And so true about the way Flack can get Danny to stop pouting. Danny is like a little peacock...he likes compliments a lot. You know anytime Flack needs to placate Danny, he just tells him what a sexy little thing he is. And Danny just eats that up. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Plus, Danny's ass would look totally hot in spandex. I bet Flack would be copping feels all night long. :lol:

I got a question for you guys.

In 4x13, Danny definitely saw Angell standing in front of Flack's desk. I noticed that he didn't say a word of greeting to Angell and hardly glanced at her, even when Rikki was escorted away to be booked. However, he sure gave Flack a long glower after that.

Do you guys think it's possible that Danny witnessed the interaction between Flack and Angell before they noticed he was there in the precinct? And if he did, do you think it's possible Danny was so snippy with Flack at the end not because of what happened with Rikki ... but because he saw with his own eyes that Flack had a thing for Angell and was jealous?

^It's possible that's part of it. Danny definitely gave Flack a Look with a capital L, and that could have said a lot of things like, "You make turn Rikki in when I don't want to and when I come to do that, I find you flirting with someone else. Gee, thanks a lot, Don." And Flack sure did run after Danny, didn't he? There's no way he would feel guilty about making Danny bring Rikki in; that had to be done. But about Danny catching him with Angell? Maybe.

Of course, anybody but insecure Danny would have noticed that the minute he walked in, there was nobody else in that room for Flack. Flack's eyes didn't leave Danny. But Danny doesn't quite seem to get how into him Flack is, no matter how much Flack does for him.

Anyway, that's a long answer to say, "Yeah, I think it could be part of it." I do think Ruben's death is eating Danny up, and then coming in and seeing the one person who's supposedly crazy about him chatting up someone else may have thrown Danny. Flack looked so damn smitten with Danny the minute he walked in, but Danny being Danny could have easily missed that.

After the difficult life Danny has, possibly he needs more reassurance than anybody else inside a relationship, he must be one of those people who is always cuestioning all the aspects in their lifes to see if there is something wrong, looking for some clue to make him get ready for the big fall that is getting closer. Probably watching Angell talk to Flack in there, when he was supposed to be waiting for him made him even more vulnerable.

They're from an article called "Rocky Moutin High" about Eddie and Carmine takeing a "guys only" vacation, TOGEATHER . Notice they don't show any other guys with them and deffently no wives or girlfriends. Just one of those things that make you go hmm...!

That is a great point about Danny. It certainly explains why he's unable to see how much Flack cares for him and that Flack will never abandon him.

And I think Flack could get pushed into making a move. Flack is such an active person, a doer, a 'seize the day' type. I do think that it would take a lot for him to make a move on Danny, probably because he does think his feelings are unrequited. Danny doesn't do much but let Flack take care of him, but I think trust for Danny is a bigger deal than Flack perhaps realizes. I don't think Danny trusts anybody but Flack.

You know, that's a really good point. Flack has a lot of great people in his life who care about him and vice versa. Flack obviously feels comfortable talking to Angell and Stella, he's formed a friendship with Mac and he and Hawkes even have a manly banter thing going on.

I think everyone loves Danny, too, but I don't think he realizes it. Flack is pretty much the only one he turns to, with the exception of Mac now and then, but Danny almost always seems to expect disapproval from Mac. With Flack, he knows he's going to get unconditional love; Flack might be tough on Danny, but he never judges Danny. If Danny lost Flack, he'd probably fall apart and feel like he's go no one.

I'm not sure Flack would think of his life as "good" without Danny, though. As difficult and trying as Danny can often be, Flack really seems to completely adore him. And when Danny is in danger, Flack looks like he's about to lose his whole world. I think Danny is more used to loss than Flack is; Danny probably expects Flack to walk away from him at some point, but Flack probably doesn't think in those terms.

See, I still have a disc or two left in season 1 to see and whatever i've managed to catch in reruns to go by, but I can see what you're talking about. I think a lot of it comes down to the camaraderie that's present in the lab. They're still building characters over on CSI: Las Vegas, with CSI: NY it came with the building, so to speak.

Danny seems like the kinda guy to trust easily, but he does still have that little... arrogant streak. Some of you have said it's the brat in him.

Of course, you saying that Flack gives him unconditional love makes me think of Flack as some big, sarcastic dog running around at the foot of Danny's bed. (I went on wikipedia the other day, trying to find the definition of snark and half expected to see Flack's picture.)

So really, who is that leash for, hmm?

Danny was a lot more brat before, in season one and the beggining of season 2. he liked to do what his guts told him to instead following orders, like the case he had with the statue man and ater the Minhas shooting. Smetimes I miss that Danny, the one who made his own rules. The good thing in 'All in the family' was that he did what previous Danny would have made, at least that's the feeling I had.

Flack being compared to a great, loving guard dog by fans in the East really is appropriate! Isn't it the common idea that dogs like Labradors always give unconditional love while cats are the ones who always demand unconditional love? :lol: Just figures Flack and Danny are perfect together then; Flack always gives unconditional love to Danny who wants and needs it, and it's a complete circle, 69-style. :devil:
