EDeN (Eric/Natalia) #2: All about chemistry & forbidden fruit!

Hmm, you may be onto something there... Eric and Natalia need to work on a case together. That way if Eric's head hurts on the field, Natalia could fix him right up. Now we just need to convince TPTB...

I wish one of them would get hurt on the scene together! Then we could really see how they cared for eachother! Cause I think Nat still cares for him the same as she did when they were datin. But I think she should get hurt then we could see how Eric feels about her. Everyones gotten hurt except her if you think about it. And she's part of the team now so I think she deserves a story line. I mean heck, Calleigh got like what 3 or 4 this season?! It's not fair! TPTB make me so mad sometimes! I think this next episode would be perfect for them to have a scene together! Hopefully at least! I wish they hadn't killed off Nick cause then we would see more EDeN!!! I want more jealousy scenes! I love those scenes! I would ask for anything with them together right now!

That is truly what's so suckish! Nat has no storyline to even bring Eric in to play off anything, & Eric's storyline limits his interaction, especially with Natalia.....gee I wonder why, perhaps because with them we actually see real chemistry.
Am I supposed to believe that this was really the way TPTB intended on making EDeN -- barely seen as co-workers, barely seen as friends, & for the most part pretending that they never existed! What a rip off.
Natalia was great at playing that role, just as she is playing any role - but she really knew how to pull off the "love stuff" & make it truly believable.

I actually think she cares more now than she did then. I'm not saying she didn't give a hoot, cause there were obvious times that she did, but I always got the impression that Nick still being alive (at that time) left her not being able to really look ahead into the future. Once he died, & she moved on, I think it allowed her to see & feel more.

I don't know how I feel about the "being hurt" stuff right now. I used to be all for it, but TPTB have gone beyond overkill these last few seasons with that pattern.
I could go for someone in Nat's family dying, or causing her grief, or maybe her developing a non-life-threatening illness -- something that could break her down a little to where she needed Eric's comfort & support. I liked the "shoulder pop" situation, it was very natural; & the embrace was perfectly done showing trust, care, & concern, without being cheezy & overdramatic; so something like that (only much bigger & drawn out through the season) would be good for them to start rebuilding the real EDeN.

All I know is Im quite sick of "poor pitiful Eric". Right now I feel like he doesn't even deserve Natalia's support (though I could handle seeing it), so it's high time for something to happen to her & he shows the same patience & compassion as SHE ALWAYS HAS -- she deserves that much!

I'm thinking that they either have new writers or new ideas... but neither of them are working our for EDeN. The new Eric is driving me nuts, Natalia still doesn't have a decent story line and the two of them seem like strangers than friends. If I was watching an episode for the first time, I couldn't tell if anything was going on with the two of them. *pokes TPTB relentlessly* Well, that isn't helping... maybe I should go to LA and poke them.

I know. This is not doing Eric any favors with that storyline. This has gone on too long. They need to bring Eric back to his real self, and he can reconnect with Natalia. Eric would have to make the move first.

I don't think she's the type to do that anyway, & I agree he would need to make the first move in reconnecting with her. She's done her part - I think she's really tried reaching him since his accident, & he's instead chose to ignore reality; probably so he didn't have to acknowledge or face his own problems & fears.

Natalia strikes me as the type who would "love" from afar & only bring it into light when it's necessary, or when it's reached some breaking point. I couldn't see her "pining" away, or pressuring him, no matter how much she cared & wanted to be with him. That's what I've taken from her so far when it comes down to "love" related issues.

I'd really love to see the tables turned with Eric & Natalia. It became apparent that Natalia didn't have a great marriage, & Eric showed her that decent men do exist & that she can trust them (mainly him) physically. After his own ordeal with his injury, she's remained (though very seldom seen) caring for him & at times tried to be supportive. I definitly think it's Nat's turn, & maybe through him helping her, it would also be helping himself.

I think she's tried all she can do. (For now that is) He just isn't right in his mind right now. Hopefully that'll end soon cause I'm sick and tired of it! I just got done watchin "All In" and when Calleigh gets kidnapped and gets kicked in the stomach and stuff, I think that would be perfect for Nat! Like that would be the perfect scene for her! Cause I think Eric would get worried! I wish in interviews they would tell you what could possibly happen in future episodes! I don't like the wait! Maybe TPTB got shot and there minds are what's really messed up!

Can I just say, awwwwww, I liked their limo scene. It was cute how she leaned forward and pinched his shirt. *chuckle* His line, "talk about seeing the light", should probably be your next thread title.

By the by, wasn't Natalia just as perky as could be? The girl was practically giddy over figuring out how the confessions were taped (and probably pretty happy about being in a small enclosed space with Eric... because who wouldn't be happy in that situation?).

I have to admit I had some develish thoughts run through my head with the 2 of them in the back of that limo...especially since Eric shut the door when he got in!! :devil:

The prism light was just "aww". Yes the little things that still can give me goosebumps with this couple - "that's supposed to be good luck" **touch** & it happened with just the two of them...heehee. Yep, me thinks she is his good luck charm.

Anyone notice the color theme also? The Marrying Kind being the topic of the episode, & yes - who were the only 2 dressed in white? Not to mention Natalia also was wearing something blue

I got all excited when he shut that door! I was like hmmmm I wonder if this brings their memories back!? He didnt really take his eyes of her that much! I know if I was her and saw him shut that door, I prob wouldve got butterflies in my stomach! But hoorayyyy on the scenes! She was in about every single one of them! I was so excited! Can't wait for next weeks! And they did match! I always recognize that! And any color looks good on them cause theyre so dark! So hopefully this is the start of something new!

It never, ever fails! Whenever Eric and Natalia have a scene together, a sort of playfulness always seems to show through. The scene last night, however brief, was no exception at all. That same great chemistry!

Last night was a good one for Natalia, no doubt about that! As far as EDeN is concerned, I still have hope for the future.

I did not notice, but now that you mention it, that's right! Though... I think Eric had little red specks on his shirt. Actually it looked to me like his shirt had gotten very slightly pink, probably in the wash. But that's neither here nor there because it was intended to be a white shirt.

That's cool. All is welcome here in the garden where we reminisce, laugh, speculate, bi*ch & moan, & get drunk on Midori ...ok well that's just me on the last part. :hugegrin:

I'm not sure what color the specks were (just so thankful it wasn't bugs or flowers). I mentioned Natalia was also wearing something blue because it's the traditional wedding thing that you wear white (or ivory) & have something borrowed, something new, & something blue.

Yep. I actually thought a little about that Sacoor photoshoot where A&E were in the limo (I think it was a limo..or plane?) All the same, I agree - when TPTB take time to write in these types of scenarios with EDeN then we do get to see that great chemistry again. It's THERE & it isn't going to go away....no matter how many times TPTB try to avoid these 2 sharing scenes. It always comes back, doesn't it?!

I thought the limo scene was nice. Her noticing the rainbow colors reflecting on his shirt. She tells him that's good luck... and then later theres a follow up on that and he says "Natalia was right, it is good luck" cause he found the murder weapon due to a rainbow of light. I didn't really notice them being color coordinated though. How did I manage to miss that? :lol:
