I just watched the finale again and Emily did such an awesome job! The ending keeps breaking my heart because she made it feel so real

Can we just talk about what an outstanding job Emily did in the finale in particular, and throughout season 7 in general? :thumbsup:
Let's not forget how stunningly beautiful she looks this year (not that she wasn't gorgeous before)!
I think this was her best season yet!

I always thought she's a great actress and this season confirms it all the way. I hope she'll get an award finally, because she deserves it like no one else :scream:.
As for her appearance I don't know how is she doing it, but the older she is the more beautiful. I'd say time is definitely her friend.

I've to agree with all of you, Emily was stunning in this episode, she made it to looks so damn real I loved her work, well, I always do, but this one was amazing!
I've to admit, I cryed when she cried :lol:

Let's see, when was she NOT wearing black...:lol: The end of Sink or Swim comes to mind when she went to pick up Eric at the detention center. She had on nice jeans and a pair of boots I would love to steal. IDK, I have to look at some screencaps cause all that comes to mind are black outfits. I think she was wearing a really nice white top in Target Specific.

As for her hair I really liked in Head Case, thought she looked really pretty.

2) Do you think, you'll see her dad again in season 8? Or meet any other member of her family?

I would love to see Duke again. I really want to know what he's been up to and if he is sober or struggling or what. I would really like to meet her mom. I think that we could understand a lot about how Calleigh is if we met momma Cal. If she has any siblings that'd be nice too. Ok I'm pratically mentioning all her family :lol:. Whichever would be cool but if I had to pick one to see in a season 8 episode I would go for her mom. Even though I would really like to know what's going on with Duke I would be satisfied with her mentioning him on a given time. Maybe joke about how he is so anxious to meet and talk to Eric or something to tease Eric with.

3) In your opinion, will Calleigh still have those tramatic storylines, that she use to have now?

I hope not. I think she's had enough for now. IMO she should be trauma free for at least the whole season. Maybe when season 9 comes around then she could have a dangerous situation again but nothing as major as what she's been through recently. It's just been so much already.

Ok I won't even discuss the season finale b/c we all know how her performance was .

Unofrtunately, I don't have a favourite hairstyle from s7 since she always had the same style.
Don't get me wrong, but it was always straigh, a little bit curtly or IDK how to define it normal.
They didn't work too much on her hair & I think it's a shame b/c I wish I had Emily's hair. They can do everything they want w/ her hair.
Anyway I love her w/ curly hair so I like her hairstyle in the last episodes (finale excluded since she had normal hair)

As for the outfit, I'm gonna say the one from "Cheating Death" just b/c she had a white shirt under jacket and "Dead on Arrival" just b/c she had a colourful top under the jackt.
Also I love whenever they put her in rolled up sleeve shirts, too bad that they were white or oh yeah black .
Also loved her outfit in "Smoke Gets into Your CSI" right before her lung was cooked by the fire :lol:

I really don't know, but considering what they've been doing to her character lately, I'd prefer not to see him. Don't get me wrong, but I do feel that they'll bring him back just to let him die right in front of her.
As you can imagine, it's not the best thing .

At this point, I'd love to meet someone else from her family & I do think it's time to finally meet Mrs. Duquesne. I mean they talked about her for a while. Not it's time to physically introduce her also b/c, as far as I know, she lives in Miami

I truely hope they won't go on w/ these storylines just b/c I'm a little bit tired of what they've been creating for her.
I mean except for her romance (which I really hope we're not going to discuss about in this topic since it's not the appropriate thread) what do we know about Calleigh Duquesne? What kind of development have we been seeing in these last 3 years...again not considering her relationship w/ Delko or even the one she had w/ Jake

IDK, I guess I'd love to see a little bit more of character development & I guess that my idea of it consists in her character taken into consideration singularly or just w/ her family members. Look at when we had her father hanging around Miami. It was always nice to see him & you could sense why we saw the Caleligh Duquesne we used to know till some years ago.
Now, Calleigh has changed, but not b/c of her family or some other personal stuff, she changed b/c of her romances throughout the seasons.
I mean people also change w/o getting in love, but hey that's my idea of character development & I know that many of you will never agree w/ me, still I wanted to express it

Anyway, give her another traumatic storyline & I can easily picture her ready to commit suicide, getting off a bridge or stabbing on her own, I don't care. I just don't think she could cope w/ any new traumatic experience :lol:

I thought she wore a lot of black this season, so her outfits were a little routine for me. I did, however like a few specific ones.
And They're offed - loved the tie and blazer look. Very cute on her. I didn't like her hair in this, though.

And How Does... - Loved her hair in this one, makeup and outfit. She looked like she was glowing in this ep. They did a nice job on wardrobe and makeup

Target Specific - Loved her hair and white button down - Classy

Chip/Tuck - Loved her glow in this too.Hair was nice, makeup, same suit, but top was nice.

Resurection - Liked the purple top and her hair. Makeup was nice too
7.11 - Nice outfit, hair.

