Dancing With The Stars

It happens every single time on ANY season of DWTS. I've learned by now that this isn't a dance contest like it's supposed to be, it's merely a popularity contest. However, the fact that it's Bristol of course blows it up tenfold.

FBI Investigating white powder scare at CBS

Los Angeles..The FBI is investigating a threatning letter containing white powder that was delivered to "Dancing With The Stars" production office at the CBS Studios on Friday. "An intial field screening was negative for hazardous substances, but the letter will be transported to a regional lab for futhur testing", FBI spokesman Laura Eimiller said. In a statement, ABC confirmed the envelope was received at the show's production office and the substance was determined to be talcum powder. Hazardous materials officials with the city of Los Angeles, the L.A. Police Dept the L.A. Fire dept, and the FBI responded to the CBS Studios lot where the hit ABC show is staged, authorities said. The FBI and the LAPD are conducting a joint investigation, Eimiller said. She would not say to whom the letter was addressed too. The incident occurred just days before the final show-down for the mirrorball trophy. Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey and Bristol Palin will compete for the prize this week. The show has made headlnes in recent days because of an outcry by some who believe that poltical supporters of Sarah Palin may be manipulting the voting system. Bristol Palin has remained on the show, despite consistently landing at the bottom of the judges leaderboard~

Yay! Jennifer won! I think it would have been much more interesting if she'd been up against the other really good dancer in the competition (Brandy) rather than the two weakest (Kyle and Bristol)... but it was between Kyle and Jennifer in the end and Jennifer won, as well she should have. If it had been between her and Brandy, I wouldn't have known which one to choose because they were both really good.

I wholeheartdly agree Your right on with you anaylsis. This to me was probably the worst season yet, They nuked really good dancers, with great personailties. I only turned in for the last 5 minutes, to see who won, because I couldn't stand the other two. I thought Jennifer was the best with Brandy a close 2nd. I did get tired of Jennifer's "drama" but glad she won over Bristol and Kyle:bolian:

Sorry for the snide remark on "has-beens", it's just to me there not big "stars" in todays world, like say Tom Hanks or Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp or even our own Laurence Fishburne, and I've never heard of some of these people. I guess they have and are now doing things, but a "star" to me is like the ones before-mentioned:confused:

Team Sugar Ray Leonard baby! The man is a legend! If I could vote from the UK, I would!

I've only heard of two of the others though...

It's a bit like our Strictly, you don't really get huge current stars on there. That being said, I like our Strictly so it's not a complaint.

Did anyone get to see this entire show? I only got to watch a few minutes of it, as I had company drop by. I thought Sugar Ray, did an amazing job, so who came in with the highest score? Tonight the first elmination:(

I didn't see the whole show because I was watching NCIS: Los Angeles and only flipped over when that went to commercial. But I think Ralph had the highest score followed by Kirstie, I think and maybe Lil Romeo.

Mike Catherwood (and his dancing partner Lacey) got voted off.

Thank's GNRF I didn't know his name, I got sidetracked with visitors, and missed some of this show. I'm just not as excited this season, like I was in the past. I don't even know who some of these dancers are. I did enjoy the professional dancers in their presentation, awesome:thumbsup:

I don't watch it all, but I see some of it. I just watch it when there's nothing else interesting on.

Wendy got eliminated, not surprising considering she had the lowest score.

Poor Kirstie. Last week Maks fell, and she fell as a result. This week, her shoe came off while she was dancing. She still danced very well though. :)
