenes like that...it so would've added to the drama of the episode if they showed the hug. Then again, Calleigh really isn't the huggy type; so I guess it made more sense for them to cut it out.

I mean the man she loves is lying bed with a bullet in his skull and all she does is pat his shoulder :confused: Granted she put the cross in his hand but he unconscious at the time.

As long as they don't cut our E/C scenes, I'll be fine.

Speaking of Man Down, I haven't seen a single indication that Eric is 'different'. Sure, he's got some brain damage, but I think his personality is the same. Crap writers.

...But you're right, it's far more likely that it's the writers forgetting all about it. :rolleyes:

*sigh* I was so looking forward to that Alexx/Cal hug. :( Of course, then after those beautiful bedside scenes, I didn't even notice they'd cut the hug until after the episode. :lol:

But still. That hug would've sealed the deal even more completely about Cal's feelings for Eric. For her to be shaken by something, that's one thing. But for her to be so shaken that she can't conceal it? That others around her realize she's about to lose it? That's huge.

And of course, Eric has been the only one she's gotten like that over. :D

Seriously. That was a straddling situation if I ever saw one.

I've been meaning to write this NC-17 story, post Man Down, but I don't know if I'll ever have the time. And why isnt' anyone writing? There's nothing at ff.net.

I almost got ran off the road this morning but a pewter Hummer and my first thought was "Must find a hotel NOW to go frak like bunnies" :lol: :lol: :lol:

I think Alexx has superpowers when it comes to reading people, like even if Calleigh has fooled everyone else around her Alexx still knows. And Eric. I think she was too pissed at Hagen to really feel anything right then. And him ending it freed her from his abuse. He really frakked up her life. But Eric is her world, and he was shot 2 weeks before her birthday and 3 months after she was shot, and frankly she was wearing Kevlar but if he had gone for her head it wouldn't have done shit. Poor girl's gotta be thinking about some things. And her feelings for him are so strong even she can't hide how shaken she is. Which rattles her even further because her ability to hide her feelings keeps her safe, and now she's just out there and it's probably scary as hell.

Not to mention Eric's shooter used a rifle and she didn't consider that until the very end almost, she's gotta be kicking herself for that.

They both got shot this season. That's some bad hoodoo. I think the universe is telling them that life is too short and they need to get together now and reproduce like caged lab bunnies on experimental viagra.

Gods I would kill to *Read* your NC-17 Man Down post-ep if you ever write it... I'm writing, but my job is getting in the way big time.

I've noticed that his confidence is shot to hell. I think most of it is stuff only Cal will ever pick up on because she's the only one who knows him that well.

So far it's just an idea. I just have way too much on my plate. 49 R/V fics and some other fics I started but never finished. Man, I suck. I was also thinking of claiming E/C at CSI50, but since Jessica has already done us the honors.

It's okay, their year started off kinda sucky, but it'll get better :D
