Ok since I noticed this thread sometimes is a little bit slow, also because for a while we had very few news from Emily, I thought it would be a good idea to start talking about the contrast between Calleigh & Emily b/c we all know that Emily is way too different from the character she's supposed to play.
In these last days I kinda lost my respect for Calleigh as a character considering what TPTB have been doing to her (yeah also the shipping stuff played an important role in this loss of faith from me
).Trust me I still love her, but I feel like I'm missing something from her.
She's a completely different person from the one we used to know since s1 and & we all know how this can be shocking for some people while some others may not even notice it
Here are my questions, and I hope hearing something really intersting so that we can have a funny debate
1) Has Calleigh changed since s1?
2) Considering what you might have expected from her, has this change been positive or negative for her character?
3) Do you think Emily has been good at dealing with this change of character? If not, why?
4) If you had been TPTB, what kind of character's develpment you would have enjoyed seeing?
Please, no shipping stuff because there are some people who may not enjoy what you think about ceratin ships

Here we go:
1) Yeah, absolutely. Even a blind person can see that
2) let's see, I've differents opinion for diferent subjects, in terms of personality, I always knew Calleigh like our cheerful bullet girl, but looks like her destinity was not like that since Speed's death and all that she's been through didn't help either but I think in the previous episodes she's beeing more happy
3) I think she' has been great with Calleigh's personality changes, I mean, it's Emily
4) If I were a TBTB I'd never change Calleigh's personality, I'd never take that cheerful and funny side of Calleigh, I can't say I'd take that storylines [All In, Smoke gets in your CSI's, SYG, Wrecking Crew] b/c I love it, but it's too much for only one person, I mean, can you imagine beeing kidnapped, several times almost end up dead?? That's a way too much, oh andBut I love it, and I'll always say that I love Calleigh's storylines but it's too much manthe plastic bag thing

I think every Actress or Actor hopes and wishes for character change, for Emily she wanted a b-friend, they gave her one, and is doing a fine job with keeping it. Not to mention it's a change to see her so vulnerable when she was in the hospital, almost lost Eric, and; so often we see this powerful women who doesn't seem so brother w/the reality of her life, this vulerablity makes her character more human like... I think that's what every actor/actress strives for.the plastic bag over her head(future epi)
