Eric and Calleigh #32 - Seven Years In The Making.

All you fic writers out there who just love to write post-ep fics better be at your keyboards the moment this ep is over!!

Not me! I just get to tell everybody else to write since I already wrote my episode-specific fic, haha. And this is so not turning into Man Down where I wrote like five. :lol:

Oh Jessica, you know you'll want to. You won't be able to help yourself! But, I must insist that before you start on one that you update Rekindled first . You're killing me with that one! :lol:

Yeah...there will probably be two post-eps before that one gets updated again, lol. I got the impression most people were bored with it after the last update. Which works for me because I can't concentrate on one fic long enough to finish it before starting something new instead. :lol:

Happy birthday carolinam91! And damn, what an awesome present!! I'm jealous, lol, but that's okay because I'm with delkolover - I'm so excited that it might as well be my birthday anyway, lol!

I still don't know if I see EC becoming a couple tonight or not - I think it might be a little too much for Calleigh to deal with right now, what with almost dying, and all. I mean, sure it's going to help her put things into perspective and realize what's important to her, but I don't know if she's going to be ready to take that leap while laying in a hospital bed, or being escorted home by Eric.

Know what I love? As adamant as Eric was about going home with Calleigh after her kidnapping, there is NO FREAKING WAY he's letting her go home alone after all this. He's just so sweet, aww. And we'd better get to see that. Man, I kind of wish this was one of those expanded episodes, because I just know there is so much I want to see that we're not going to get. Ah well; maybe that will be conducive to fic.

Last night I saw the third promo and I'm pretty sure it was a voice over. They showed him putting the watch on when he was saying it but I don't think that's the moment when he's actually going to say that. So I am hoping, hoping, hoping that is something he says at the last scene, with Calleigh awake, before he kisses her... :lol: I can hope, right?

Phooey. Well, then I must be in the minority on that one, because I am most definitely NOT bored with it. In fact I get up each morning and after getting ready for work I rush to my computer to see if I've gotten an "update" email for it. How can anyone be bored with Eric and Calleigh basking in the afterglow??!

You're right. I hadn't thought of that. If there's no verbal confirmation perhaps we'd get something of an indication they are headed that way by the next episode if they end this one with Eric holding her hand, and each of them smiling at the other in that way that they seem to do only with each other.

They showed a quick scene of the paramedics transferring Calleigh from the stretcher to the ER bed and it is at that point that Eric says "be careful with her" It was so EResque!!!

That's what I'd really love to see. If not for the "must be escorted out in a wheelchair" policy that hospitals have, I'd love to see Eric walking her out. But that may work because she'd only have to be escorted as far as the entrance, and if Calleigh's "fine," then she's not going to let Eric push her all the way to the car, lol. Stubborn. :lol: I'd love to see him help her up and then let her lean on him for a minute as she regains her bearings. And then he puts his arm around her and holds her close as he walks with her....aww. Damn it, now I do want to write post-ep fic...never mind the fact that I haven't even seen the episode yet. :lol:

Ok all you Hiphuggers out there! since this a major night for all of us in the E/C world, I'm gonna go ahead and declare it an official party early tonight since I have to go downstairs to watch 24 on the other TV and I don't want to run up and down the stairs all night. (Still waiting on the grand appearence of Rory on 24! that about as bad as waiting on E/C!)

I loved this episode. It was great seeing Alexx again. Eric admitting his feelings, Calleigh hearing them. So cute!! When she saw his watch on her hand, she looked so happy

I also liked at the beginning of the episode how Ryan was teasing her and questioning her about her relationship with Eric. He knows something is going on even though they aren't a couple yet.

I am glad the writers are taking it slow but at the same time making progress. I would've gone crazy had I had to wait another season to see this happen. Now that Eric has actually admitted how he feels, the next episode should be an interesting watch.

I completely agree with you!! I don't want the writers to rush the storyline now that Calleigh and Eric have acknowledged their feelings for each other. I want it to continue slow but not too slow :bolian:
