With the excitement riding high in the Taylor home. Stella heard the phone ring.

"Hello."

"Stella, it's Eric."

"Eric...what's the matter? Is something wrong?"

"Yeah! Horatio and Calleigh were in a five car pile up on their way back home. I'm sorry Stella, they both died."

Slience could be heard, between the phone.

"Stella! Are you still there?"

"I am. Hold on. Mac....you need to take this."

As he seen his wife crying, he knew it wasn't good.

"Hello."

"Mac! I have some bad news. Horatio and Calleigh were both killed in a five car pile this morning. I got the call from Flack. I'm sorry Mac, I know how hard this is going to be on all of us."

"What? No, this can't be right, tell me it's not true Eric?"

"I'm sorry Mac. I wish I could. I've lost almost all my family now, I have hardly no one left."

"Yes you do Eric. You have all of us, Mackenzie and the kids."

*Crying* "I know Mac. I need to let you go."

"Okay Eric. Are you going to be okay. Mackenzie is with you?"

"She is. Don't worry about us Mac."

"I am worried Eric, especially for you. This must be hard on you. Have you notified their family?"

"I have. They should be arriving sometime tomorrow."

"I can't believe this Eric, it's like a nightmare."

"I know. I'll talk to you later Mac, I still have to tell Yelina and Ray Jr."

"Okay Eric. Take it easy, and I'll talk to you soon."

Hanging up the phone, Mac wrapped Stella tightly in his arms.

"Dad, what's going on?"

"I have some bad news. It seems Horatio and Calleigh were in a pile up today. Both of them died."

"Oh...cried Anya. Please say it isn't true Mac."

"I'm sorry Anya, but Flack confirmed it was them."

"Oh poor Eric. Horatio was his brother in law, they were all really close, he must be devastated. And Natalia, I should get over to her and Danny's place, she's going to need my support."

"Okay love, calm down, I'll go with you. Dad will you watch the kids?"

"Of course son, you and Anya go ahead. I'll give the rest of the family a call."

oh noo! Ive just caught up on the story, haven't even read the one its based on yet (oops, it seems i always read part 2 before par 1 XD, as with harry potter i read number 4 first:D )

Anyway i love you story,, quite brave to "kill" one of the main actors in a show, i wouldn't have the guts to do that, i'll be sure not to tell my uncle though, he'd have to through very heavy objects at you.. ;)

It's really awesome this story. it is.!
 
When Anya and Michael arrived at Danny's and Nat's, she found her sister in tears, along with Danny.

"Oh Nat, I'm so sorry, try and calm down. Danny where's Lindsay?"

"She's sleeping still, how is Mac and Stella?"

"Not to good, they are still shocked. I don't think it's really sank in yet."

"I didn't think it would. Mac and Horatio became really close over the years."

"Nat, please calm down. Talk to me."

"About what? Do you know how important they were to me? Poor Eric, he must just be so lost. He loses his sister, and now his brother in law and his wife. How's he going to get through this. Then there's Yelina and Ray Jr., none of this makes sense. Why them?"

"I don't know sis, I honestly don't. But sometimes we are not meant to understand why things happen."

"I know, but it just hurts so much."

Holding her sister tightly in her arms. Danny and Michael watched in pain.


Meanwhile.....

"Daddy is you okay?"

"I will be Peanut, come here daddy needs a hug."

Walking over to her daddy, she hugged him tight.

"I love you daddy, so much, please don't cry no more, I's scared when you is sad."

"I know Peanut, I'm sorry."

"Sweetheart, why don't you go play with your sister's while Mommy talks to daddy."

"Okay mama."

Once she left the room, Mackenzie wrapped Eric in hers arms, and that's when the pain started.

"Owww....oh God not now."

"What's the matter Mac?"

"My water just broke Eric, oh God the pain. It's happening to fast, I can feel one of the babies."

Laying down his wife, Eric grabbed the cell phone and called 911.

"911, what's your emergency?"

"This is Lt.Eric Delko, I need Paramedics sent out to my home immediatly. My wife is in labor, and the babies are already coming."

"Eric, this is Tereasa, I'm dispatching them now. Can you see the babies crown?"

"Yeah, it's coming, I don't even have time to get blankets for her or them."

"Okay, just relax, you're going to have start delivering them. Very carefully position your hands around the head and neck, don't pull, have Mackenzie push."

As Mackenzie pushed, the first baby slid out.

"Oh my God, it's a girl. Now what, here comes another one. Damn I can't do this."

"You can Eric, lay the baby on Mackenzie, and get ready to grab the next one."

"This isn't right. Mackenzie you told me your labor takes hours."

"I'm sorry, these ones don't want to wait. God I need to push."

As she pushed the second one slipped through.

"Okay the second one is here, now where do I put it?"

Mackenzie tried desperately not to laugh, as she heard the Paramedics pull up.

"Oh God, the third one is coming. Auuuuuuuuuuuuugh...."

As the girls heard the screaming babies they ran down the stairs.

