That's, uhm, partly why I ended up writing a certain story where Danny and Flack ended up having one. Literally. :lol:

Carmine joked in his interview that he thought Danny would end up in an insane asylum in season five! What do you guys think Flack would do if Danny had a breakdown?

Pure coincidence but I read the Nine Months stories over the weekend Kimmi and its absolutely cute and laugh out loud funny.:thumbsup: Top41 I have to be honest the only thing that truly stood out for me in that entire interview of Carmine's was the reference to Danny being shipped off to a mental asylum and I'm completely biased here but all I thought of at the time was mmm what would Flack do if Danny had a mental breakdown?:lol: Obviously Flack will be there for Danny, there is not even a hint of doubt about that if we consider these two's histories.
But I don't think it would go as far as Danny ending up in a padded room because Flack wouldn't allow things to get that far. His pretty tuned in to his kinkapoo's behaviour and he would be able to read into Danny's long before the men in white suits show up at the lab. Perhaps Flack would suggest Danny to partake in some therapy. Maybe the two of them could join a cuddle group:lol:.

Aww, thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I wanted to write a story where Danny and Flack got to have their very own baby (and kinda make fun of cliche pregnancy stories, heh). It was nice to see Flack hold a baby in season ... two, was it? It was in that episode involving the deaf family. I'd love to see Danny cuddle a baby and have Flack tease him like crazy about it or play with the baby too.

I loved that he actually mentioned Danny having a breakdown and possibly ending up in an asylum! It goes to show he's yearning for some very challenging, meaty stuff to work with. (And no, get your heads out of the perv box, I wasn't referring to a certain part of Flack's anatomy. :lol: ) Seriously, it would be excellent material for him. So much more unpredictable and wild and exciting than what he's been given for most of the last few seasons (apart from a couple of fantastic episodes now and then).

I can actually envision Danny having a breakdown, just not to the extent of being thrown into a padded cell. Like althea said, Flack would never allow it. In fact, I don't think Flack would allow Danny to even reach to such a point. Look at him in episode 4x13; just Danny not showing up for work was enough to get him dashing over to Danny's apartment to check up on his partner. (Oh yes, they're partners in the best sense of the word. ) If Danny became that depressed, Flack would know, he so would. And you just know Danny will turn to him when things get really bad, just like he did in episode 13.

If Danny did have a breakdown, Flack would probably drop everything (no perviness intended) to help Danny mend. It literally hurts Flack to see or hear Danny in any kind of pain, physical, emotional or mental. Remember his expression when he picked up his phone and heard Danny's voice after Danny got beaten up by the mobsters in the season 3 finale? I think if Flack had been there in person, he wouldn't have thought twice about killing those mobsters, not like he did in the beginning of the episode.

Ohh boy, I feel a plot bunny nibbling me now. :lol:

Perhaps Flack would suggest Danny to partake in some therapy. Maybe the two of them could join a cuddle group:lol:

He looked totally gutted when he heard how scared and hurt Danny was on the phone in "Snow Day." Flack would have taken all those mobsters out in a heartbeat if he'd been there.

I love the look on Flack's face as he gazes at his k'poo its not just staring there's so much love and warmth in those blue eyes and Danny seems so blissfully unaware in that moment of what effect he has on our poor detective.

Great awwww moment just look how they are both staring at each other over the glasses like only the two of them exist! Screw the fact that they are in a overcrowded bar they only have eyes for each other.

Danny is the only person who can reduce the normally tough ny detective to this too sweet dorky smile. LOVE IT!

Currently in England we're on season 4- and poor old Danny I nearly cried when that poor kid Reuben died.

How many episodes to go untill the writers strike affected our beloved shows?

That was a pretty romantic way to describe them, yes indeed. Might we say...soulmates? And yes, it's not like they're just work buddies by any means. Not to mention they play basketball together on the weekends.

I love all the pics, but this one is just really sweet. And yes, I do notice how big Danny's eyes get when he looks at Flack. He looks at him with such trust. I love Flack's dorky smiles around Danny! It's funny--Flack is so smooth and suave around everyone else. He's the slick detective with the witty one-liners. But around Danny, he just turns into a total dork, laughing at Danny's bad jokes and smiling at him all of the time. It's just so cute how one little Kinkapoodle can reduce the cool, slick detective to a goofy guy in love.

I maybe new to the scene of "Flack/Danny love, but even a newbie like I can see the strength of their relationship.

Heres what I've seen either from sites or from watching it for myself.

Flack and Danny are really close friends. They've supported each other.

They've spent time outside the lab- its cannon they've been to a pub/bar.

It is hard from me to spot which episode it was from but i think it was the end of season 3, when Danny was beaten up, correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't he calling Don for help???

Yep. That's in the season three finale. After getting the crap beaten out of him, probably overwhelmed by pain, who does he call right off the bat? That's right ... Flack! Since his mobile phone was crushed earlier on, he had to remember Flack's phone number by heart to even call the guy and this is while he's in agony from a broken hand and fractured ribs, mind you! Ya know how it goes, when someone's down at their lowest, they always seek the one whom they can depend on and trust to be there for them. Guess for Danny, Flack is that very person.

They're soulmates, definitely. And true, true, Flack has been there for the good and bad times. They most likely eat pizza together too, since Danny had asked Flack to buy pizza for him in the episode Trapped. Flack knows what kind of pizza Danny likes!

Ooh I got into a little bit of trouble because of that fanfics yesterday here at work. I have a long commute home from work and decided to print me out some reading material from fanfiction.net Kimmi'S double dd story. Printed it out for some reason twice And I picked up the one copy from the printer and well the second copy printed without me knowing it. Someone here picked it up read the first page and it was a bit of a spanish inquisition going on here as he tried to find out who was printing out a very lengthy story about a guy who has double DD boobies. I hanged my head in shame and admitted to being the guilty party I have yet to live this down my colleagues thought i was weird before this but they'e now made up their minds about the matter:guffaw:

I've always wondered whether the thugs made Danny call Flack specifically, or whether they just told him to call someone close to him who would get the cops. After all, if the thugs made him call the police station, they probably would have made him call the main number (probably would have dialed for him, too). So it was probably Danny who chose Flack, and yes, he obviously knew Flack's cell number by heart. Well, duh--he certainly should because Flack is the person he always calls when he's in trouble!

The whole episode took place within a day, right? The thugs may have specifically wanted Flack to be contacted since he appeared on TV and was the one who busted them earlier on ... but seriously, would they even have the time to watch TV when they're going to plan something as insane as break into CSI HQ? Naw, they probably got Danny to call someone who'd get things moving, so to speak. And Danny called Flack because Flack will not only do that, but save that bubblebutt of his too!