She's got a lot. I don't really like her hair parted down the middle, though.

2) Do you think, you'll see her dad again in season 8? Or meet any other member of her family?

I would love to see her dad again. I think season 8 should bring developments in her relationship with Eric, so I would like to see her dad and Eric interact. Of course I want to meet her mother and sister, but I could wait for the series finale, if there is a wedding.

3) In your opinion, will Calleigh still have those tramatic storylines, that she use to have now?

I think they will keep giving her these experiences, but hopefully not as much this coming season. She's one of the main characters of the show and therefore would, without a doubt, have things going on. Maybe not as traumatic because she has been through a lot, but she will get some good storylines. I think they may head towards giving Natalia and Ryan some more screen time this season and leave Eric and Calleigh be for a little bit. Either way, she kicks a** :thumbsup:

I love the most her hair, her make up and her outfit in the Target specific. She looked really beautiful. I can't explain it, but she was just glowing.
I also like her purple shirt in Bombshell and her hair and red top in Collateral damage. She looked cute in Sink or swimm too, because it's so uncommon for her to wear so casual cloths like she had there. And her hair and jewellery were great too, she looked so fresh and girly, just sweet.:thumbsup:

2) Do you think, you'll see her dad again in season 8? Or meet any other member of her family?

I don't know if we'll see him again in next season, but personally I'd like to see him there. Considering what she went through in this season it'd be pretty interesting to watch her interaction with her dad. And they seemed to be close to each other, so I guess she'll be happy to have him in her life again at least for a while.
And I think it'd be great if we could meet other member of her family, especially that I don't even know if she has any siblings. I'm really curious how is her mother, she rather don't talk about her much.

3) In your opinion, will Calleigh still have those tramatic storylines, that she use to have now?

Maybe she won't have it so many, but I don't think they will stop entirely puting her in so complicated and painful situations. Like VirGodess said she's a main character of the show so the writers and producers probably think it's good for it to throw a lot of drama in her life.

About the hairstyles, I've to say that I love the ones in the last episodes, without counting the finale, but when she had her hair a little curly, she really looked amazing I think they decided to change her hairstyle 'cause straight hair is like, old fashion :lol:
I also liked her hairstyle in Target Specific, it was awesome! It maked her even more beautiful, she was stunning I think.
Well, about outfits I don't have many things to say, this season has a lot of episodes where she's with black, but I've to asy that I love her outift in The Deluca Motel, I think that red shirt fited her so well, I love it. I also like her magenta [that's not red or pink, magenta is nice :lol:] shirt on Dead On Arrival, too bad she never takes off her jacket. The first shirt she used on SGIYCSI's, it's really nice, blue fits her well too. Oh and, OFC, the end of Sink Or Swim, it's so unusual see her in jeans, she's stunning with it

Like I said before on others threads, I'd love to see someone of her family. I'm so hoping that we see what's going on with Duke, where's that man? I'm wondering if he really stop drinking :shifty:

I researched that site to find some news about the nominees, but all I could get was that CSI, CSI:Miami and House were nominated for Best Tv Drama Series. Nothing about Emily's nomination...

I can tell you, that if you're planning to go there, Emily will not be in any public thing, you can see a few pages ago, the mail that public relations sent to some of us.
I think that we'll have to wait till the festival to see the results.

I don't thing brothers were mentioned. Her mother isn't alcoholic, she kicked her father out of the house, because he is one. And I don't think she got her mothers name or that she was abused... Those things were never mentioned in the show as far as I can remember.

Agreed, that's what I can remember too, although for some reason I was thinking there was a brother in there somewhere as well. Hm, not sure if I read that somewhere on CBS or if it was mentioned on the show at one point--didn't she mention how when she was little, she would sprinkle beer all over leeches and send them into a feeding frenzie? ('Camp Fear', I believe) She may have mentioned siblings in that scene but I can't recall. Anyhow, she also mentioned how her mother was more of a friend than a parent (don't remember episode off the top of my head but I think it was season 6).

The episode when she mentioned her mother being more of a friend than a partent was CSI:My Nanni (6x11).
As for the brother I always thought she had brothers, maybe because of FF:lol:, but I've never heard anything about it.

As for being abused well it wasn't never mentioned & I don't know if they want to do it, honestly I hope no: it would be sad & it wouldn't help Calleigh's development that much.
As for the name I think I read in lots of biographies she had the surname of her mother, but I can't understand why Kenwall's surname is still Duquense:lol:

I was just going through the replies and I wanted to comment this one so badly!! In the episodes, Calleigh's brother's or the abuse or anything were never mentioned and I think originally it was supposed to be like that. Alot of Calleigh's earlier bios said that she was the only girl, had 3 brothers and when their dad drank, they learned how to live outside their home to escape his belt. It I remember also that Calleigh took on her mom's surname when she went to college in an attempt to "recreate" herself, but things have changed and like mentioned, I think FF might have converted me...so lol, I don't actually know.