"Ewww....daddy what's on the babies, they's all gooey," said Shannon.

"Come here girls and meet your sisters," cried Eric.

As the girls looked, they awwed and ewwed at the same time.

"Mac, how you feeling love?"

"Better, relieved," she sighed as they lifted her onto the stretcher, while the other team looked after the triplets.

"Okay, I'm going to take the girls in the Hummer with me, and we'll follow right behind you."

"Okay, I love you Eric."

"I love you too Mackenzie."

I think you put Eric in the top line by accident.....Ooo i love the girls' reaction :lol:

Three more girls! :lol: Too cute! Sugar and Spice and everything nice. :D :) :lol: And I thought Eric was outnumbered before. :lol: Now there's three more girls. He and the dogs are really outnumbered. :lol: :lol: at the girls saying the babies are all gooey.
 
When they arrived at the Hospital the girls were screaming with excitment. Telling anyone who would listen.....


"We have sisters, we haves three of them," yelled Sara with excitment.

"You do, said the nurse. Aren't you three lucky girls to have three new sisters."

"We's are. But daddy's gonna go nuts, know why?"

"No, why?"

"Cause he said us girls give him and mommy fits, so can you see what my sisters are gonna do. Cause babies always cry and wet," she giggled.

The nurse was laughing, never had she seen such a bright eyed 4 year old with such knowledge.

"Lt.Delko, you have such lovely young girls, you must be a very lucky man."

"I am. The luckiest," he smiled with joy.

"That's cause you love us, right daddy?"

"That's right Peanut. Now how about you quiet down before you wake the other patients."

"I's can't daddy, I's to excited with all the babies, I see mommy now?"

"Soon Peanut. I'm sorry, I'll try to keep her a little more quiet," he laughed.

"That's fine Lt.Delko. Leave her be, she has every right to be excited."

While the nurse left, Eric tried to get his daughters to settle down.

"Come on girls, how about you color?"

Reaching for the cloring pages and crayons, he had his daughters color pictures for the new babies while he called Mac.

"Hello."

"Hi dad, I have some news for you. Mackenzie and I have three new daughters."

"What? She had the babies, when?"

"About 45 minutes ago. I can honestly tell you I'm on top of the world, as I delivered them."

"You...you're kidding, right?"

"Nope. She slid them out one by one. I've never seen babies come out so fast. All three of them are healthy and screaming."

"Wow. Okay son, I'll let mom know, and we'll get Michelle, MJ and Caroline ready and head over to see the new additions."

"Okay dad, bye."

"Excuse me Lt.Delko."

"Yes."

"You may see your wife and babies now."

Brimming with excitment. They all headed in to see the newest additions to the Delko family.

When Mac, Stella and Michelle arrived at the Hospital they found Eric holding two of the babies while Mackenzie held the other.

"Hey there. Look at these babies. Where's my other girls?"

"They're with the nurses having juice and cookies."

Mac could see Eric was really trying to stay strong, but he could also see the pain behind his eyes. Trying not to bring up the subject of Horatio and Calleigh to soon, he asked....

"Have you named my granddaughters yet?"

"We have dad, answered Mackenize. The one I'm holding is Selina Calleigh-Ann. The two that daddy has are Sasha Lynn, and Serina Dawn."

"Umm...Mackenzie love, isn't that an aweful lot of "S's?"

"I know dad, but you know me, I like to keep things neat," she laughed.

Taking Selina Calleigh-Ann from his daughter, he held her close.

"Wow...great job son. They are all very beautiful."

As Eric teared up again he knew it wasn't because of his babies. It was because he couldn't share it with Horatio and Calleigh. Looking at his wife, he passed her Selina, took the other to babies from Eric and put them in their little beds. Then without a spoken word, Mac turned and pulled his son into his arms as he cried.

"I know son, I know. It will be alright. We will all get through this together, I promise. I know it hurts like hell, but we are here for you."

As Eric contiued to cry, Stella and Mackenzie knew it was going to take a long time to help Eric get over the loss of his brother in law and wife.


Meanwhile......

Anya had finally gotten Natalia settled down.

"Do you think she'll be okay?"

"She'll be fine Danny. Though more in likely she'll be up and down till after the funeral."

"Damn what a time for this to happen. I still can't believe it. Eric must be going through hell."

"I'm sure he is, but he has Mac, Stella and Mackenzie to help him through it."

Just then the phone rang.

"Hello."

"Danny it's Mac."

"Hey Mac, how's Eric doing?"

"Not good, and kind of trying to be happy at the same time. Mackenzie gave birth tonight to three baby girls."

"God, you're kidding me. Wow. they are going to have their hands full."

"I know. They'll need alot of help. You'll let Natalia, Michael and Anya know?"

"Of course, I'll talk to you later Mac, bye."

Hanging up the phone, Danny turned and said....

"Michal your a Uncle again. Your sister gave birth to three baby girls tonight."

"Oh my, said Anya...three more girls," she smiled.

"Oh my is right. Poor Eric, when they get them home," laughed Michael.
