I LOVED Calleigh's scenes with Emma! She and Eric totally should adopt her! Adopting is in these days, isn't it?
They would take Emma home and then decide to make her a few siblings...
Awww man, can just someone please write me a 'Backstabbers' post-ep fic? Pe-lease! With cute Cal/Emma dialogue/hugs and then some Cal/Eric angst/fluff/smut.....

Oh and Jessica I figured out that it wasn't one of your stories :lol: and the child's name in the fic was Emily not Emma. I'm pretty sure the story or stories we are thinking of are by Jacobedrose over at ff.net. The more I thought about it and the more I searched I realized the mistake but on the other hand isn't nice to see us relating everyting to your stories?!!!

Anyway, someone please write a post Backstabbers fic....this episode just screams for it!!

I was watching Slow Burn the other night. First of all, I miss Calleigh's Southern accent. Second, Eric telling Calleigh not to tell anyone that his eyes were bothering him. Aww. I love that scene. Third, Calleigh used to be so cute! Nowadays she's tough, but she used to be the most adorable thing ever. I think it's because of the lack of E/C. Something about Eric makes Calleigh all giddy and adorable.

I will post the story, I'm just having doubts. Eh. I'll have Mariel read it first.

She was always so cute back then in season one and two...back when she was so sleeping with Eric. :D Eric does make her giddy. And bubbly. And giggly. And seriously, they just need to start sleeping together again so we can have that Calleigh back again! :D And also so eventually we'll get to see Calleigh in full maternal mode with their own daughter. Aw. :D
 
And that kid looked like an E/C spawn. She just needed the green eyes.

Eric getting shot in the head? I'm so freaking exited/anxious/scared about that! I wonder how Calleigh will react. Looks like she's the first one to make it to the hospital, which is awesome, but I want a stronger reaction from her. Come on, writers, stop screwing us over!
 
They're getting closer...eventually in about a billion years, they'll give us our 'Calleigh and the little girl who this time actually is her and Eric's daughter' scene. They'd better. *glare* ;)

They make my stomach hurt. :( It seems a bit overkill to me. Don't get me wrong; I'm all for Eric (or Calleigh) angst that gets us a glimpse of the other reacting to it, but really, this? Shoot him in the chest, the leg, arm, whatever. But why in the head? What are the odds that he comes out of it damage-free?

This is the perfect opportunity to give us scared, strong-yet-barely-holding-it-together Calleigh. I love the idea that she may drop everything and rush to the hospital, but I want more from her than for her just to stand there calmly. Hello, the man who's supposed to eventually be the father of her little Eva is lingering near death...that's got to scare her.
 
I think the storyline has potential, if this were any other show. Seeing as this is CSI: Miami, however, they'll probably only have Horatio dealing with it, ignore everyone else. Then in the next episode they'll reveal Eric may have some motor problems, but the episode after that they'll forget all about it.

I still like that Calleigh is the first one there. I think she'll remain calm because well, it's Calleigh, but if she suddenly finds herself alone in a room, I don't know, she might kinda lose it a little bit. The ultimate would be her going to visit him at the end of thr episode, but I don't have much hope. The only other thing I know is that she's in the DNA lab with Valera and Valera tells her she'll call her when she gets the results, but Calleigh wants to wait for the results there.

Both Emily and Adam have talent that's constantly wasted. Why?
 
I know ya'll, I heard those spoilers. They seriously scare me.

I totally thouhgt Calleigh and that girl talking was soo adorable and since she turned into an orphan, I wanted Calleigh to adopt her. It totally made me think of Eric and Calleigh having a baby.*sniff*
 
Well, the girl wasn't really an orphan. She mentioned an aunt.

But Calleigh's good with kids. This is the first time we've seen her interact with one, right? It's usually Horatio. Has Eric every interacted with a kid?
 
Bahhh! Why should I write this fic?? I suck at writing! I started two E/C fics about half a year ago and they're still unfinished - and will probably forever be! I'm in a dilemma really: I want to write it, because I got it stuck in my head, but I know that it'll just be a piece of crap when I try to put it into words..... Booooo!
Alright, maybe I'll start... but I'm not promising anything... *lol*

As for the spoilers: I'm trying to keep my hopes down, because things never turn out the way we want them to be on Miami, don't they? Hmmmm.... Sounds interesting though... ;)

Alright I'm gonna watch those Cal/Emma scenes some more now... to get me in the mood...

i dont know if any of you remember me but i used to post here a lot quite a while ago now. then i stopped,id still drop in from time to time but not post, im not entirely sure why but it probably has something to do with working all the time and my sister having a baby. but i was just browsing the internet now and thought id just drop in and say hi. like i said i dont know if you will remember me, but i have many happy memories here, ahhh the porn, hip huggin', the family love...lol

Looking at your banner, I think we should make more E/C banners and icons. We need to represent, yo.
 
well it's good to see you carol...well when i say see, you know what i mean.
as for the representing, we could start a worldwide eric and calleigh take over, become their new management. or have all our dreams of E/C domination been ruined and dashed since i was last here?
